It went pretty good while installing liner. Now that liner has settled, there is so many wrinkles, that catch dirt and algae.

We started to fill the pool and prior to the water even getting near the steps, the rust started bleeding through the paint on the stair. We called the company and were told that someone would be out that week. Two weeks later we finally got ahold of them (they were not taking our calls) by calling from a different number. They agreed to send someone out only when we agreed to pay an additional fee for the repair of $175.00. Two men came out, they chipped away some of the concrete and patched it, saying they would return in a couple days to paint the repair once the concrete dried. We asked that they just leave some paint and we would paint it when it dried. The repairman said no, that wasn't necessary, they were paid for the job so they would be back, he also said that he really needed to fix the wavey paint line at the top edge of the pool. HA!!! We foolishly gave them the check for the extra work. It was mid August before we were able to reach someone again after calls at least every other day. They were supposed to come back while we were on vacation to paint the repair and also to run a straight line along the top, which looked like it was painted by a child, not a professional. When we came back at the end of August, no one had been there and we began calling again. We were given excuses that they had ordered the paint and it had not come in. Finally, in October when no one would pick up our calls, my husband went to Buud's pools, purchased white pool paint and painted it himself. So the project began in the beginning of July and in October we had to finish it ourselves. The entire summer went by and we were unable to use our pool even once. They were cheaper than the other quotes, now we know why. Buyer beware. On my last phone call to them, I even told them that if they weren't there in a week, I would be contacting Angie's List to give my review. Clearly they didn't care.
Description of Work: Tri County Pools was supposed to acid wash pool and water line tille and repair and seal rust spot at the hand rail and stair. They originally came when scheduled and acid washed pool. They were unable to clean the tiles, so they suggested painting them. They painted pool and told us we could fill in a few days. There was never any sealer put on the tiles, and when questioned, was told it was not necessary with that paint. I have serious doubts whether the paint will hold up on the tile, time will tell.

Not too good, first off we were dealing with them since May 20th 2014 and the installation finally happened on July 11th & 12th. They were recommended to me by a friend that used another pool company but subbed the work to Tri County. Bill the owner was supposed to meet me at my house at 4:00 one afternoon and never showed up, his installer showed up at 9:30 pm and tried to give me his personal number to get the work done, after a few days and many calls to Bill a new secretary called to tell me that thier computers had been down and that that installer no longer worked for them. I then requested Bill to come out to see the job, he did and we never heard back about a price. In June my wife called a number of pool installers and thats when they called me back as if they never heard of us before. We finally set a June 30th installation date in which no show no call. Then they were supposed to come on July 2nd but he called me at 9:30 am to tell me that his Bobcat was broken and would keep me posted, they finaly showed up on July 11th to start the job. I must say that his installers were great, they worked thier butts off in the heat to get the job done by Sat the 12th. We enjoyed the pool for the rest of the summer but in late August we could see and feel the pool braces showing through the liner, when I called Bill he said this was common and that he would take care of it by draining the pool and putting more sand under the liner. He asked if we were using the pool still and I said yes, he said no problem I'll take care of it when its time to close the pool, I said ok. Now in the end of September I called him and he said his guy would drain it on Wed 10-2-2014 and fix it on 10-3-2014, no show no call on 10/2 so I called him to find out the story this time and his excuse was that he was in divorce court all day and assumed his guys were sill coming, this was 5pm, no show the next day either! When you call his office you leave a message and he doesn't call back and when you call his cell it says that he hasn't set up his voice mail. Stay away from this riff raff!

I was a little disappointed. He seemed to be a good guy but he didn't like the pool that we purchased. He complained a lot the pool itself, saying it was difficult to put together and he would never buy that pool. We purchased the pool from the Discount Pool so he was the installer...he was the recommended from Discount Pool. He complained the whole day and I wasn't pleased with the liner. The liner has a lot of wrinkles on it. There are some spacers that he put in that they were all lined up in one side of the pool and there are gaps on the other side. I called him and left two messages asking him to come back out and take a look at it but I never heard back. I was not satisfied with the fact that he didn’t call back and come back to fix the problem that we had.
Description of Work: I used the pool installation service of Tri-County Pool Construction. They installed an above pool for us.

They did a good job. The job was done when they said it would be done. The cost was reasonable. There were no surprises.
Description of Work: We have used Tri County Pool Guys Inc, for pool & spa services. I believe they replaced the pool liner the last time we used them.
