Dwayne's- Custom Wood & Painted Finishes

It all went smoothly once we finally made contact . We were moving, so there was no time pressure involved. We gave him the table and the date we would be back. The table was ready as promised. I get the idea that you cannot rush something like this, but we did not face that problem in this instance. I highly recommend Dwayne's services. Now we have to schedule getting 5 chairs redone.

Cabinets look great, all damages were repaired, Walter was professional, receptive and very easy to work with.

I called on a Friday to get information about his business and to discuss the work. He was driving and told me to send an e-mail with contact information and he would call over the weekend. On Tuesday I called and left a voicemail that he had not called back and we were still waiting and not happy. He called back with an excuse (could not understand what he said on the voicemail), he then called our home number, spoke with my husband and scheduled a time to come and see the job. He arrived, my husband showed him the work and another possible item that needed to be refinished. He gave a price and said he would come on Sunday to pick up the project. Long story short - I called Thursday to confirm; he said he'd sent a text (that we never received) telling us that he would not do the job because my husband insulted him. I don't want to say something that might be misconstrued in any way, but suffice it to say, after speaking to my husband, he said nothing insulting and he said Dwayne laughed and made jokes. So now he won't do the job because he was insulted?? Really!! Totally unprofessional and would not recommend him at all. Regardless, when you commit to a customer, you honor your commitment. If you don't want to do the job, say so at the time, don't leave a customer in the lurch after providing them with the date you will be there and a price. We were stunned to say the least.

They never responded to me.

Wayne did a masterful job. I had cooking side of kitchen with problems detailed above and other side of kitchen with cabinets that were rarely touched and in great shape. Wayne agreed to do the cooking side and produced a beautiful like-new finish that was a perfect match. He warned me about potential problem areas, but was able to deliver more than promised -- a pretty great situation.

The job went very well. Someone had previously attempted to refinish my door and the result was awful. Dwayne has my door looking beautiful again. I'm very pleased.

He is very good. He did what he promised he would do, like schedule and budget.

Dwayne came highly recommended by a very reputable, high end cabinet retailer in the area. In fact, Dwayne is the only person this outfit will recommend. We scheduled the job 3 months in advance due to the holiday season and Dwayne's busy schedule. He came on time and began prepping the area by taping the edges and putting up plastic barriers. He then took of the cabinet doors, fridge panels, and hardware (to be worked back at his shop). He then sprayed everything else on site. The stain was perfectly matched to the original stain. Approximately a week and a half later, Dwayne brought back the cabinet doors and hardware. Again, everything was perfectly matched and looked almost brand new. There were a couple of minor imperfections that we brought to his attention that he fixed! We spent a lot of money on our cabinets when we originally had the house built,so we were very reluctant to bring anyone in to refinish them. Dwayne did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this type of work. It's very specialized work, almost an art, and can be a disaster if not done by the right person.

The job went great! My cabinet below my sink had some water damage done to the finish. Dwayne refinished the door and touchup the casing so that it would match the rest of my kitchen. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

He did an excellent job. You can't tell where the trimming was done. He cleaned up completely. I would use him again and would recommend his services.

He originally quoted me a much higher price than he charged me. He took the leg back to his shop because he thought he would have to repair it. He realized there was a flaw with the leg. He brought it to us and it still did not work and took it back to his shop. He still could not fix it. So he gave it back to us and apologized it will hold but not for long. He felt bad that he could not fix it completely and adjusted his price for us. He was very nice and even referred websites that we could purchase new parts that he was not associated with. He also followed up with us when he found additional websites asking us if we still needed new legs. He was so nice and we really appreciate all his help and generosity.

Dwayne came out to inspect the recline. He took the unit to hie shop and returned the repaired unit in a week. Excellent results - good as new.
