FRIENDLY TREE SERVICE

What a fabulous experience. When we met with John Lang, we discussed in detail what we wanted done on the tree and John offered a lot of input. He arrived promptly for his appointment to give us an estimate. John's explanation as to what should be pruned on the tree was concise and very well verbalized to us. There was no doubt in our mind that he was an expert in his field. We felt very confident that the job would be done right and we would be certainly pleased. We made an appointment for May 18th to have the work done on the tree. John was personable and did not rush us through the appointment. Friendly Tree arrived promptly on time and there were three men to do the job. They were all courteous and seemed extremely knowledgeable in their trade. I had to leave because I had an appointment but my husband was home. It took approximately 2 hours for the work to be done. This time frame was in line with what John had said we should anticipate. John indicated that there would be a lot of climbing up and down to do the job right. Upon my arrival back home I was so pleased to see the tree work that was done. Friendly Tree did exactly what we were looking for and how John explained the work would be done. The tree has such a nice shape now and looks healthy. Best of all, the entire area was completely cleaned up - no limbs, branches, etc. were left behind. What a great job. Thank you Friendly Tree Service. You will definitely be the only company I use should I need any other tree work performed.

Did a fantastic job. Cleaned up area as well. Purchased this service as Big Deal. Still a bit pricey. But very pleased with the work that was done.

Mulch was delivered within the timeframe promised (8-9 promised, delivered a little before 8:30). Jimmy the driver was very professional and dumped the mulch exactly where I wanted it. As he was leaving he saw that I was working to get a large tarp over the mulch pile. He got out of his truck and came back and helped me cover it. A true professional!

Cut down 2 trees and they did in a very quick manner. They were very professional, the only question I have is they were supposed to ground down the trunk to the roots and it wasn't done.

I called and 1) they actually picked up the phone, 2) I was able to schedule an estimate in 1 day, and 3) I was able to get the work done the day after that! Really nice, knowledgeable guy John gave his recommendations given what I wanted. The guys removed the really high branches (via some sort of acrobatics and a small a chainsaw), and then cleaned up the debris (and the debris that existed prior to them working) wonderfully. Also took out 3 small trees and grinded down the stumps. Overall backyard space looks a lot bigger, cleaner. Never had this kind of work done before, but I was really impressed In truth, I didn't not compare prices so I cannot reliably say that they provided the best price, but overall it seemed fair and I was extremely pleased with the result.

The team did a great job, they came to the house and based on what I was looking for, made a series of recommendations. When they came to complete the work, I wasn't around, but when I returned home, the job was completed and besides the better looking tree situation, you couldn't tell they were there. They cleaned up after themselves and everything was completed as agreed. I will absolutely use Friendly Tree Service again in the future.

I had purchased a big deal and it turned out fine. I felt that they were a bit expensive, but they did a nice job. They cut the branches satisfactorily. They were prompt. I would like the service to be cheaper, but everything else was fine. I know that kind of work is expensive.

I was impressed with the fast, punctual and professional service received. John Lang came out and gave a written estimate on Tuesday 2/3/2015, he arrived at the time he said he would between 8am and 8:30am and this was with all the snow and ice on the ground after the storm. He said the job could be done the next day Wednesday 2/4 between 9am and 12 noon if I agreed to the contract, I agreed. The workers came within the time slot John said they would, again with all the ice and snow still on the ground, they were punctual, polite and professional. I was told by John and the guy that was in charge of the job if all the debris was not picked up because of the snow and ice they would come back and remove it when the snow and ice melted. I am pleased with the customer service because it is something that is kind of rare now of days. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

His quote was double what I paid for the job.

The only problem we had was that they did not show up the day they were scheduled. They said they had a truck problems when we contacted them to see why they were late. They showed up first thing the next morning and took care of everything plus some extra things. Other then the lateness they were hard workers and we would hire them again.

Absolute pleasure dealing with this company. They contacted me the same day and were able to do the job that same afternoon. The work was done exactly as discussed and they cleaned up every last twig. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

This was second time they have done service for us and they did a very good job. They are always professional and punctual, and I would highly recommend them.

I did not use their services as their quote was not as competitive as another tree service. John did respond quickly to my initial inquiry and provided a quote quickly.

Friendly Tree Service arrived on the job on time, their communication was top notch, and they arrived with the necessary equipment and manpower to do the job fast, and to our complete satisfaction. They removed several large branches from a tall Pine Tree we have that were leaning on our power lines, trimmed back about twenty feet of over grown hedges and cut back some ivy that we had growing on an old tree stump in our back yard. All debris was removed and the job turned out perfect. Will use them again in the future. Thank you.

These guys were great. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything so that I understood. One of the trees in the kids play area had a disc rope swing attached to a dead limb. They removed the limb and put the swing on another branch. That was really awesome because the kids love that swing. I wanted to ensure that the trees around the house were safe and now I don't have to worry about tree branches falling on my kids heads. I am very happy with their service and would defiantly use them again

I have a number of mature locust trees along the driveway. Some of them fell down during the last storms and I was concerned that they might hit the house next time. While they are not to most prices trees, they look great and the birds love them. I was reluctant to just have them cut down. John responded to my email very quickly and evaluated the trees. He pointed out that the trees are still healthy and that I can keep them if they got pruned. This would buy me a number of years to grow succession-trees. I appreciated his suggestion, especially since he would have made a lot more money by taking them down. While the job was done, it turned out that some black walnut trees had large branches that were at risk of coming down. They supported the biggest branches with cables to preserve them. I really like about this company that they are doing the best for the trees instead of just chopping down trees.

John was on time, very polite, very professional and knowledgeable. He listened to my needs and answered my questions, explained my concerns and gave suggestions. I was very comfortable and satisfied. We ended up hiring a different company but I'm sure if John did the job he would be fantastic. Next time I need tree service I'll definitely call him up again.

I was not home but when I returned home I saw that they did the job and I was very pleased with their work.

Salesman was professional and knowledgeable. When the actual workers showed up to do the job, they told me they were going to do a lot less than the salesman had quoted. I told them to stop work until it was settled. They called home office and the matter was cleared up almost instantly with no further intervention by me. I was impressed that the home office stood by their commitment. The workers were nice about it and did a very good job. I would definitely use them again.
