Doug and Derek (office) were always responsive to calls and emails, making it clear they wanted to assist me. They gave reasonable pricing, and adjusted the price down when the scope of work was not as extensive as first thought. Matt and his helper were excellent. They did a great job and paid attention to details, and were very clean, attentive and patient especially in dealing with my elderly upstairs tenant. Thank you!

The Mr Handy guys were ready, willing, and able! They quickly removed the pieces & managed to fit everything in their truck - like solving a puzzle. They were professional, friendly, clean, strong, and respectful. Always a pleasure with Mr Handy.

Very professionally done, home was spotless clean, very pleased with the work completed. Used Mr Handy for several projects would recommend.

First, we have not had good luck with any kind of help. They either or late getting back to us or over-priced. I called Derek of Mr. Handy and set up a Sat. estimate. He showed up right on time , gathered all the info (msmts,material,etc) & said he would email us an estimate in a couple days. 2 days later the estimate arrived & we considered it reasonable. After giving him the go-ahead he he said he could start within a week to 10 days. Our place is a shore condo & we are not there during the week so we provided a key. 2 weeks later we went down to see a finished job that looked better than we imagined. To install the new floor he had to tear up the old one which is a messy job. The kitchen was in clean, pristine condition after he was done. The entire job was paid for after completion. Mr. Handy personnel came and looked over the work that had to be done. They also pointed out a few areas where something should be done so that the house would have better cover from the cold. His team came when they said they would. They were professional and cleaned up the work site in a workman like manner. I would gladly hire them again.

WENT VERY SMOOTH FROM START TO FINISH. DEREK AND HIS CREW WERE CONSTANTLY PROFESSIONAL AND ANSWERED ANY OF MY CONCERNS. WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY AND CAME IN RIGHT ON BUDGET. i had a leak in my bedroom from the bathroom above me. I called these guys and set up an appointment. They were on time and very professional. Their crew came out a week later and removed all the damaged drywall and installed new drywall. They then painted the entire room. I cannot be happier with my experience and would certainly recommend them to anyone else.

We had an amazing experience with Mr. Handy! We own a home at the Jersey Shore which our family enjoys immensely throughout the year. During the summer season however, we rent out our home in order to supplement the cost maintaining another home. Every couple of years we do our best to improve our beach house. This year, we decided it was time to update our kitchen and get rid of the older style carpets that ran through out the living room and up into the hallway area. My wife and I had used a general contractor in the past, but we were not satisfied with their work. We were looking for a new company to work with when we heard a commercial on one of the local radio stations advertising for general contracting needs. It was Mr. Handy. We didn?t waste much time calling. The first time we called, and every time we called after that, we were able to talk to a representative at the company! It was nice to not have to talk to a machine or wait days to hear back! We were so impressed by the commercial and phone call, we quickly set up a date and time for a meeting. At our meeting, we got to meet the owner of the company and several of his licensed professionals. They were all very friendly, clean, and professional. We wasted no time as we explained what we wanted done. Mr. Handy and his team, all listened intently and worked with me so that I understood exactly what it is that they would be doing to help my wife and I improve our home. We wanted to update our kitchen by having new cabinets installed, replace the sink, install new countertops, and replace the appliances. We also wanted a back splash installed. We were also interested in having the old carpets torn out and replace with hardwood floors. To finish it all off we also had Mr. Handy repair and paint all of the walls and ceilings and install bead board going the length of the hallway and down the stairs into the living room. Once the work got started, it became very clear that Mr. Handy and team was very clean. They kept a very clean work space as the continued to dismantle my old kitchen and tear out my old carpet. Mr. Handy can literally do it all as I would find out. Mr. Handy and team took care of every aspect. I never had to make a bunch of phone calls to various different places to get different things done. Mr. Handy took care of everything from beginning to end. My experience with Mr. Handy went so well, my wife and I are looking forward to working with them in the future. They provided, efficient, clean, and comprehensive service. Our new kitchen and Common room look magnificent and has brought more value to our beach house! ,

The crew arrived exactly when they said they would. The entire crew were all very polite, and respectful of our property. They made sure they left our home clear of any work related materials when they were done the job. Would recommend Mr Handy, Derek Misterman to anyone that wants work done in or around their home. Very professional and affordable.
