Technician, Robert Mauceri, analyzed the problem, Arctic Air ordered the necessary parts, and Robert returned the following week to perform the repair. The repair went smoothly and quickly, and our mini-split unit is once again providing us with air conditioning and heat. Robert is a knowledgeable and skilled technician who addressed all of our concerns and answered all of our questions. Because of a very positive experience from initial phone call to completion of work, Arctic Air will be our go-to choice for future needs.

The work in both instances was performed expertly and professionally. I hire Arctic Air to re-run my pipes from my boiler to the vents on the ground level of my home. The old pipes ran underground and were buried in concrete prior to connecting to the heating vents in the lower level of my home. They began to leak and I lost pressure in that zome. Arctic Air ran a new line of copper tubing above ground and threaded the new pipes thru the existing vents in my family room. They worked all day installing the new pipes. They worked quietly and professionally and cleaned up after performing a final pressure test of the system. So far, their installation appears to be flawless! So, I hired them again to replace my 40-year-old HVAC. Again, they executed the installation like the pros they really are. They were courteous and refused to work in my home without slipcovers over their shoes. How many contractors are in the habit of doing that? Well, this group took the time to do it each time they entered our home. No matter how many times they had to leave our home to get supplies off of their truck, they removed the shoe covers and re-installed them each time. That might seem like a small thing to some. But think about it, if they go through that much trouble for such a small thing, doesn't that give an indication that they are pretty precise about the other work too? Well, both the HVAC and plumbing is working fine so far. I would hire them again.

well...it was a pleasure dealing with Andrew the sales rep...he was knowledgeable and personable..always patient with our many questions as well as in resolving any concerns.The technicians were prompt , Jimmy was effective at explaining the basics to us . The job site was left spotless and we've been satisfied with the new system

Hi, Technician came to my house for heating system tune-up and he finish his work within 10 min and give us wrong filter size. also he did not explain anything about system and also don't adjusted gas pressure.I told him my furnace make so much noise when start running but still he didn't lubricate my motor. Feel like waste the money. i will not hire again them.

I contacted Arctic Air based on Angie's List ratings. I had a leak from my central air caused by a clog and sent them a message after hours via Angie's List. They responded immediately, called me first thing the next morning, and Dan Mawby came out in the afternoon. He blew debris out the line, addressed all of my concerns, and checked the pressures and refrigerant. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and very personable. I would hire Arctic Air again in a heartbeat!

Arctic responded same-day, and the technician arrived at the stated time. The tech, Mike, was extremely courteous and helpful. He walked me through his diagnostic routine as well as the rationale behind the changes he suggested to fix my problem. If I had another problem I would definitely call Arctic again, and request the same tech.

Arctic air came to my rescue on a day that was close to 100 degrees. I called them after coming home to find my air conditioner not working and frantically called them for help, they booked an appointment ASAP and had a technician to my home in a half hour. In addition they texted confirmation of the appointment and the technicians name and a tracking number so I can see how long before he came. The technician named Sal was cordial and professional and within a few minutes was able to diagnose and fix my air conditioning unit. He had the necessary replacement part already with him on his truck so no additional waiting was required in obtaining the part like I had experienced with other companies. I would highly recommend Arctic Air

Very well. Especially since it was just a loose wire, and they didn't make it seem like it was more than what it was. I really appreciated their honesty very much. Since my unit is very old, I will be using their services to replace it.

Kyle from Arctic Air came out on the July 6th for a pre-disclosed fee of $116.22. So far so good... Within minutes he realized that our 10+ year old unit couldn't get fixed because R-22 will no longer be available in 2020 and that it will cheaper to replace entire unit instead of fixing. That's where it turned sour. Kyle was unable to give us any estimate or even an idea on replacement cost and said that we need to contact the head office to make another appointment to schedule another tech visit just for an estimate. So basically, the $116 for Kyle's 15-20 minute visit (that included the time Kyle spent on filling out the bill) got us absolutely NOTHING. For us, this was a total waste of money and we will NOT consider Arctic Air for any future job.

The upstairs central air in our house stopped cooling. The technician diagnosed it as a burnt out fan motor that needed to be replaced. Luckily I had called Trane, the manufacturer of the unit and firmed that it was still under warranty. The parts manager was very helpful and supportive and she worked with me to order the part and to ensure that it was still covered under warranty since the part would cost about $1,000. The part was installed about a week later and we now have a functioning air conditioner. I had a very good experience dealing with everyone I was in contact with at Arctic Air Conditioning, from the customer service people who answer the phone, to the technicians that came to our house, to the parts manager (I think her name was Andra, but I'm sure I've mangled the spelling - she was absolutely fantastic). I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

We have them come twice a year for tune-ups. They installed my whole system and they did an excellent job.

I was told that the technician would be here between 11am and 1am and he was. He worked hard, explained what he was doing and what he had done, and left me feeling that I had made the right choice in choosing this Angie's List highly rated firm. In addition, the cost was exactly what I was told it would be when I scheduled the appointment. I pleased and impressed!

I found Arctic Air Conditioning via the NJ Clean Energy website as they are a certified contractor for the NJ Clean Energy Home Performance Program. I researched the program before hand and knew that the energy efficient rebates (up to 4K) and financing (0% for 7 years) would be perfect for me. Arctic thoroughly accessed my home, this included examining the current equipment, calculating the size/area of the house, and took the time to discuss any issues I was currently having. The technician explained everything, answered all my questions, and let me know about the Home Performance program and how equipment has improved over the years. What I really like was that they didn't just want to replace my system, they took additional time to test my existing system to see how everything was working - this critical step showed that I was not getting enough return air for the system to run properly. Very quickly after the assessment I received their proposal which included a few different levels of equipment to match different budget levels. I also got quotes from two other contractors, but neither offered options, they seemed to offer standard packages regardless of the size of house. I chose to install a 96% efficient two stage HVAC system with 3 ton AC, a power vented 50 gallon high efficient water heater, an interactive digital thermostat with tons of settings/schedules/reporting, and adding additional insulation in the attic along with sealing any gaps/spaces in the attic floor. They also suggested an additional return to ease the system. Scheduling was effortless, and the workers arrived on time to begin the install. All the workers were excellent, they were nice, worked clean, installed everything perfectly, and they completed the job fast! I am very cautious with people working on my house, nobody cares as much about my home as me, so I was very relieved that these guys were total professionals. The new system is so quiet, looks good, and works perfectly. In the end, I am very glad I found Arctic, this project went as smooth as possible. I look forward to using Arctic to service my equipment in the future and have great confidence that they will continue to impress me... there is a reason that this company has been around for 41 years!
