We live in a 105 year old house and I have worked with many contractors over the 10+ years we have lived in the house and Robert and his team are one of my favorites. I am very demanding and detailed (anal) and Roberto met (or exceeded) all my requests. I originally hired him to replace knob and tube wiring in about 6 rooms of the house, but the job quickly expanded into relocating switches, adding new outlets and switches, installing light fixtures and redoing inferior electrical work that was done previously. Roberto was very patient with me as he made time for me every evening to discuss what was found behind the walls during that day and to go over ideas for the best way to re-wire the rooms. He was able to run 3 new wires from the basement to our third floor without breaking into any walls. During the entire process he was courteous, responsive and professional and his team cleaned up after themselves every day. All the work took over a week to complete (as expected) and was not cheap, but Roberto's price was competitive with other proposals I received and he did not charge me anything extra for all the additional work I referenced above. They showed up every morning on time as they said they would – unfortunately this is rare for many contractors. In summary, a very strong recommendation.

Rob was extremely professional and attentive to my needs on my project. I have a small home and have been slowly finishing my basement. He provided me with everything I needed and more, including upgrading my panel to 200amp service for my future upstairs addition. He went above and beyond the scope of work and went out of his way to correct some things that were left unattended by the previous homeowner. He was very direct in communicating what needed to be resolved to provide the service I requested and alerted me to several issues that he would resolve at no additional charge. We bought a 1920s old house that needed a ton of electrical upgrades. We are first time homeowners. This home was in need of a lot of service. It degraded knob and tubing (K&T) wiring, out-dated electrical panel (100 amp) and a spider-web of electrical lines. In addition we were updating the kitchen, bathroom and overall lighting of the first floor. Out of 4 electricians, Vaccarella came out on top because of their experience on dealing with K&T wiring and updating the electrical. From the moment Rob came to evaluate the house he was on point with diagnosing the house and how to address the important issues. (I must remind you we are first time homeowners and lack professional expertise.) I had a vision of the work required and the most important issue was dealing with any potential electrical fire hazard from K&T wiring. Vaccarella was hired, 1) the K&T wiring were eliminated and new electrical lines were fed to bypass the "spider-web" of old electrical lines. Simultaneously, 2) new recessed lighting were installed into our poorly lit first floor. And 3) the price was right. Rob essentially "killed three birds with one stone."As a bonus, they even organized the electrical wiring in my basement by running brand new lines. For the final phase, we had them rewire our kitchen and bathrooms with brand new lines. Due to all the upgrades and preparing for future electrical demands, it was necessary to update our electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp. In conclusion, Vaccarella Electrical performed an outstanding job. We will be hiring them for future electrical work and would highly recommend them. Rob truly cares and is very passionate about his work. He was very sincere in caring for the electrical needs of my family and cared about the house as if it was his own.

The buyers of my MIL's house had to move up the closing date, and the electrician we'd initially booked to do some of the required upgrades wasn't returning our calls. We were in a bind and had to find a new electrician. Well, we should have hired Robert Vaccarella from the start. He not only rearranged his schedule to squeeze us in, but since he was leaving for a trip overseas he even took our phone calls and discussed the work while he was abroad! And the work (upgrade of the electrical service and other electrical work that needed to be done on the house) was done expertly, and well within our tight time frame. I highly, highly recommend Vaccarella Electric!

Roberto and Jon were professional, hard working and did a super job. They provided grounding for my house which had never been done, covered the wiring from the pole to the house, replaced the two insufficient panels with one that looks much better and Jon labeled the connections so if there is a problem, I will not have to search for the right connection. I feel safe now whereas I did not before.

I called Roberto to come take a look at my circuit breaker panel because it was overheating. He came right on time and provided a honest evaluation. He is very knowledgeable and I will definitely call him again for future electrical problems.

I needed electrical work done on a pool panel and an outdoor Jacuzzi. I called a few electricians before I called Vaccarella Electric. I couldn't get a firm price from the other electricians and got a serious run around on how long the job would take. But when I called Roberto Vaccarella none of that happened. My first impression of Roberto was that he was professional and polite and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. The next day after his initial visit I decided to go with his company. When I tried to arrange a time to meet with him to give him a down payment he said it wouldn't be necessary. I was shocked as I've never had a contractor do this for me before, my background is in real estate and I've dealt with many contractors over the years and this was the first time I experienced this. Roberto came several times to my home because of miscommunication with my pool contractor and never once requested a dime! His work was done thoroughly and affordably. I passed both town inspections and will definitely use him for future electrical jobs. In my book Vaccarella Electric deserves all Five stars!

Robert and John did a very good job. In addition to hanging a dining room light fixture, they changed some ceiling bulbs and repaired the outdoor lighting around the pool. They were professional, friendly, prompt and knowledgable.
