EcoSystems Custom Lawn Sprinklers

He was on time, friendly & professional. In getting my system up and running he found some issues- 2 broken heads & a broken piece of hose. He took care of it very quickly & explained everything that was involved.. I was very happy with the service and will absolutely use them again.

The service was okay. Overall I was happy with the experience with the company, the only thing that I was unhappy about was that the sprinkler needed extra repair and the guy charged me 60 Dollars just to round and check the wires, that I thought was much. They showed up when they said they were going to show up, they called and confirmed the appointment and so I thought that they were good in that part, I am just a little upset about the charge for just looking at some wires. He seemed to know what he was talking about. I think I would use them again, everything was good except the charge.

Initially they seemed unreachable. It turned out that one of their employee who had left had not passed on my requests. Because of high ratings at Angie's list I pursued. It was a great experience since it was possible to work out all the details via email. Their team came to do the work as planned and completed within their stated time. Everything went smoothly. . I wanted to wait for usage of the sprinkler before posting this review. They do get busy and it is essential to get appointment worked out ahead of time. Often they are not able to easily accommodate visit schedule in short notice since they seemingly have a large customer base.

The guy was professional but I think the price was a little steep.

After Superstorm Sandy I had a lot of work that had to be done, and Eric over at Eco Fence took care of the fencing. Now, I'm almost never around during the week so Eric and I did almost all of our communication by email and, on occasion, by phone. I can't say that this was ideal for him, but it worked for me and, in the end, was effective. I needed to get the fencing done before replacing my lawn which was, with all the trucks and equipment rolling over it for the rest of the work, not much more than a dirt road. Eric coordinated his team's efforts with that of my landscaper (Scenic View...see related review) and everything worked out. Eric's team came on a Sunday, replaced everything that needed repair, and was off the site without leaving a trace that they were there. The repairs looked great. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for fencing repairs or replacement.

The installation appeared to go well, except for the fact that they were using 3 1/2" nails to attach the 90 lb. sections of fencing to the posts. The rail and picket are 2 ½? thick, which leaves six (6) nails with one (1) inch each in length (after going through the picket & rail) to hold the whole 90 lb. section on the posts. This does not even sound good on paper, and it did not hold up any better in use. Two (2) of the thirteen (13) sections have fallen down within the 1st year (Over 15% failure rate) Eric Donner sent someone out to reattach the 1st section that came down less than 5 months after installation (using much larger nails this time). The workman wanted me to sign off when the work was done. The form had a statement scribbled on it that said this repair was gratis, but future repairs would be my responsibility (so he does not want to stand by his premium priced work for more than 5 months). I refused to sign the bogus statement, since the contract came with a 1 year guarantee. Eric has not responded to my requests to reattach the 2nd fallen section, and reinforce the other sections with larger nails (66 more nails on a $3,440 job). Is that too much to ask? I also had to call Eric three (3) times to adjust the gate so that it would close properly. Each time I had to wait weeks for someone to come out. Between the gate problems& the fallen fencing, my dog has not had free use of the yard for months since the fence was erected for him.

We are very please with EcoSystems. Eric was able to come over for an estimate within a couple of days after calling him. He was on time and very thorough and knowledgeable. The day the fence went up the workers arrived right on time. They were very professional and nice. They worked very hard and were able to get the whole fence up that day. It looks great and we are very happy with it. I definitely would recommend them and use them again.

They were here on time and did a great job! They were very informative on the phone going out of their way to explain how I can also do certain things to assure a properly working sprinkler system.

They did outstanding work. Their communication was high, they completed the work in the timeframe promised. The completed work was excellent!

They arrived within the timeframe we were told to expect them. We expected them closer towards the end of the time range, but they came relatively early. They were efficient and did an excellent job. We plan to use them again for our winterization next year.

I used an Angie's coupon to have them close down the sprinkler system for the winter. I called them the evening before our appointment just to firm things up because everything was still hectic with vendors due to the hurricane. They returned my call that evening to let me know they were still planning to come. They were running late the day of the appointment, but took the time to call me and let me know. The service person was very professional and payment was easy since it could be check or credit card. I will use them again next year and consider them for a fencing project I will have in the spring

We hired EcoSystems to put a white PVC fence in our backyard replacing an old wood split rail fence. They did a great job! The fence remained intact and without damage despite a number of branches and tree limbs which fell on it during hurricane Sandy. They were a little more expensive than other competitors, but they are a local company and we felt more comfortable with them. We were 100% satisfied with our decision to go with EcoSystems. They completed the install in less than a day and took away the old fence. We also hired them to repair our sprinkler system. They needed to hire a plumber to do some of the work. There was some difficulty scheduling with the plumber, but EcoSystems convinced us that the plumber was excellent and to give him a second chance. We are glad that we did. He did a fantastic job! He was able to fit in a very very small space in order to make the repair that was needed and did it without causing damage to our wall. It was very impressive. Once the plumber made the repair, then EcoSystems was able to perform the opening. The technician who come out for that did a great job. Since we moved in to the house in the winter, this was the first time we were actually using the system. He cleaned out sprinkler heads, helped us program the system and made sure every thing was intact. Finally, EcoSystems winterized our system. They were quick and efficient. Again, they are a little more expensive than some of their competitors, but overall we were very satisfied with their work and would definitely hire them again.

