TEACHERS MOVING INC

Moved from New Jersey to Durham, NC, home and home office. From the start, everyone at Teacher's Moving were the total professionals. Rick, one of the owners came out to give the initial estimate. I paid extra to have a dedicated move, in other words, a truck just for my move, so a 3 day delivery instead of the usual 7-10 business days. It was worth it, everything went smoothly from start to finish. Movers were friendly, professional, helpful, capable. Andre, the job foreman handled everything perfectly on both ends. No damage, no delays, no extras. As hassle free as a move can be. Would highly recommend with absolutely no reservations. It cost a little more for the dedicated move, but their bid was competitive and you get what you pay for. If you want a move done right, really can't do better than these guys.

The best moving experience I have ever had. Teacher's movers came on a Tuesday to pack up for a move the following day. The packers were professional, did a GREAT job, and were pleasant to have in my house. The next day, a team of 4 EXPERT movers moved the contents of my house to its new location. The workers, who were local, have been working for the company for many years, were professional, kind, understanding and VERY hard working

The movers were quick and professional, but a lot of nicks and scratches happened to my furniture happened. Should have paid closer attention as things arrived to my house, but I noticed days later and figured it'd be an annoying fight to prove the damages, even though I paid for the insurance. Furniture should have been wrapped in blankets. Would have saved a lot of problems for me.

Teachers Moving was amazing -- it was my first 'professional' mover situation and they could not have been more helpful -- from the estimate and scheduling to the day-of move -- they were courteous, efficient and came in under the estimate. I would definitely use them again.

I was in a panic about my move. From the in person quote, to the actual move, nothing could have been better. The movers, gentlemen for sure, from Teachers were absolutely the reason for the smooth and professional move. They were punctual, handled my things with care, and packed the storage unit to maximize my ability to locate and get things as needed. My anticipated anxiety and stress were non existent thanks to this company. I recommend them without reservation.

The move to our rental went perfectly. The movers were professional, detailed in how our furniture was wrapped, FAST & funny. Their lighthearted attitudes helped make our very stressful move into an easy experience. They were great at dealing with our 2 young & very curious children. Throughout the move they gave us advice on how to make our upcoming move easier & how to store important things in the interim. We are requesting the same crew on our move into our permanent home in a few weeks. Could not have been more impressed!

Tony and his gentlemen arrived promptly. They took extra care of our belongings. The move was not an easy one however Tony and his crew handled it as if it were. From the initial contact to the conclusion, working with Teachers Moving was the easiest part of the entire move. I will use them again and highly recommend anyone moving to use them. A++++++

They were very nice. I think there were two people that moved item. They had to go from Eatontown up to Keansburg. It took them probably an hour to pick up the item and get it up there and put it where it was supposed to go and that was that. They were very careful.

Very well. Everything was handled with care and the team of movers were professional and extremely pleasant. We were very pleased with the service we received.

I could not even imagine ever having a better experience. From the first meeting to the moving crew, just amazing. They get 5 stars!!!

IT WENT OK. RICK CAME TO ESTIMATE ON 3/23/17 BUT WAS NOT SURE THEY COULD ACCOMMODATE ALL OF MY NEEDS. RICK RESPONDED WITHIN 2 DAYS TO INFORM ME THAT THEY COULD MOVE MY STANDING FURNITURE BUT THEY DO NOT PERFORM SOME OF THE SERVICE I NEEDED WHICH WAS ASSEMBLING SMALL FURNITURE ITEMS THAT WERE STILL IN DELIVERY BOXES. THEY ONLY RE-ASSEMBLE STANDING FURNITURE TO BE MOVED. THEY ARE POLITE & BUSINESSLIKE. I HAVE NO ISSUE EXCEPT FOR YOU TO REFUND $100. THANK YOU.

Our move went great. The team was on time, worked very hard, and did it all with a lovely sense of humor/comraderie that made what was a stressful day a lot less stressful. Very profressional and caring. We were moving to an old house that had challenges in design for larger objects, and it is very worth noting that the team TRIED to do everything, REALLY tried. It wasn't "nope, we can't do that". It was "Hmmm, I think we can do that, not sure but we're going to try". These guys worked their hearts out, and I'm VERY happy with the experience. Highly recommended.

The movers from Teachers moving were professional, courteous, efficient and careful. They complied with special requests of mine and came in in less time than was estimated.

The movers arrived on time and went right to work. All three movers were polite and concerned with moving my things with great care. I was splitting my belongings into my new home and storage. They check with me throughout the move, making sure everything went to the right place. They worked hard even in the heat and actually finished under the estimate! Great experience. I will use them again for my next move,

Overall I am satisfied. The packers and movers were overall relatively nice. Not the most professional bunch of guys but again very nice and courteous. My major gripe is they made an appointment to come over and give an estimate and were WAY off. They went through every room and closet and even measured items. They estimated 1700-1900 and it ended up being 3400. We didn't add any additional items and even moved some items to the new house prior to them packing. I believe they lowball in order to entice, which is NOT very professional.Again, I probably would use them again but I would need to assume they are not giving good estimates.

