Küche+Cucina has 2 locations - Paramus and Madison, NJ. They have been designing award winning kitchens since 1989. They have won a variety of design awards, including the “Best of Show” Design Award from Signature Kitchen & Bath Magazine – 7 times! Their exceptional design projects have graced the pages and covers of numerous national design magazines and were featured on HGTV, DIY, The Sopranos and The Apprentice. Their success has made them a household name in their local market and has afforded them national recognition as well - They were commissioned to design the architectural school dorms at Harvard University, the cabinetry of the NYC Plaza Hotel and other multi-unit projects around the country. According to Amir J. Ilin, Küche+Cucina’s president, their success is mainly attributed to their philosophy: “Quality Doesn’t Cost – It Pays!” Ilin explains that the company’s mission is to improve the living standards of their clients by empowering them to make informed choices. Their clients are offered the best possible design concepts, showcased within 2 showrooms - 6,000 square feet in Paramus, NJ and the new 5,000 square feet, in Madison, NJ. These displays of products from around the world have been created by Küche+Cucina’s award-winning designers to fit every taste and most budgets. To date, Küche+Cucina has created and installed more than 3,000 kitchens around the US and abroad. Küche+Cucina employs an experienced and talented group of professionals dedicated exclusively to room design and installation. Jointly, they bring the project to a successful completion. We sincerely regret that you have had a less than satisfactory experience with our company. Since we did not do work for you, what did we do wrong...? We've been in business for 30 years and have sold thousands of kitchens in that period of time. We've built our business on what is reflected in the many positive reviews we've received over the years, from people that own a Kuche+CUcina kitchen.

Dear [member name removed] - we didn't received an a message from you, via Angie's List, nor did we get a voice message and/or an e mail from you... - how ae we suppose to respond to you...?!? We have a strong feeling you are just an imposter, posting negative reviews (we found another, identical negative review from you, on another kitchen company) on behalf of one of our competitors... It is a shame Angie's List have not found a way to filter people like you

The designer described the Style Craft brand cabinetry we would go with as being "painted on like a golf ball", which made us think they would be really scratch resistant, which they weren't. The representative was very nice along the way, but ultimately we ended up feeling ripped off, and with a kitchen well designed by us, but with compromises suggested by the kitchen designer that we didn't have to make like when she thought we wouldn't have a lot of hip clearance in a part of the kitchen where two corners of countertops would be walked between, and it turned out we had plenty. We also got skinny cabinets next to our stove and fan that didn't have to be so skinny thus rendering them useless. We had a clause to pay the last $500 after we were fully satisfied. Three years later we still haven't paid that money because I think we've basically given up-us on them and them on us! After spending over $40,000 on a small kitchen we felt cynical about this "boutique" kitchen store.
Description of Work: Helped us with the designing and layout of a new kitchen although we pretty much knew what we wanted going in. We also knew all the appliances we would want, too. Basically Kuche + Cucina would charge us for cabinets where we went with simple white painted cabinets and they would do the CAD layout that we basically designed with her help. The granite countertops, appliances and installation would be done by our guys although the cabinet installation was with someone they trusted who did a pretty good job.

CLIENT GAVE US AN F FOR PRICE, THOUGH THEY KNEW THE EXACT PRICE BEFORE THEY MADE THE PURCHASE AND YET BOUGHT THE KITCHEN… CLIENT GAVE US A D FOR QUALITY BECAUSE HE THOUGHT THAT THE CABINETS WERE SCRATCH RESISTANT - “THE DESIGNER TOLD HIM” THEY ARE PAINTED LIKE GOLF BALLS ARE. WE WONDER IF HE HAS A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE OTHER COMPANY AS WELL BECAUSE HIS GOLF BALLS ARE SCRATCHED TOO… CLIENT GAVE US A D FOR RESPONSIVENESS THOUGH THEY STATED THAT: CLIENT GAVE US A C FOR PUNCTUALITY THOUGH THEY DO NOT (AND REALLY CAN’T) COMPLAIN ABOUT ANY DELAYS ON THE JOB… CLIENT GAVE US A D FOR PROFESSIONALISM THOUGH THEY STATED THAT: 1.“THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY NICE ALONG THE WAY” 2.“THE CABINET INSTALLATION WAS WITH SOMEONE THEY TRUSTED WHO DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB.” CLIENT STATED THAT “WE PRETTY MUCH KNEW WHAT WE WANTED GOING IN. WE ALSO KNEW ALL THE APPLIANCES WE WOULD WANT, TOO." BUT THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT THE DESIGN… CLIENT THINKS THAT HE “HAD A CLAUSE TO PAY THE LAST $500 AFTER WE WERE FULLY SATISFIED.” – HE DID NOT! HE SIMPLY DID NOT PAY HIS BILL WITH A MILLION EXCUSES (SEE SOME OF THEM ABOVE). WE WERE SIMPLY GLAD TO WALK AWAY FROM $500 AND NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH HIM EVER AGAIN… IN CONCLUSION: I GUESS AFTER YOU DO 3,000 KITCHENS (FOR CELEBRITIES AND FOR THE REST OF US), SOMEONE IS NOT GOING TO BE HAPPY WITH THE JOB (THOUGH IT WAS ALL VERY SMOOTH – READ ABOVE) NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO…
