everything went well. i went to a few carpet places but didn't get estimates but g fried was by far the nicest and most helpful. their showroom is great with a lot of selections. after getting an estimate and measuring in my home, they came out to my house 3-4 weeks after the initial store visit. the carpets look great and their service / communication was top notch. the price was a little more than i budgeted but with something as my front stairs to enter the house, i wanted quality over saving a few dollars.

Staff, arrived on time and referenced cleaning from the year before to determine price. They were efficient and very nice. I have used them over and over again for the last ten years and will continue.

Two men came to clean carpet. They were very nice and professional. They arrived on time and explained process. The service is based on cleaning 300 sq. ft. of carpet. The price was higher than others, but they moved furniture and cleaned the carpet almost wall to wall (did not move tv). They also said my room was not quite 300 ft so they cleaned a runner and would have also cleaned another small area rug if I had wanted them to. All in all a positive experience.

We hired them for wall to wall carpet installation in our building, as well as a few upholstery cleaning jobs. They were great from A to Z! On time, wonderful service, great quality and fantastic value! Will always recommend them to anyone!

G. Fried returned my call within the next day. The lady at G. Fried gave me a price...you need to tell them that you're a member ofAngie's List, for a discount. It seem that their price is based on the size of the rugs. We agreed on a time for pick-up. They were on time. My husband had rolled the rugs up, beforehand, so it was easy to carry. The man picked up my rugs on time. About two weeks later, I received a call from G. Fried, that my rugs were ready. We schedule a time to have them delivered. The men helped with placing my rugs in the dinning and living room. Very professional and cordial.

The crew called me-they were running early.They explained everything, measured and quoted job. Put furniture on boxes, cleaned carpet. Excellent job. Would definitely recommend!

The Store has an incredible array of options for carpet. The sales person listened to our coments and recommended exactly the options we needed. He made the whole selection process very easy. The same person came out to the house to take measurements and he then gave us an exact quote and delivery timeframe. All installation was done like clockwork and the guys were very efficient. The place looked beautiful afterward and installation was flawless. All extra pieces we got to keep and they even cut them as we needed. They did not nickel and dime us on any of it. Well worth the price paid.

The same team came to home to discuss work, give estimate and perform service. They were on schedule, professional and did high quality work.

Within 48 hours of my initial visit to the store, they were at my condo for a measurement. I place an order couple days later and the carpeting was installed with 2 1/2 weeks. The installation took about five hours and I only had to remove breakables from shelves and pictures from walls. They moved all furniture and put it back in its original location. I would definitely use them again.

They came on time. They were veryu responsible and avery neat job.

Went looking for flooring and looked on Angie's List. Thought these forlks at G. Fried might do that too. Even though we were initially looking for something else, we dicided it would be quicker and we would be more happy and spend less with carpet replacement. Salesman also said that they used to do flooring, but since they couldn't control the results as well using subcontractors, they got out of that business. Even though we hoped to get installed right away, they told us that the procurement process would take a few weeks. From that point on, everything was exactly on schedule from measuring through instalation. Professionals at every turn, carpet looks great and was done perfectly. If needed, we would go back there.

When we first entered the G. Fried store, we were still in the research phase of shopping for new carpeting. Roy Kwait immediately greeted us with a friendly smile and patiently showed us our various options pointing out the benefits of each after we explained the look and feel we wanted. The listed prices were a bit higher than we had seen at other carpet retailers, but Roy was able to work with us a little on the price, and his professionalism plus G.Fried's overall reputation won us over. We were about to close on a house that was in dire need of some cosmetic upgrades and were hoping to get the carpets in before moving in with the furniture, so we were on a very tight schedule. At first, it appeared that we would not be able to locate our first choice of carpeting within our needed time-frame, however Roy managed to work some magic and came through for us. The installers were punctual and moved easily around the painters we also working in the house at the same time. One bonus for us was that since it was such a large job, the installers removed the old carpets a few days early which allowed for my husband to take care of any squeeky floor boards before the new carpets went in. The installation was completed on time in less than two days and the carpet looks fabulous. Overall , working with G. Fried was a pleasant experience and I would highly reccomend them.

Went by the store twice to select carpet for both areas. The staff (and owner) were great. Everyone was totally helpful and nice, and also quite patient as it took my wife and I quite a while to pick out the right carpets. For installation, the company worked with us to get the carpets installed prior to when we had company visiting. All in all, a great experience.

They are a little pricey but they did a good job.

They were timely, friendly and very professional..they were also FAST. Would definitely use them again