Came in as promised and finished the job without a hitch. The price, however, I felt was a little high. My neighbor got hers done for $15. I may call her guy next year. Nothing bad against EcoSystems though, just the price for a simple job like that is a little high.

I had an overall pleasent experience and will definately be using them for all further maintenance of my system.

I have used EcoSystems in the past for several projects. I just used them for winterizing my sprinkler systems. I have 5 zones and it cost $89. Prompt, fast, and the tech was great. He showed me exactly what he did and was very pleasant to deal with.

The price was right in line with the other two estimates that I got. They were very punctual. As soon as they started the job, we had days of rain which held up the job. But they called me or e-mailed me every day to let me know that they weren’t going to be here or that they came out and that it was too wet to work. They were very good about keeping me advised as to the status of the job. I have already recommended them to people.

They impressed us with their product, top of the line, and all the information we needed to make our decision. The work was done in a timely fashion although there was a bit of debris left after they finished the job. I think that a better job could have been done once everything was in place, as far as replacing the dug up areas and cleaning up. Everything works as promised and we even get how to use the controls and can change things successfully. The job was completed in about five hours.

They arrived on the date and time. Installed there system, tested and ran it. showed me how to operate same.

This review is in reference to the IRRIGATION install by Ecosystems: Ecosystems set themselves apart from the pack by providing a site plan indicating the proposed sprinkler locations and sprinkler head types...drawn-up at our first site survey meeting. They designed an 8-zone system consisting of approx. 32 sprinklers with a mix of rotary and misting heads. Said system included a digitally programmable timer (highly customizable) and a rain sensor. The irrigation was installed after the property was graded and before the new sod was installed. From the system designer "Jay" (J. Cardoso), to the job foreman Jeff, assistant foreman Alphonso, technician James, plumber Neil, secretary Heather, as well as all other support personnel, the job went smoothly, efficiently and successfully. Ecosystems felt like family to us. With their expert knowledge and workmanship in irrigation, our newly installed sod matured into a gorgeous lawn.

Horrible experience. Found ecosystems on Angies, called them up to schedule spring turn-on of my sprinkler system. Gave me a date of Wed, 25th, but no timeframe, since "they create service schedule 1 day ahead". Was told someone would contact me on Tuesday morning with the time. Tue around noon, I get a call from them, asking me for spelling of my street since they couldn't find it. Gave them correct spelling, asked if they have the time they'll be coming over. Am told they don't have the time yet, but will call me around 4PM. 5:30PM, noone calls me... I call myself, she says "oh yeah... I have your time. It's between 1:30 and 4:30". I say 3 hours is kind of a long window, she says it's the best they can do. Ok... Wed mid-morning, I get a call from them, the lady says their are ahead of schedule, would I like them to come sooner... I ask them to call my wife since she's the one that was home. They called my wife, and agreed to give her a call before the driver comes. Noone calls until 4PM, they say the driver is on his way and will be there in 30 mins. hour and a half later, he shows up around 6PM, tries to start the system, and the first zone valve doesn't close. He spends about 45 mins to an hour looking for the valve, and cant find it. Then tells me his machine that he uses to locate wires is not functioning properly, and it's getting dark anyhow, so they'd have to come back (at additional fees). Shuts the water off, charges me $80 for the service call, and tells me that he'll personally speak with the scheduling office, and I'll get a call first thing in the morning on Thursday to schedule the follow-up ASAP. Now it's Friday late morning, and I have not heard from anyone. The service person actually seemed very knowledgeable and nice, but this place is horrible logistically, and I'll be calling someone else to take care of the problem in a more professional manner.

When we bought this house last summer the irrigation system was inoperative due the need to replace the back flow preventer. We used the vendor that the realtor recommended to have that replaced. When it came time to shut down the sprinkler system we used the same vendor. When we started up the system for the season we discovered an underground leak. I called the vendor who had done the shut down to repair it but they gave me an appointment weeks away. I contacted Eco Systems and they had someone there within a couple of days. He quickly found and repaired the leak as well as several other issues which should have been addressed by the previous vendor. One area of the lawn was not getting irrigated . EcoSystem found that there was a head that was buried several inches under the ground and replaced it. Another head was not working. Upon investigation we discovered that the tube/pipe had never been tied into the system. He corrected that as well. Their worker not only knew what he was doing it, but why he was doing it as well.

Had to return after initial visit a week or so later to get more parts to do job, but not unexpected. Great job, price and experience.
