Monty Finishing Touch

Working with Monty's Finishing Touch was a great experience. Lamont was very communicative and helpful. He was reasonably priced and did a great job patching a hole that was left in my living room after a pipe repair. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent customer service and quality of work. I had an incredibly messy and difficult plaster ceiling that needed removal and replacement with drywall and paint. Had a gab between ceiling walls due to the layers of plaster placed on ceiling. Lamont and his team filled in these gaps seamlessly with the drywall. Impressive work and beautiful outcome. Highly recommend Monty Finishing, particularly for older homes needing plaster ceilings replaced with drywall.

Lamont and his technicians were extremely professional, communicative and provided excellent work quality. This was an entire room addition as well as patch work from construction. We were very happy with the work Monty’s Finishing Touch provided and would absolutely work with them again.

Excellent, superb quality

Lamont is a total professional. He was extremely responsive to my initial outreach, communicated clearly throughout the project and always listened to and addressed the questions/comments I had. With drywall it’s hard to see the bigger picture sometimes at the beginning of the project, but Lamont assured me that the drywall would end up looking perfect and it did. I would highly recommend hiring Lamont for your next drywall project. His prices are reasonable and his work is excellent.

Update review: It went well at first. Drywall looks nice. Some cons: they didn’t put plastic on the floor to protect my rugs even though I asked twice. And they didn’t clean up. They were suppose to come back and pick up the left over drywall and never did. And the city does not pick up so I have to figure out how to dispose of it. Will make sure to hire someone more professional next time.

Job went very well. Lamont was very responsive and kept me informed of progress. He also had great ideas for other projects I want to do. The workers always showed up on time. I will hire them again for a paint job in near future. My attic walls came out better than expected!

Horrible! Took my money upfront and didn't do the job. Started the work and didn't finish the work. He said he would come back to finish but never did. I called and text and no response back. How do i get a refund?? If i could rate below a 1 I would rate ZERO. DO NOT do business with this person ever again. Stole my money!

This young man was very professional and efficient. My basement was slightly flooded after this year's hurricane. Lamont did a wonderful job restoring my basement.

We hired Monty to patch some dry wall on our ceiling after a leak. He maintained great communication throughout the process, was detail oriented, and knowledgeable. His rates were fair and the job was done well.

i am so grateful to lamont for all of his amazing work covering the holes in my bedroom wall. when i first got them i was so nervous thinking they'd never be able to get fixed but lamont answered me so quickly, showed up the next day just to inspect but was able to begin the project that same day. he was so nice and accommodating. it can be hard sometimes when you need to call a stranger into your house for something but he was extremely considerate of my house and time. i can tell he holds himself to a high standard for his work and did an excellent job on this project. I am ready to begin painting and it took no time at all. thank you soooo much!
