The process didn't start out well and went downhill from there. My salesman was brand new, unskilled and unable to provide the info I needed and was removed from my order. I was referred to the project manager who was not responsive and eventually wound up being fired before my install took place. I was lied to about the specifics of the install process,they then installed the wrong (cheaper model) windows and tried to trick me into signing off on the job by insisting that with a simple "service call" they could replace the incorrect windows into the just installed frames (as if the window frames were universal-one model fits all). The correct windows had their own "model specific" frame, the proposed solution would not have worked and being in the business they had to have known that. After I insisted on the correct windows and frames (per the contract) and refused to sign off on the job I was yelled at and hung up on. Eventually (6 weeks later) the correct windows were installed, but for spite I was shorted 2 screens.Thereafter My Home refused to respond to my request for a call back. Fortunately the window manufacturer has a local depot where I was able to order the 2 screens I needed. The only aspect of this entire transaction I am satisfied with was the actual installation. I attribute that to the fact the sub contractor had no direct ties to My Home and were honest people who wanted to do their job right. These days anyone can have a slick looking web site. Do not be fooled. I would not recommend anyone do business with this unethical operation.

This was a kitchen ground floor renovation of a row home. 480sq ft. It started in July of 2008. We encountered mistake after mistake. The biggest mistake was the mis measuring of our space which sent a chain reaction of problems into the project. The space was measured wrong by a whole foot. The wrong back door was ordered. When the door takes 8-12 weeks for delivery that's a major problem. They installed our porcelain floor and never covered it up and protected it during the rest of the project so there are scratches and nicks and the grout is no longer the color it should be. The kitchen cabinets were delivered and most of the cabinets did not fit due to the original mis measuring. Several cabinets had to be reordered, again weeks to reorder. In the meantime several cabinet fronts were scratched and nicked because they never protected them while they continued to work, so they had to be reordered. They installed our backsplash tiles and somehow there are scratched tiles that we're just finding. The final straw was the radiant floor that they installed was done incorrectly and improperly. They never checked the mats as they were installing them to know if it was shorting out. So, only after all the porcelain was laid over it and a month later did we find out that only half the floor worked, the other half would trip the gfi. First they denied there was a problem until we hired a radiant floor expert to diagnose the situation. Then they tried to bypass the ground wire to get it to work, which is completely unsafe and wrong. Through the whole project also they tried to upcharge us for things that they didn't plan for or forsee. Everytime we turned around they were asking for money for this and that. The front of our bar front is a wood panel that is split and has a big hole in the front because there was electrical issues behind it that they had to fix. There are so many code violations that we now have to get fixed . They are also withholding materials that we've already paid for like the bar front replacement, cabinet fronts that were scratched, our island legs, and tile that we ordered to go under our stoop. They told us that we couldn't put an exterior light over our front door so that it was flush and not an exterior mount because it was against city code. We called the city and they said that's completely not true. Our backyard is completely trashed because they threw all of the demolition materials back there. Our deck back there needs to be power washed and restained at the very least. Our powder room off the kitchen the floor had to be scraped with a putty knife just to get the paint, tile grout, cement, and general filth off the floor which we told we were keeping from the beginning. I could go on and on, but that's just the major things.
