It went very well. Once we established a start date they started and finished on schedule. Weather also cooperated extremely well. While on the job one neighbor and a Real Estate salesman left their info for an estimate.

Very Well!!! Andres and his crew were the best. The work they did was impeccable and they took great care to cover all areas that could have been affected by the sanding. They cleaned up after themselves each day and did not leave a mess. Andres is so meticulous that he went above and beyond to power wash the house so that the surface that was painted would be as clean as possible. Do yourself a favor, hire AMC Painting for all of your painting needs as you will not be disappointed with the quality of their work.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the services provided by AMC Painting. Andres, in particular, stayed on top of the project and ensured that there was timely delivery. He went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service and also helped us with miscellaneous issues. I'd totally recommend Andres to my friends and family - and we ourselves would use his services again!

Pros: We had a single point of contact and he was always very responsive both before and during the entire process. He was always professional and checked in regularly. They covered the floors and furniture while working. It was a new home with minimal furniture in the home. They completed the job on the day specified in the contract which was important to us since we had other service providers scheduled to come in once they were done. The paint job itself was done well. We chose to use high quality Benjamin Moore paints and were happy with the end result. We felt like we were in good hands during the process. Cons: Once we settled into the house, I notcied a few things that bothered me, like drips on some of the doors. shelves that were not attached to the bookshelf after being taken out but, placed away where I may not notice it or a light plate that were placed on the wall without screw. I got a sense that they may have wrapped up in a hurry. These things are minor and I may have usually not minded especially if they had just told me instead of masking them. For the price we paid I would have liked more attention to details with putting the house back together when the job was completed. The paint job seems sensitive to knicks like when you lean a mirror against the wall but, I don't know what to attribute this to. This was my first time hiring professional painters so, I don't have much to compare this experience to. Overall, all things considered, I was happy with the service they provided.

Andres was very responsive and professional from the very beginning. He came to the house within 48 hours to and provided a complete quote very shortly thereafter. The quote was competitive with others that were provided. We have a very difficult neighbor that requires a lot when it comes to the insurance documentation before allowing any ladders on her property. Andres was incredibly patient with providing her all of the details that she required so that we could move forward. The actual day of the painting, his crew took the time to cover any cars in the near proximity with plastic in the event that the wind carried the spray too far. They worked very fast and neat. I would highly recommend him and his crew and we will use them again in a heartbeat!

So happy we decided to go with Andres from AMC Painting. They were always punctual and always cleaned up when they were done for the day. They did an amazing job turning my house from a yellow to a lovely sage. We have gotten many compliments from our neighbors. Andres was kind enough to send me pictures during the whole process so I could see what was going on. We recommend them to others and use them whenever we need work done.

Andres provided a very competitive price for interior painting and even included handyman work which would involve fixing the closet door and installing and mounting two medicine cabinets through the wall. On the day of painting, he came with two of his workers. The whole process of 2 coat painting took about 3 days and at the end, all painting materials were cleaned out perfectly. Best thing about Andres was his open-mindedness . I've met other painters who itemized and counted every single items one by one but andrea was flexible and was willing to make small compromises to make customers happy. I now have an exterior painting with him and I will write another review for exterior. Should everything go well with interior and exterior, I would consider hiring him again for painting my tenants room and basement.

Andres and his friend painted my matter bedroom and another bedroom. I have new flooring that was just refinished and they made sure it stayed protected. They also made my walls look brand spankin new. They left my rooms clean. Great job!

It was great. We scheduled it that way so there was no delay on their part. They had a tough job covering the red paint. It's not perfect but they did it quickly which was great.

I was impressed right from the beginning by the professionalism shown to me. I made several phone calls to Andres, and he always returned my calls. I could tell immediately that I could work with him. He and his partner showed up exactly when promised and I was impressed by the way they sealed each room off to prevent any sanding dust from spreading throughout the rest of the rooms. They also draped plastic over the kitchen cabinets to protect them, and covered all the furniture. I didn't see ANY paint on the rugs or wooden floors, or even on my varnished moldings. I appreciated the help Andres gave me in determining the color choices. I made a bad choice of color for the bathroom, but Andres came back the following week exactly when he promised to repaint with another color which was perfect. I couldn't believe the entire upstairs of my home was painted in only four days, and all the furniture and even the curtains were put back exactly the way they were. I didn't have to go around and vacuum the rooms because of the care they took in keeping the dust down to an absolute minimum, especially in the kitchen. The estimate was definitely in line with the other estimates I received, but decided to go with AMC solely based on the excellent reviews here, on Angie's List. Glad I did! I would not hesitate to do business with them again! PS- you really CAN believe the other great reviews here for AMC.

