Bonded rug turned out great. I was called ahead to be informed that the rug cannot be cleaned because the colors would bleed out. I appreciated the notice. The wool rug does not look different from when I handed it in. I am not an expert though. The work took a little long - I think 5 weeks.

They were very pleased with them. They said they were very accommodating to their schedule and that the woman they dealt with was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. They thought that they were not the cheapest but they are very reasonable.

Company was extremely helpful and courteous from booking the appointment, answering questions, confirming appointment and the job done. The cleaning team arrived promptly and explained the process in detail and answered all questions. They were thorough and the job took a couple of hours. We were given explicit instructions on both preparing the rooms before and after the cleaning. We also appreciated the clear explanation of what stains would not be removed.

I purchased my carpet over 15 years ago from G.Fried..and decided to try them for carpet cleaning (as I could no longer do it myself) . I had been seeing other companies and coupon deals in newspapers and mailers...and realized that I would much prefer to go with a company I know and have used before. (carpet purchase and last year a small repair job)---I AM GLAD I DID.! Prompt, friendly service from the time I called for an estimate to the finish of the job. AND the carpets were cleaned perfectly. Pretreating was included..which is often an "extra" other companies add on....and they re-measured and found I had over estimated square footage..so price was lower than estimated by phone. This is a local/family run company anyone would feel comfortable dealing with...quality service at a fair price. I will use them again for any carpet purchase and cleaning in the future.

I had a great experience with G. Fried, and would highly recommend them. First, Lucy in the office was great at scheduling my appointment, giving me all the information I needed about what service they would be using, quoted a price which was accurate when the final bill came in, and told me what I should move and not move prior to the service. The gentlemen who came out were prompt, courteous, friendly and very honest about the results they could give me. My carpet was very dirty and hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. They told me right up front they would not be able to return it to a "new" look, and I told them I wasn't expecting that. They set to work, and were finished in about 2 hours. They spot-treated all the stains, let that set, and then commenced with washing the carpet. They told me it would take at least 24 hours to dry, because they had to use a lot of water to get the best results. This morning, after 24 hours, it's still damp, so they weren't kidding. The weather is humid, which isn't helping. Even wet, though, I can see a great improvement. I've heard a lot of horror stories about carpet cleaning companies, and can honestly say G. Fried is highly reputable, and I would use them every time. Thanks, guys!

Service person was professional and efficient picking up and delivering our Oriental Rug. Cleaning was well done, although there was little they could do to restore color in an area of the rug that was slightly bleached by sun exposure. We plan to use G Fried again.

People at G. Fried were very pleasant, and the rug turned out nicely, but the rug wasn't quite ready by the date originally promised. Minor inconvenience as it was just before Thanksgiving.

G Fried not only performed the job as specified - they went out of their way to accommodate! I had rusty brass rods from previous carpet install. They offered to clean them for free and ended up replaced them free.

Andy and the team at G Fried were amazing! From the beginning we had the best experience with them. We shopped around at a few other carpet places, but G. Fried prices were by far the best. Andy even tried to cut cost wherever he could to help us out, since one room measured a lot larger than I initially estimated. We did three rooms - one we even saved a lot using a remnant (Andy's suggestion). Andy helped us pick the best quality carpet in our budget and because of his pricing, we were able to get a better quality for the same price that other companies were charging. One carpet was on backorder and Andy's team called regularly and was able to get the carpet a week earlier than anticipated. The installation team was great - cleaned up after themselves and was very professional and friendly. They even made us mats out of the excess carpet. G. Fried takes great care of their customers and were an absolute pleasure to work with. We will only use G. Fried from now on. Great company with outstanding service. Highly recommend - you wont be disappointed.

In both cases the scheduling was easy, the guys arrived exactly on-time, were courteous, efficient, and did an excellent job.

They called my cell so I didn't have to hang at home. Arrived on time. Friendly, professional and took all trash with them. They did a great job. Money well spent.

As it turns out, their installer was new and did an bad job. A thread got caught in my vacuum and caused a run in the carpet. I called Fried and they sent someone over to investigate. They agreed that it was their fault and replaced the entire carpet at no charge. I was not surprised by their responsiveness because I have been purchasing carpet from them for both my home and business for over 25 years and have always been happy. They've also made me some custom rugs and performed carpet cleaning. Good products at fair prices with excellent service

G. Fried picked up the carpet at my house on time. They cleaned it and also called and alerted me that they could not fully remove some stains from the carpet. They delivered the cleaned carpet to my house, on the arranged date. The carpet looked much better, but there were/are still shadows of the stains; but I was satisfied that they did their best to remove them.

Completely positive from beginning to end. Could not have been a smoother process.

The 2 guys who showed up did a great job & gave us very helpful tips on how too keep the carpet clean. They were also very knowledgeable about their job. Very pleasant experience!

Everyone that I dealt with in the store was fantastic. Unfortunately, the installers were 3 hours late.

G Fried Carpet & Design could not have been better. From the showroom experience (which has great selection), to the in-home estimates, to the carpet cleaning and stretching, and finally, our new stair runner installation (on all 4 stories of our townhouse), they were A+ all the way. You can tell that they have been in business for a long time for a reason - they are true professionals.

We struggled to find a reliable carpet installation company that carried more selection and had better service than the big box stores. We found G. Fried on Angie's List and went to see them. They were excellent. We purchased high quality, reasonably priced carpet, scheduled, steam cleaning of other carpet and stair runners and marble and granite clean/polish. Everyone was top-notch from the guy who carried my newly bound remnants to the car all the way up to the specialists who came to perform the actual work. Awesome!! VEry nice people, excellent service and they called later in the week to make sure we were happy. Will only use them in the future.

I made an appointment to drop off my area rug to be cleaned. It took about 3 weeks to get it done. I picked it up and when I put it down on the floor there was a strange orange stain on the rug and an area that was dirty was still very dirty. I wish they had told me there was a problem with cleaning this rug and maybe I would not have expected it to be clean.
