It was fine. They were a little more expensive than the person I ended up using. They were a little complicated in what they would do. The estimate was OK. The person was nice to deal with. It took a while to get the estimate.

They are very good. We use them for all our carpet. Their prices are good. The people that come to lay the carpets are very good. I would recommend them to anybody.

I have used them before and they are the best around New Jersey. They have been in business for like 25 to 30 years. Their service was good. Their installation was good. They were professional. There are not many carpet companies around. I haven?t had any problems with them. When I called them, they were great. The quality of their work was very good. There was another company that I used later on. I needed a stairway carpet this time and I got a wholesale one. So, I really didn?t care.

They are a little more expensive than others, but worth it. When I called Debbie gave me a 30% discount (there was a coupon on their website). They worked very hard, the truck is state of the art and the guys on the crew were true professionals. I had another national franchise company do my carpets a couple years ago and the experience was mediocre at best. These guys know what they are doing!

Roy and Sam took care of us from the very beginning, no sales pressure, very accommodating. Roy showed us lots of options for a basement recarpeting project. Sam personally came to the house to measure. The estimate was accurate and included all labor/installation. We opted for a small extra fee to have them remove the old carpet (~$150). For ~600 sq. feet we paid $2500 all in. Roy showed us a range of cheaper and more expensive options. We selected something in the mid-range. They were very accommodating of our schedule, even offering to do the job in two parts so that we could tile a small area. They communicated well and the installation appointment was kept. The men showed up on time and did a nice job installing the carpet. No hassles, no surprises. We were very pleased with G. Fried, particularly the lack of pressure, and the personable staff. Would recommend to anyone without reservation.

I called and explained that I had a stair runner that my husband was going to installed. He decided he could not install it. The owner was so nice. He said his installers were just finishing up for the day, he would have them call me. A minute later I received a call from the installer. He said he was almost done for the day, so if I wanted he could come in around an hour. He gave me a price over the phone; and in an hour he showed up. They installed the carpet. They even vaccumed to make it look perfect. It looks beautiful! It was such a pleasure dealing with them. I would highly recommend using them and definite would use them again!

It was done in two steps. The first cleaning was done in June or July and the second one was in August. It was about $200 a rug. They returned two rugs on July 15th and they charged me under $500. They were 9 by 12 Oriental rugs. So it was about $250 a piece. I then called them back to clean the other Oriental rug and they returned it on August 4th. It also had a smaller rug with it. That was about $200 to $250 ballpark. I chose them based on the consistently favorable recommendations they had online. I used them the first time and I called them back because they were friendly and prompt. Their prices were good compared to what I remember paying few years back. They didn?t do an outstanding job, but it was certainly satisfactory. They were certainly among the friendliest people I have dealt with. They were more than willing to work with me on a schedule that I needed to be able to get the carpets back so that I could leave on a vacation. I paid substantially more 10 years ago than what I paid the last time. I don?t know how to compare their quality since it has been really long. I hoped that the carpets would be cleaner and brighter, but I wasn?t sure about that. Their punctuality was excellent. I had no complaints about them. I had some concerns with something that wasn?t even their problem. There were a couple of areas on the rugs which were dingier than I expected, but it had been 10 years since they were cleaned. So it could probably be that it was something that couldn?t have been cleaned. I have one rug on which the stains have gone out and the stains have changed color, but I honestly didn?t expect them to be able to get those out. They came back and apologized profusely and said that they tried many times to clean it. So it was okay. It was worth a try to see what they could do. I would use their services in the future too.

Our experience with G Fried really could not have been better. At the store we were helped quickly and we were offered excellent choice. We knew generally what we wanted and we were given the information which we needed about pattern, materials, and cost, which allowed us to make our choice easily. Measurement and installation were carried out with professionalism and courtesy. I was particularly happy that G Fried does not contract out the installation. I was comfortable that they knew who came out to my home to install the carpeting. The installers couldn't have been more helpful or less intrusive. I encountered the best people from start to finish. We will definitely do our future flooring projects with G Fried.

They aren't cheap, but they do a magnificant job, and I would have them again and again. I am a true believer that you get what you pay for! The entire crew (which was the same both times I have used them) is very nice. They all remembered me and my 3 dogs!

Both the installer and the cleaning crew showed up at the time promised and did a very professional job.

They did a great job. They were a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for because they are worth every penny.

They were excellent. I was shocked that they ere able to correct the problem as well as they did.

They wonderful. I used them because of Angie's List. The girl in the office is a sweetheart. Even the men who were here were wonderful. They moved furniture for us and were very accomadating. They were lovely.

My experience was very good at this store. They have a good selection and great prices. They also have custom runners and they do beautiful custom work. I also have noticed that they do not overprice their carpet. The staff was very friendly and helpful as we decided the carpet we were going to purchase. When they delivered the carpet, they kept me informed about when I was to expect them at my home. I would use this company again in the future.

The estimate was given freely, and when we mentioned that we had learned of them from Angies list they offered a discount. They do have a minimum charge, but with the area to be cleaned we met that minimum. We compared their price with others and although they were not the least expensive, the were within $10 to $20 of other vendors. The day they provided the service we found a 25% off coupon in the newspaper, which would have been greater than the Angies list discount, they accepted the 25% off offer and made the adjustment on the bill for the lower amount.

Very well - they did an excellent job. I'm not sure, however, whether the job was done at a reasonable price, because I did not research any other companies.

We had a 20-year-old Oriental rug that looked pretty good except for dirty fringe and it had never been cleaned. I took it to G. Fried, which is close to my home based on Angie's list. The store is beautiful, the employees were responsive and helpful. I brought the carpet in and an employee quickly brought it in from the car. An employee called me when it was ready. The carpet, including the fringe, looks good as the day we bought it.

Gave me estimate over the phone and scheduled work for later that week. Workman arrived on time and were able to get some very old stains out of carpet. There were a few spots that did not come out which I expected would. Customer service called the next day to see how it went, and I mentioned the remaining spots. She sent the team back the next day to try to remove the remaining spots, which still could not be completely removed.