I recently got my stairs sanded and finished by flooring guys but they do not have painting license. So I had to hire a painter to paint the risers and side stringers. I had a two days gap between the time stairs were done by flooring folks and the day when carpet runner was to be installed - this is when I had to get the stairs painted. Utilized Angieslist project find utility to find out who all can do and since job is pretty straight forward, I got quotes over phone and Andres too gave a quote on phone but wanted to personally visit once - which he did at a very convenient time for us. When I met him, I knew I will go with him - I know - I am not a person to judge a book by the cover but I based my decision on his approach to get the deal and of course reviews. He is not the cheapest one there but I didn't negotiate much as I give more value to work being done diligently than saving me few $$. On the schedule day and time Andres came with a helper and they together painted all the risers, stringers and along the way fixed drywall imperfections like protruding steel casing, caulking the gap between riser and tread etc. On completion of job he cleaned up well and whole task was completed in around 2 hours. While Andres brought his own material he is a tad expensive than other quotes I got. That said, I will still go with him for future paint jobs. (I worked with a variety of painters in last 5 years and this guy is good!)

Arrived right on time. Very satisfied with job and clean up. Was very professional, and did a great job.

The provider was punctual and went right to work. He arrived at 8:30 am and was finished by 11:30. He painted a small bedroom with 2 coats of paint and did the same for the ceiling. The room looks beautiful! He was neat, fast, and personable. I paid seperate for the ceiling because it was another color and the charge was extremely reasonable. All in all, a great experience.

Andres was great to work with. He responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He arrived promptly and his estimate was the most reasonable out of the 3 that we received. I don't always go with the lowest price, but was impressed that Andres would be here for the entire time instead of sending other employees as other painters wanted to do. Andres and his assistant arrived on time and proceeded to cover everything in plastic including my kitchen cabinets and fridge. They moved all our furniture and made liberal use of drop cloths. They were the neatest, cleanest painters I have ever met. They finished in less than 2 days and the result was beautiful. I highly recommend them, and will definitely use them again for future painting projects.

AMC was excellent! Andres showed up right on time, we briefly went over what needed to be done, and he got right to work. A few hours later, he was done, including prep work, two coats of paint for all aspects of the job, and cleanup. I am a bit of a perfectionist, so i carefully reviewed his work before he left, and could not find a single thing I wanted him to correct. His cleanup was excellent as well- not even a speck of garbage, dust or debris to be found. I'm already talking to him about a next project to do. I highly recommend!

it went very well , on time for everything ,very honest ,we chose our color from store together ,give us many samples to try ,give us the time to decide about the color , and fix a lot of damaged woods underneath the exterior ,very professional work and really amazing job .

Andrés came recommended from a friend in Ho-ho-kus, where he had managed a significant exterior painting project. My project was a worst case scenario: my house hadn't been painted in years. I called Andrés. I liked him right away. Found him responsive. He gave me a very fair price for the work that was required. I liked his team of people, his manner. In fact, I enjoyed all of my dealings with him. He was straightforward, helpful, professional and friendly. My house turned out great and I receive compliments regularly and have given out AMC Painting cards to many neighbors who have asked for it, after witnessing the transformation.

Arrive on time both when giving me the quote but on the day of work; worked noiselessly and created no mess. Pleasant person with excellent manners. Completed the painting in record time. I asked for a quote on another job and will use this person in the future on other rooms which need to be painted. An excellent find for me at this time.

Andres did an absolutely amazing job! He showed up early and immediately got to work. He was very knowledgeable about his craft and accomodating with last minute painting decisions. We could not have asked for a better painting professional. He put two coats of paint up and worked carefully, but in a timely fashion. He had great rates and also gave free estimates on our questions for additional projects around the house. I would definitely recommend him.

cant rave enough. Andre from AMC met with me the week before and discussed expectations based on his analysis. The day of the painting there were no surprises nor plan changes etc. He went right to work and it is as if he wasnt even around. He worked quietly and mindful of existing home furnishings to not damage things. Extremely professional and the quality of service performed was spot on! Would I use AMC/Andre again? In a fast heartbeat!

Great to know there are still special contractors out here that work the old fashioned way. As in pride in the ir work.. The owner is an artist and perfectionist. If they don't know how to do it no one does. On time every day. Cleaned and covered as they work.ed Our family and building is better than we expected. I'd give them 6 stars.
