Murray Paving & Concrete

Horribly. DO NOT HIRE!!! Started process in August, it is now Nov 25, and the only thing the company has done is ripped up and put binder down. It was like pulling teeth going back and fourth from Aug to Oct to get a start date. They never went for permits, I had to get permits. Was promised 2 weeks after permits driveways would be completed. Twice a week from Oct to present we were promised they would be here. Never showed except the 1 day to pull up the driveways. The day prior, I was called and asked to mark out (because we all have mark out spray paint on hand) where the extension was going and where we were filling back with dirt. The last straw came on Tuesday, Nov 21, I get a text that afternoon that they weren't coming again. My husband worked it out to have them here Saturday. We were promised Saturday, we were told there was an opening in the schedule and that they verified the asphalt plant would be open. Got a text Friday afternoon, saying they weren't coming Saturday, they'd be here Monday. My husband went back and fourth between the project manager and the owner. The project manager told my husband he didn't know what his boss was doing, that he checked and made sure there was an opening in the schedule and that the plant was open. When my husband confronted Bill the owner with that info, he proceeded to tell my husband to "shove it up his a##". This has been the most unprofessional company I've ever had to deal with. With excuses everywhere from its too windy to machines broke down. In the beginning I understood when there was a delay because they were paving at schools. Then I think we just became the customers that they pushed back because we never complained when they cancelled appointments. So we became the softies that they could shove to the side. I'm just completely disappointed. The only bright spot was the project manager Joe, who unfortunately had to do his bosses dirty work on many occasions.

Loved how my driveway and patio came out. We have gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors and friends on how it has brought out the curb appeal of the house. Our patio is going to be perfect for the summer and we can't wait to start grilling and entertaining on it. I was impressed by how quickly the job was done. The estimator and owner were there the day after we called them and were very friendly and knew exactly what we needed. They didn't waste any time getting it done. Their prices were competitive, but well worth it. We will definitely be using them in the future.

Unbelievable! Bill and his crew were extremely responsive and timely. I got a call from Bill himself, and he showed up and explained everything to me in detail. He assured me that I would be happy and I definitely am. I left for work in the morning and when I came back there was a brand new driveway. One year later and it looks as good as day one. Everything that was promised and more! I would recommend Murray Paving & Concrete to everyone!
