I needed repair work done in my garage due to Hurricane Sandy. It took 4 phone calls to get them to come out, then 3 service calls to get it done properly. When I called to get clarification of the bill and complain about the lack of service, they started yelling at me. I've used them before and it's not the first time I had to have them come out twice to do the same job. clearly don't care about quality, customer service or professionalism. I won't be using them again and suggest no one else uses them either.

They were prompting reasonable, and courteous. They responded expediently and did a fantastic job.

Our AC was not producing cold air although system seemed to be running. Called out Allegretto. Arrived promptly. Technician said he was the brother of the owner. He never looked at the blower unit in our attic. Said it just needed freon, although his readout said it was on the low end of the acceptable level. He pumped it up with some more freon. We noticed the air coming out was not much cooler and we asked him about it. He said it might take a few hours to cool the house off, which surprised us because it is not a large house. We went out to the boardwalk and came back a few hours later. The system was no longer working. Called Allegretto back out. Different technician this time. He inspected the blower in the attic and found that the insulation on the inside top cover of the blower housing had come loose and was blocking the air flow to the blower, which caused the blower motor to burn out. He had to order a new blower motor and was able to replace it the next day. I called the owner because the first technician had misdiagnosed the issue without even looking at the blower. Before the technician came I had a working blower motor. After he left it died. I felt they had some responsibility in the motor burning out and asked him to work with me on the cost. He wouldn't budge. My overall impression: they performed an incomplete system evaluation, they misdiagnosed the issue, and they showed a lack of ownership of shared responsibility in the motor burning out. I will say that the second technician that came out was thorough and helpful, but that was not enough to change this bad experience. I will never use this company again.

The problem was not correctly diagnosed and continued after service agent left. Called in second company to repair unit and that person identified a faulty gas valve. I was charged a service call in spite of the fact that mechanic couldn't identify the problem. This was the second service call for the same problem.

I would recommend them to everybody. He can do anything. His price's are good. He is a good general plumber.
