The service was incredible. They were very nice and did a very good job. The quality was top of the line. They were a little expensive but they gave me 30 percent off so it was competitive.

They were great! It started when I called to make the appointment: even on the phone it was obvious I was dealing with people who care about what they do. I had been given a window of time in which they would arrive, two men showed up near the beginning of that window. They walked around, assessed the work, measured the areas, explained what they were going to do and how, then priced the job. They immediately set themselves up and got to work. Pretreating stains, then deep cleaning all the carpets. Anything that I had not moved out of the way, they moved. In each room there were things that I wanted them to work around - nothing was a problem. They were done in about an hour and a half. They gave me some instructions and were gone ... as were those old remaining stains from long ago! Aside from some smaller things which are still off to the side -- and my freshly cleaned carpet -- there is no evidence that they were here working this morning.

On time, professional, courteous, and superb work.

The two guys were on time and finished the job on time. However, I never know that the soiled foot prints in foam were from oil from skin and footprints.

Their crew arrived on time, went over pricing prior to cleaning. Very personable, professional, and took great care with my furnishings. Extremely pleased with the service received.

They are very good. It was a positive experience, the only thing is that they miscalculated the cost. I don't think it was a dishonest mistake. The work was very good. They did what they said they would do.

The job was good, although it takes some time to get the job done. I bought the carpet on August 8, 2011 and it was not installed until September 15, 2011. So if you need faster service you must state that when you order. I never thought of it, because it's usually 2 weeks not over a month..

Finding the right rug and the right company to install it is not an easy thing. We researched various product lines and companies as well as different retailers in the field. In our case we wanted both a quality, environmentally friendly wool rug and cushion because of a family member who had asthma and other serious health concerns, as well as the expertise to do it right the first time. We chose G. Fried and Carpet Design. More than one year later, we can say conclusively that it was the right choice on all accounts. Sam Levine, the owner, is a veritable expert in the field with decades of experience. His son, Andy, is an intelligent and accommodating leader of the group whose desire to help and meet the customer's needs makes a potentially aggravating experience a very rewarding one. The work is done on time as promised and is professional in every respect. The price is fair and every attempt is made to explain all the details and challenges ahead of time so that there are no unpleasant surprises. Furthermore, they stay in touch so that you are never left wondering what's going or fretting over a problem that isn't answered in a timely fashion. The last point is one of the most important: the quality of the installation. No matter what, nothing works in the long run unless the rugs are put down properly. The crew assigned to our job was superlative. Furniture was moved carefully and put back in the same way. Special requests were handled properly. Time was taken to do the work right because they took pride in what they were doing. Their work was neat and clean. Their attitudes were always courteous and helpful. Our experience indicates that G. Fried does stand behind its services and products and we certainly recommend them to all who ask.

They came and did their job properly, and I was fine with it; there was nothing special. The price was fine too. Their professionalism and friendliness were good. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Everything went fine. From picking out carpet in the showroom, to the measuring in my home to the install. No problems, I would recommend.

After stopping in a several stores-I came upon G. Fried--it was last on my list! I walked in and knew immediately that this was my place. Sam, the owner greeted me and walked me through every step. He did not try to sell me the most expensive carpet--but really one that would suit me best. He helped me with color selection and answered avery question thoroughly and politely.The installers came today and did a very beautiful job. They were neat, courteous and careful with my furniture-they had to move everything-so I had prepared by not having anything little and meaningful in their way.This was an excellent shopping experience. It was through one of the big deals and the price was according to that. They did a very good job. They were very thorough and did an excellent job. I didn’t have any complaints at all. I would recommend them. I knew that they sold carpets, but I wasn’t aware that they did carpet cleaning. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

The men arrived as scheduled; they are friendly and courteous, and did an outstanding job. These men have been with the company for a long time and are always very good. Also, Lucy's service is the best!!!!

They came out very timely. They had all the information ready for me when I went to see them. Their prices were a little bit higher. I got an estimate from another company but I have not made a final decision yet. I actually hired them to do the cleaning of our upholstery which came out very well and they were very reasonable at that. The upholstery work went great. We weren't even here when they came; they took care of everything and put everything back the way it was. The chairs came out very well. There was only problem that we had and I could not resolve with them. They had taken some screws off from a drawer when they came and the hinge was lost. We had to call them and I am still waiting hear back on that.

As usual, they were on time, very neat as they worked & finished the job in record time (1 hour 15 minutes). This is the 3rd or 4th time, I have used them & the service continues be outstanding. I even recognized the cleaners from last time. Lucy who handle the scheduling is awesome in follow – up & client services.

We chose them because I am Estyn's mother and they had done carpet installation for me. I recommended them to her. They were very easy to deal with. We have no complaints. They are local and so it was convenient for them to come and for me to go to their store. I don't know whether they were the cheapest but they were certainly not the most expensive.

Had the rug cleaned but still found a great deal of dirt after the rug was "cleaned" and returned. We had used G Fried in the past and were pleased. This experience was very disappointing.
