 + -1 moreSUPER poor costumer service; I have to keep calling for the quote, invoice, etc. They don't even deserve one star; costumer service very poor; they ask you for the all the measurements and they OVERQUOTE you base on that. Only when you finish the job and you get allot over stock is when you find out that they sold you more that what you really need; and they refuse to give you credit. They are very rude and blame you for everything. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. NOT RECOMMENDED

Description of Work: They installed a fence in my back yard. There was a tree that in the way and they came up with a way to have more yard space.

Description of Work: Superior service. We needed a wood stockade fence repaired. on a yard that slopes away from the house. After a number of phone inquiries to fencing companies that were indifferent (at best) or just couldn't bothered, I tried Academy. Being a typical homeowner, I had a vague sense of what was needed and an approximate cost. Academy Fencing provided a rough estimate and then sensing that a professional appraisal was necessary, sent a representative out the next morning. After he crunched the numbers, we gave the go ahead and within the next 24 hours the materials were delivered, the old fencing removed and the new stockade fencing installed. The speed was breath-taking and the service and installation a tribute to professionalism. Everything was cleaned up before they left the job.

 + -1 moreI contacted Emerson Fence Company to get an estimate to install a PVC fence. They scheduled an appointment and then called back to say that they did not service my area but that they had recommended someone good in my area. I received a call from a fast talking sales person from Academy fence who did not want to give me an estimate, but instead asked me for the measurements and gave me a price based on my esitmates. The estimated cost was ridiculously high. I felt as if the sales person from Academy Fence was just doing a favor for Emerson Fence, but they really were not interested in doing the job. On this basis alone, I would not use Academy Fence company.
Description of Work: No services were performed. Did not get that far

 + -1 moreThey were very good. We were very happy and the fence is still standing after 11 years. I spent about $3750. They gave us the best price compared to the three quotes that we got. They did what they said they were going to do. They showed up on time and they did the job. They were very courteous and did what they had to do. We didn?t have any problems afterwards. They were the cheapest. We didn?t have any concerns and I am sure they would have responded if I had any. If I need a fence, then I would give them an opportunity to bid.
Description of Work: Academy Fence Co Inc. installed a green vinyl-coated chain link fence and walk gates for us in April of 2000. It surrounds most of the yard.
