They completely ignored my request to adjust vents and flow inside the house and overcharged me for freon which they claimed to be R22 (was a refill tank with no markings) They charged me $160 per lbs!!!

The tech was there for 10 minutes gave no information or description of the type of work that was being performed. We were charged an insane amount to just refill the Freon. No maintenance or cleaning was done to the condenser unit despite this being a “service” call. Will never hire or recommend and I am considering filling a complaint with the BBB.

They just did the A/C check.

Good work. Minor issue he did not have enough refrigerant for AC and had to return the next day. Both days he was later than expected but it was not an emergency service.

Good quality work and friendly service. Mark even took the time to show me some things I could do myself to improve the performance of the AC unit. The only minor issue was scheduling, but I did not have an emergency and it was not a big deal. Also, they called to let me know what was going on. I would definitely recommend Air Quest Technologies and will call them in the future for any HVAC projects. Thank you.

We were well pleased with Air Quest Technologies. They called each time to let us know they were on the way. We were having problems getting our old heating system to kick on and there was a lot of rattling. When Mark from Air Quest arrived he explained the problems with our 40 year old system and showed my husband everything. He gave us a fair quote for work that needed to be done and also for a new system. We opted to go with a new, more efficient system and he went over and above in installing the new unit and also in dealing with some other issues we had at no extra charge. Air Quest Technologies was AMAZING. I would recommend them to my friends and family. I just moved into my house and my heating system kept turning on and off. I had two other companies come to the house and all they stated it was old and the repairs would be costly therefore, needs to be replaced. Air Quest's mechanic took the time to check my system made a small adjustment and stayed to make sure it was working properly. To my surprise I was only charge the service call fee, even though the mechanic sent a lot of time explaining to me everything in detail. This company is reliable, punctual and has great customer. service.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE AFTER THE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD. I do not usually take the time to write reviews except for exceptional service (OR) really bad service and in this case it is the latter. I hope my review will help you in NOT making the same mistake I made in hiring this company. I am sending a formal letter to Home Advisor to de-list them as well as BBB as notification. I will re-post this review on a regular basis, every couple of weeks so it does not get lost and people are made aware. I recently moved into the Cliffside Park area and since I bought a home wanted to identify a Heating/ Cooling contractor whom I could call in case of an emergency. 1) First try with this company “Air Quest Technologies.”, for a Basic Service Call was a DISASTER. If they had done their job on the service call I would not have had the emergency a week later. My family travelled here from India and they were made to suffer the cold for a few days due to this company NOT doing their job and even better gouging me for money. On the basic service call, guy comes in, looked at the heating/ cooling units and said these need NOT be serviced. They run for tens of years and do not require servicing. He did not even turn them on but since I was using the cooling I knew the cooling system was working fine. Having done nothing, AND I mean absolutely NOTHING he demanded for $130 and would not leave my home until I paid up. Imagine if this were my wife or parents having to deal with this instead. A week later when I turned on the heat it would not work. Absolutely nothing…So, why did this guy show-up for a Basic Service Call and what did he do? 2) Now is when it gets better, I called them back again and left a message BUT DID NOT STATE the issue from the first time. I got a call back later in the evening with a lady being extremely accommodating to try and get someone to my place right away “Since it was in the evening I am sure they will have come up with some sort of an Overtime/ Emergency fee”. I told her it would wait until the next day but then explained they had come out and serviced my home already and they should have identified this issue etc., She said she would definitely look into it the next morning and call me back. Absolutely did NOT hear back from her or the company. I called back a few times, left messages etc., and NO CALL-BACK. Apparently, I had been black-listed by Air Quest. 3) No one took responsibility for what happened and they basically blocked my calls when I called them about it. Absolutely Nothing. I had to use a company called Quick Cooling & Heating to get my heating system fixed and they did a great job! They are on Home Advisor as well.

Every time I hire outside Home Advisor I get screwed. Air Quest was excellent on price ,response, and taking charge of a two year old Trane A/C under warranty for parts only. The people that installed it gave me a huge price to replace a compressor an recharge and install swap. It was almost the price of a new A/C. Air Quest also showed me why the unit failed due to the wrong freon and the converter. The owner of the company did all the work and the system runs much better than the install from the original company , not on Home Advisor.

Air Quest Technologies provided timely and satisfactorily service. They responded promptly to my request for service. They sent a knowledgeable technician who diagnosed the problems and gave me options. I chose one that suits my requirements and he worked on it. On the day of installation/repair, he dedicated the whole day to install, repair and successfully run my central AC. All in all, I am satisfied with the service and I would defiantly recommend Air Quest Technologies to friends and neighbors.

They called ahead of time to confirm and arrived on time. Mark and George did a great job. Mark seems to be very knowledgeable and with vast experience. They went beyond the scope of work to get it done correctly. The price was exactly what was estimated initially even with a couple of extra things they did. Highly recommended!

Air Quest offers quick and friendly HVAC services. Mark and George did a great job fixing and tweaking my AC rooftop units. They have an average hourly pricing but you get a great knowledgeable company that backs their work.

Mark was great. He did a very good job. I have a very old system that was not cooling my home properly. After the discussion I have with him, I have decided to have a new system installed. He listen to all my questions and recommend a system that fits my budget. Mark is very professional, courteous, knowledgeable & explain everything that need to be done. He was very responsive for all my requests. I highly recommend Mark & would definitely higher him again. Thank you!
