It was a very positive experience since Frank responded quickly to my phone call, listened to what we wanted done, offered suggestions and then completed the work in a very convenient and timely manner. The crew that came to do the work was punctual, courteous and very professional.

The owner, Frank, was extremely professional and attentive. He?s very knowledgeable, pleasant to work with, and it seems like he really cares about what he does. He?s great about staying in touch, both while we were planning the project and also to follow up after the job was done. We weren?t looking for anything major, just wanted to spruce up a few things to get the house ready to go on the market, and he was very helpful with suggestions. He did not try to up-sell me at all and even told me that a couple of things I was thinking of would not be worth doing just for resale purposes. I can't really comment on his prices since I did not shop around to compare, but it seemed very reasonable to me. The work we had done involved rerouting a downspout, improving a basement window well and some re-grading to fix a damp basement issue. He also replaced some shrubs. I highly recommend Almost Perfect. I wish I weren?t moving out of the area so that I could use them again!

Frank contacted me less than a day after I submitted a request for a quote. We discussed what I needed done, ran through options and I sent photos and measurements. Almost a hundred and fifty feet by 2 and half feet of dead or dying grass. Again, Frank got right back to me and we discussed the photos and confirmed what was to be done. Since I have a corner lot there was quite a bit of area to cover. He emailed me an estimate, I gave the go ahead and the work was completed within 3 days of initial contact. It's nice to have green instead of brown in my lawn again.

Frank is a very professional person and went above and beyond to ensure that he came back and checked on the lawn and did corrective steps when there were some issues with some patches appearing.

I contacted this person based upon the GREAT reviews he had on Angie's list. I chatted with the person last year and then this Aug hired him for a consultation.- $125. My problem is I have water pooling in my back yard area. We chatted on the phone while he looked around. My handyman went around with him. A few days later I emailed to see what his suggestions were. He only reiterated what ideas I already had in mind. I.E. regrade the driveway and actually suggested I put some 4 by 4's in the back area to block the water, and keep my gutters and drains clean. That was it, no written report. I emailed back and said.. I had actually expected a bit more from a professional consultation and as he is a landscaper, maybe some suggestions on regrading soil, etc.. and that I did not think putting 4 x 4s in the back of my house was going to look especially good. He came back and then said I could use Belgian block. That was it. I got an invoice for $150. I said that was not the agreed upon price and then I got an invoice for $125 plus 7% sales tax. Of course the invoice does not list a tax number for the sales tax he is charging. Really very, very disappointed. If I hire a professional and pay them I would have expected something more. I have several homes and have never had any one who was paid for a consult perform so badly. I have to wonder about the other GREAT reviews.

Frank has been an absolute joy to work with, he's extraordinarily responsive and always displayed the utmost professionalism. He went out of his way to look at the work and seems to truly love his work. Our garden is blooming and our yard looks wonderful. I will absolutely use Almost Perfect again and highly recommend their services.

He also went above and beyond in getting our landscaping needs done with very short notice (we had been working with another landscaping company who flaked on us). We had a great experience with Almost Perfect Landscaping. I called them on a Monday and by Tuesday they had already done the job. We had lots of weeds and overgrown plants. They not only cleaned everything up but they planted flowers as a bonus! It was wonderful working with them. They are also pretty reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

I have been searching for 9 years for a lawn maintenance company that would perform a complete maintenance program. All the other companies I called, either did not show up for the appointment, did not return the phone call, or were only interested in mowing the lawn and not doing what I consider maintaining the property. I found Almost Perfect Landscaping online. I called his office and was able to schedule an appointment to meet with Frank. Frank showed up on time, very professional and immediately offered information to me. Now some of this information was not for his financial benefit, it was offered to provide insight as to what I needed to do. He directed me to call certain companies that could help with the large trees in my yard that have been pecked by Woodpeckers or my front tree that seems to have a fungus within its trunk. We discussed the services I was interested in beginning immediately. Frank scheduled his team of "very professional men" to come to my house the following week. I am absolutely thrilled!!! My landscaping was neglected for over 12 months, so you can only imagine what it looked like. Frank's men mowed my lawn, weeded all my flower beds and have my property looking magnificient, and this was only his initial visit. Frank called me the next morning to make sure I was happy with the work of his company. I am looking forward to many, many years of Almost Perfect Landscaping maintaining my property.

Our property was overgrown and needed a significant amount of work, not to mention the removal of several dead trees lost during last year's winter. Almost Perfect Landscaping's owner, Frank, was just fantastic. He called me back the same day and had the work done in one day. It was just an amazing transformation. Frank's crew is professional and hard working men and I would highly recommend Almost Landscaping for any of your needs.

We've used Almost Perfect for our weekly landscaping needs, and winter snow removal services for years. But recently, we decided to put in a Generator. Frank's team came in and prepared the area where the generator will be installed-it needed to be leveled off significantly, as well as having various established shrubs removed. They also installed underground gutters so that rain no longer collects at the base of our garage. While they were getting these items done, we discussed the condition of my driveway. While we were gone on vacation they repaired the cracks, leveled off the driveway, and sealed it. We came home to a gorgeous new driveway. Frank's teams are always extremely professional and he responds quickly and efficiently. Frank comes out himself to view the job so that he knows exactly who to send and can explain the job with the detail required to do it right the first time. They are a great business to work with!!!