The drivers Chris and Dewon had excellent customer service skills. They were both so friendly and courteous. They had to park in the middle of a courtyard that had 9 garages and during the move they had to move their truck 2 times to accommodate residents needing to get out of their garages. They did this with a smile and never complained. They packed my furniture beautifully wrapping it in blankets, taping and shrink wrapping each piece. They were very careful moving the furniture onto the moving truck. They drove to another residence and unloaded carefully, unpacked each piece carefully, and set the bedroom set back up again. They were just so friendly and I was appreciative of their caring personality and they were both hard workers. I would definitely use them again. Also, when I called Teacher's Moving Inc. the person answering the phone (Rob) was so courteous and helpful. I needed a small job done quickly and reasonably. They were able to accommodate me. I am just so happy with Teachers Moving Inc. That's why they are #1. They work hard and have proven themselves to be the best!!

Teachers moving is a great company. Rick came out and did the initial estimate. The package I got from Angie's list was definitely not enough, but the applied it as a down payment. The crew they sent were fast and very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving.

I had contacted Rick in August regarding the move from our home in NJ to NC. He was very professional. Both he and Dave Went over everything with me. Of the 5 movers that I had contacted for an estimate, Teacher's was the very highest, but enabled us to have our own dedicated truck; not piled in with others. Our home is on a steep hill and they had many, many steps and two floors of furniture and boxes to load. Seven very polite and hardy men came on Sept 19th to do the "loading and packing". It was a hard move due to our location, but they worked like crazy. That Sunday, Sept. 21 after a day of travel , two of the original seven, unloaded our "stuff" into our storage unit. Another long day for them. I have much admiration for all of them. They were not only hard working but took the time to ensure that we were happy with what was going on. It was expensive, but well worth the money. I would highly recommend them for their service, attitude and work ethic. They were wonderful, and thank you all for all that you did for us.

I had the out to give me a price quote on Friday... the quote was reasonable and Rick seemed like a good guy. I told him that I needed to move this Wednesday and only this Wednesday and he told me that would be no problem. Then, about five minute ago, he called me up to tell me Wednesday wasn't available and we had a miscommunication?!?!?!? I'm basically up sh*ts creek since Wednesday is two days away and it is the only day I can move. I CHOSE THEM BASED OFF THEIR HIGH REVIEWS ON HERE BUT BE SAFE AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY... Apparently they are good movers but are undependable so don't risk it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Company is the best! From the call for a quote to saying goodbye these guys were great to work with. They were the lowest and they were on time, very professional, great humor in the moving process. Took good care of all furniture and "fragile" boxes. And they moved me on a very HOT July day...they still did a Great Job!

They were fantastic.I have never met a more professional, courteous and caring group of people in my life. Tony and his group of Incredibles moved every bit of my stuff like it was gold. They took great care not to damage any walls or floors. Tony disconnected my washer at one end and connected at the other. Moving is very stressful and they kept me laughing and light-hearted the entire time. I would highly, highly recommend TEACHERS MOVERS to anyone.....Service With A Smile!

I contacted Teachers Moving after a terrible experience with the movers who moved me out of my previous home. The previous movers still had my stuff in storage so I had no choice but to use them. I needed Teachers to move only the furniture from my apartment. I was in a bind and needed someone on very short notice. I contacted Rick on Monday and he was able to accommodate a Friday morning move. The crew showed up on time. They were a great bunch of guys. They immediately went to work and even took a few other things for me that I hadn't requested originally. They moved quick, but made sure that my things were taken care of. The job went quicker than I had anticipated and smoother than I could have hoped for. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know.

I contacted Teacher's Moving, Inc., for a quote to move items I had in a Storage Facility to a POD located in the driveway of my home. I had called three different companies and got three different quotes, and Teacher's Moving was the best one. I can't say enough about the professionalism of this group, everything went very smoothly from the beginning to the end. What I was told is exactly what happened. The three movers (Andre, Rob & Aaron) who arrived at the storage facility were punctual, professional and did a great job. They took great care in the handling of all of the items to be moved, and treated them as if it was their own. They carefully wrapped all of the furniture and gently moved everything out of the storage unit. into their truck. They explained and pointed out things that I needed to know. I was very pleased and impressed with how well they worked as a Team and got the job done in a timely manner. The same care was given when we arrived at my house. They helped me when I have a problem opening the POD door, and took great care when they moved the items from their truck to the POD. They placed the items in the POD very neatly and actually arranged them so it would make it easier for me to access the items that I needed quickly. And, I can actually walk into the POD because they place everything in a U-Shape. This is exactly what I wanted. It was a very considerate of them to do this for me. I want to Thank the people at Teacher's Moving, Inc., especially Andre, Rob & Aaron, for being so efficient, and the people I spoke to over the phone, and I think their names were Tom, Richard, and David. All my phone calls were answered promptly, or if I had to leave a message I was quickly called back. They were patient and easy to work with and answered all my questions. It's a great Company and I would definitely highly recommend them and use them again.

From first call to when the three movers pulled away, it was fabulous! They were considerate, thorough, respectful, careful with all my furniture and very pleasant. They exceeded my expectations!

We called on short notice (less than 2 weeks prior to needing to move) and Rick came out just a couple days later. We walked through the house, he was very pleasant and explained their process and provided an emailed estimate the next morning. The crew showed up on time, the entire crew walked through the house and made us feel very at ease with their process. They wrapped up the furniture in blankets, stretched wrapped the couches, took all the boxes from all floors including a basement storage unit. They all were very professional and easy to work with. They did bring an extra man, which changed the per hour requirement, but it ended up needing that person. The original estimate was a min of 8 hrs for 4 guys. They brought 5 guys and the minimum went away but they still worked 7.5 hrs (they were there for 8 minus lunch). All in all we have only found one item that was damaged which is really good for moving.
