+ -1 moreMet with Val to get an estimate for a remodel job on my condo in Hoboken, NJ. I don't live nearby so it took some effort to coordinate our appointment on my end, and he knew this. He was late by 2 weeks in sending an estimate. When I contacted him over the following weeks, he repeatedly responded saying that the estimate would be "ready in a few days." Eventually, I gave up. I never heard from him again and ended up finding another contractor who was far more professional. Total waste of time.
Description of Work: Partial bathroom remodel, flooring refinishing, crown molding replacement.

+ -1 moreCall the NJ division of consumer affairs and you will see multiple complaints are filed against Val and VLS Builders.The one I filed is for gross negligence and fraud.