We were interested in having someone come in to clean up the yard for a new home we had just purchased. Frank contacted me immediately and came to the property to assess in order to give me an estimate. He was very friendly and helpful-even provided some ideas for us to consider in the future. The team was a little late based on the time that was advised but they made up for it! Frank advised the team prior to their arrival of what had to be done and they went right to work. We are amazed at the work they did and how great everything looks now! They did a fantastic job and we felt that this was worth every penny-for the clean up of the backyard, front yard, all around the perimeter of the yard and mulch.

Frank Porter and his crew were fantastic. They were very curteous, careful and thorough. Frank was very interested in what I needed and listened carefully. He returned all my calls and he was also very proactive with his calls. First, he asked me for photos and then came out to see the garden. He had another job here in town and thought he could combine the jobs. He told me he could probably come out and do the job on July 12. A couple of days after seeing the garden, he gave me an estimate and stuck to it. The estimate was very fair. He also showed up when he said he would show up. The work was beautiful. I am very picky and very detailed and so was Frank. I cannot speak highly enough of him and his crew. I look forward to using them again. I know I'm in good hands.

He was consistently professional in all the services I asked him to provide. As a result I have used his services for twenty years. He is very responsive and has taken care to respond to my various requests over the years. I would highly recommend this provider.

I contacted Frank in May regarding having work done in my back yard. After talking to him, and sending pictures of my back yard regarding my vision, I was told that I would get an estimate a few days later. After not hearing from him for about 20 +days, I get a phone call telling me, at the end, that he can't do my job. So, because my job included a deck I wondered if he could do part of it. After a few days of missed calls, on my part, he says that because he has other jobs in the area, he can possibly complete mine as well. Since buying my home, I have dealt with a number of companies that have made me feel like my business was wanted and appreciated until now. What a shame!!

Frank is reliable and easy to get a hold of. Pricing is fair given the quality of work. I've had cheaper quotes and landscapers, but you always lose reliability. Almost Perfect is worth the cost, and it's not the highest or close to it.

Frank Porter, the owner of the company, was very professional. When asked to give the original estimate he advised what he suggested I get done now, what I might want to consider eventually, and things he suggested I leave alone. There was absoulutely no upselling which was great. Since then I have been using him for maintaining the lawn. Property looks the best it ever has. I stongly recommend Frank and his team.

Great! Frank is by far the most punctual and responsive contractor we've had to date. He's been constantly in communication with us on every step, has rearranged his schedule to accommodate ours. It was a terrific experience. I hired Frank and his crew because they had opinions and ideas, and a point of view on how our property could be improved. They'd done work for a close friend, and I was amazed at what they did to his yard. Our yard has been completely landscaped for over a decade, and was starting to decay, become overgrown, and had lost its organization. Frank, Martine and their crew heard our ideas, and took control from there. If I could have done myself, I would have, so we watched as they transformed our already interesting yard, into a lush paradise. They organized the entire property, fixed all the flowerbeds, relocated specimen trees that were failing, and created a fresh new look for our outside environment. It was not a cheap proposition, but you do in fact get what you pay for much of the time, especially when it comes to landscape design and execution. There are posers, and then there are true professionals with opinions and a vision. I'be been disappointed with every other landscaper we've used over the years, and finally, we have someone we can count on. The crew has been together for almost 20 years, and it shows. This is clearly not the norm in the landscaping business, where people change jobs every month. Like the long time musical group that sounds tight and musical all the time, this crew has collective instincts, and executes with precision. Finally, I can strongly recommend Frank, Martine and Almost perfect unconditionally. They just did a fantastic job!!

They do a very nice, neat job and we're very satisfied with them. After they cut the lawn and everything, they use a blower to blow all the grass, a weed whacker, too. And its very nice and neat. I think we would continue using them as our primary landscaper.

Frank was perfectly happy to respond to my proposals, but when I had nothing to offer except a desire to have everything look better, he knew what to do. "This has to go, these can be used in the back. Here are my recommendations for new plantings. This can stay. That tree won't ever recover. That drain needs to be extended underground and empty in the back." Crew showed up early and worked hard every day into evening. Digging out a stump after tree removal. Pulling ivy vines out of the yard.

We called three landscapers for estimates and Frank responded the quickest- within 24 hours. The other landscapers returned our calls three days after the initial request. Although he was slightly higher than the other two estimates we were extremely pleased with his presentation and knowing exactly what we wanted and needed. We were preparing the property to sell. Frank called and emailed to inform when his crew would arrive and they arrived promptly, and completed all the work as promised. What truly impressed us with Frank was that he wanted to know that we were 100% satisfied with the work before paying him. We made some small adjustments which he quickly responded. Frank was excellent in returning both calls and emails within a very reasonable time. The crew of about 5-6 seemed to be experienced and each worked their specific jobs with diligence. After the work was completed we decided to use Frank to maintain our property until it is sold. I will highly recommend that the Buyer continue to use his service. The only criticism is the company's name- ALMOST PERFECT. His work ethic, responsiveness, and crew were 100% PERFECT. I used Angie's List to find him and we pleased we used Almost Perfect.
