I hired Roca to redo my drive way/backyard , him and his team did a excellent job. They was very professional and did a amazing job. I will certainly recommend them. The price was very affordable and Roca is very understanding. I will be using his services in the future.

I hired Roca and Associates to repair a concrete sidewalk. Alex was great to work with. He answered my call right away and arranged to stop by the same day to provide an estimate. He returned as promised a few days later to do the work. The concrete repair was excellent. I highly recommend Roca and Associates!

We had some problems with holes appearing in the asphalt after only 4 months. After much more negotiations we were finally able to rectify the problem.

I have had many compliments about how nice my driveway looks. Roca and his men are all very pleasant hard working men! They put in new blocks at the street end and removed my old driveway. And they redesigned the end of my driveway because low cars always scraped when they backed out.

We hired them to repave my driveway and also to add 2 paver aprons to my driveway entrances. They did a very good job. He came when he said he would and completed the job on time. While delivering the pavers, we wanted to have the pavers changed to another color and Roca obliged us and got the color of pavers we wanted. We would recommend them highly!

This company does excellent work at competitive prices. Roca removed our old driveway, leveled a large depression and replaced the Belgium block and placed a new asphalt driveway. He also replaced a clogged broken drainage pipe. I highly recommend them!

Project not done yet

They have been very active in our neighborhood (Newstead in South Orange). Including us, they have done about a half dozen asphalt driveway installations within a couple of blocks, usually with stone work included. All different configurations and they all look great. Nice guys. They show up and the prices are reasonable. They were recommended by a neighbor who had gotten several estimates and they were the most reasonable.

Rocco replaced two broken cement slabs on a walkway. At first we felt that it would be slippery in the rain and in the ice. Rocco came back and re-did it right away. We appreciate that he returned promptly, and therefore give him a high rating. He also arrived exactly when he said he would to do the job.

Very professional throughout the entire project

Waste of money. Not professional at all. Inexperienced worker. The repair work broke after two weeks. After many calls they finally came to fix it, but still not in good quality.

Company did work for our neighbor and we were able to watch the progress there firsthand. Good jobsite practices and company that cares about its customers' satisfaction. They quoted a good price to repave our driveway and some incidental work and we are very happy with the results. Can easily recommend them.

Roca Paving just did Paving in my home and I couldn't be more excited to share my experience you guys. Roca is a super good guy, the crew is respectful, precise and overall nice. The pavements came out just as I wanted it I couldn't be happier with my experience with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to work on their home. 5 stars guys . The best in town.

Out of four companies that I asked to review and estimate the project only this company really cared about what had to be done, suggested the right solutions, and was willing to do and did some extra work. Two other companies were trying to pretend that they either don't understand what had to be done or trying to make a fool out of me. The third company overestimated the project 3x times, yes 3x, and gave wrong measurements (15% more); that was close to the fraud. After the completion of my project, my neighbor asked them to pave his driveway too.

Roca and Associates Construction are terrific!!! Absolute professionals. On time, on budget with excellent quality!!! They did my work as if it was their home and made several improvements without additional cost. I would rate them 10 stars if I could.

Roca was punctual in doing his work. I got my driveway resurfaced and would have given him 5 stars had it not been for some patches of water that are not draining off. When I mentioned it to Roca his response was it s not a problem. I know my job .

I called 4 contractors from local recommendations to price a full rip out and renew my driveway and to cut and replace a large concrete block in the sidewalk. I also went through Homeadvisor and Roca called me back the same day. He was in the area and stopped by within one hour. We discussed the job. My driveway is long and he clearly knows his business very well because he did not need to make detailed measurements. I had some pavers at the beginning of my drive and he said he would not be able to take them. He sent me a very reasonable price and contract the same day. He also set a fair payment schedule for the job. Roca worked with me to schedule the job (I wanted a few days between rip out and putting the new asphalt down). He came with his crew to rip out the asphalt which they did in one day. They stacked the old pavers in a neat pile. I wanted to bury drain pipes before the new asphalt was laid, and Roca advised me how to do it properly by installing a channel drain in front of the garage and connecting the drain pipes to the gutters. I decided to give him the work and he gave me a fair price. They even cut and set the Belgian blocks so that the pipes would be fully concealed. Roca compacted the base with a mechanical vibrating roller. This thing really packs the base down hard for the new asphalt. I have seen other contractors in the neighborhood using a roller that pulled by hand. Roca put down a deep layer of new asphalt - 4 to 6 inches - to compress. He got another load of asphalt to finish the job rather than â  stretchâ  the asphalt to cover the drive. He even took away the old pavers - no extra charge. Roca is an honest man, with a good hard-working crew. He cares about the job and works hard for the reviews he gets. My neighbors have been impressed and three have taken his number. He is very busy but I am hoping to hire Roca for more jobs (like replace my front steps and deck extensions).
