Chris Kennedy came promptly and solved the situation. We were very lucky as our job was small but no lees he came. We hope one of this days to remodel our kitchen and after I saw some of his work, we definitively will hire him.

Chris is a perfectionist and Craftsman with a passion for his work. His attention to detail is second to none and he does each project like it's his own. The ideas he provides and the planning he puts into a job well done is hard to find. This is the second project and my family is going to be working with him on a project that their house as well after seeing how Chris works

Chris Kennedy, came up with very practical solutions to fix the problem. We are very grateful the job was done within 30 minutes, at a very reasonable cost. We will highly recommend his services, he is honest, and we will use him again.

Working with Chris was a pleasure. He returned phone calls in a timely manner, he provided detailed information, and a written quote indicating what was to be done. He made suggestions regarding the job which were appreciated and included in the job. He estimated the job would take 2--3 days, and was finished in two. He took care not to damage a garden which was near the shed. He removed all the debris and cleaned up the work site.

I had forgotten that he had previously worked on that portion of the roof. He remembered and told me. He found that the water from the ice d*** was entering behind the siding where it had not been properly flashed. He has been very helpful, honest and thorough. I will use his services again.

I called about a week after the hurricane and they came out the next day and got on the roof and inspected where the missing shingles were. They went and got matching shingles and replaced them. I had my insurance company come out and inspect the roof and they said they did a great job at a great price!

This was a long process due to building permit needs and special material ordering. Chris stayed on top of it all and delivered beautifully and on time and one budget.

We were quite impressed with the special attention he gave to this problem. He knew that the weather forecast was for heavy rain that evening and told us that is why he came over right away. He was right. It poured rain but none of it came into our home. He was very considerate.

Chris at A Kennedy Perfection had previously completed two projects at my home so I was confident that he'd do a great job restoring my old wooden, weather-beaten front door. The door is an original dating back to around 1928. It's a good sturdy wooden door but it hadn't been maintained & needed a face lift. It featured an old lift-latch instead of a door knob. The dead bolt was very small & ineffective by today's standards. The door didn't open fully. It scraped against the slate floor in the foyer so it was difficult to get large objects, furniture and people into the house. The door knocker was green & corroded. I appreciate the time Chris took in advance of the project to assess the details, determine all supplies needed & prepare for any potential problems or hurdles that could arise once he started. As a result, he came prepared to complete the job in one day. Chris also removed the badly corroded door knocker & took it home to soak & scrub. Chris showed up on time as always & he spent the entire day working non-stop on this project. Chris removed the door from the hinges & sanded the old stained wood down to it's natural state. He sanded the bottom of the door so that it was level & would open completely. He spent a lot of time scraping out the "window putty" that a previous owner had shoved in between the pieces of wood that make up the door. He applied the stain and multiple coats of finish. While the stain & finish were drying he worked on the door frame & saddle. He needed to cut out & replaced part of the door frame that was broken. He installed the new door latch & dead bolt that I purchased. He had to cut new holes in the door for the new set & fill in the holes from the old locks. Chris replaced the old door saddle with a new one that included a good piece of weather stripping. He primed and painted the door frame and applied additional weather stripping around that frame. He re-installed the door knocker that he has scrubbed clean. It came up beautifully! Chris completely transformed the door. He turned the old beast into a true beauty. The door looks better than I could have imagined thanks to Chris's skill & creative abilities. Again, I highly recommend Chris & A Kennedy Perfection. Chris Kennedy is a pro.

I was impressed by Chris Kennedy's immediate response to my phone call. He was out of state on vacation when he returned my call. We made an arrangement for him to come & look at my water problem. I had a lot of water seeping into my house once the ice in the gutter started to melt. This was due to the high volume of snow & deep freeze all winter. I don't normally have this water issue. The gutter is butting up against my exterior siding outside my dining room & the finished basement below. The water had melted & flowed inside with a vengeance. Chris diagnosed the problem & made a plan to fix it. Keep in mind that this description of his work is in "layman's terms". He would probably describe it accurately using all the right technical terms....Chris started by caulking the top of the dining window & on the siding above it. He inserted a metal barrier underneath the siding where the siding meets the roof. Then he bent the metal up & over the siding where the water had been entering the home. He folded it over the top of the dining room window. Chris fastened the metal permanently to the house. This barrier will make it impossible for the water to enter into my house as it did before. He painted the barrier to match my original siding. Chris also went on top of the roof & checked around for damage & repaired it. I was shocked when I saw his workmanship! He really lives up to his company name...A Kennedy PERFECTION! When I came home from work that evening to see what he did, I really believed he hadn't been there because his work was so perfect & seamless that you couldn't even tell he'd worked there. He matched the new siding with the old flawlessly. He didn't leave a spec of debris behind. This was a tricky job. It's not easy to keep water out of your house once it finds a way in. Chris was up for the challenge & I am extremely impressed by his creative, solution-oriented thinking, his meticulous workmanship & his professionalism. I highly recommend A Kennedy Perfection.

They performed a back yard deck repair and restoration for us. Quote was competitive. They were very thorough in inspecting our deck and recommending important repairs as well as in describing the restoration process. The completed work was high quality and completed on time and within budget. We would definitely use them again.

Chris was very professional and pleasant. He returned my calls within a resonable amount of time. He came for an estimate and sent me one by e-mail within a day. The original date of work had to be postponed due to inclement weather and we rescheduled. He and an apprentice worked all day on a Friday till about 8 pm. The rusted pipe was not part of the estimate, took extra time to purchase, replace and increased the cost of the job. Within a few days the resurfacing of the cracks appeared across the porch roof , I called Chris and he returned my call and came out to look at it. We spoke and he is coming out again to resurface the porch roof.

Deck was to be cleaned and stained, however rain was in the forecast, I suggested that he postpone staining until there was a forecast of clear weather. Chris refused and stained the deck anyway, shortly after completing the stain began to come off as rained a few hours after he finished and for the next several days, I called and he said he would take of it. He did not. So this spring he called me as I had several projects to be done. He came over in late May and reviewed the work, did Not hear from him for over 4 weeks and hired another contractor, my deck was chipped and ugly, I hired and paid another contractor to do it, when I did hear from Chris I asked him kindly for my money to be returned even a portion was acceptable, where he promptly stated it was my fault and that his work was not guaranteed. So please beware, get everything in writing, including a guarantee and do not use cash as I did, for his is not an honorable man.

They showed up when they said they would and worked two days straight until the job was finished. They were polite, cleaned up after themselves and my new roof looks great. I would hire these professionals again and probably will for some other work I need done later this year.

He did a real good job. He was excellent. He promised the work would be done in two day and he cleaned up properly. The price was exactly as he estimated. He did a top notch job. Everything was perfect.

This job went smooth as silk. Chris checked my roof and gave me a price that was lower than the other two roofers I contacted. It took less than two days to complete just as Chris had estimated. He used top notch materials and did a great job cleaning up. His work came highly recommended and I concur. He was a pleasure to do business with.

Chris Kennedy had been here once before, and provided an inexpensive repair to our roof. He had asked my husband to secure a vent pipe in the attic, which didn't get done, and so heavy winds caused a little leaking. Chris came back, provided a more robust fix, my husband secured the vent pipe, and even Hurricane Sandy didn't cause any leaking!
