+ -1 moreInitially contacted contractor through Angie's list. Jeff Pasternak owner/operator responded immediately. An appointment was scheduled for an estimate. I wanted a stone border down the side of my driveway, and along the gardens in the front and side of my house. I wanted several bushes, along with topsoil and mulch. As I had never had professional landscaping done on my property, I was hoping for suggestions, rather he seemed hesitant with my requests. He took pictures, measured, and would get back to me by the end of week. I contacted him almost a week later after no response, and almost immediately he emailed an estimate along with pictures of my property with the enhancements we had discussed. I really liked what he had done with the photos. I responded with some concerns which he answered, and left it at that.

+ -1 moreJeff was great. He always took time to understand what I was looking for, made suggestions, which I had asked for and did the work quickly. His pricing was very reasonable and his work was very professional. I look forward to hiring him again for some more work that I need to do. Jeff also found a tree for us to put in front yard to replace one that had died. It was different that most trees we have seen And I am looking forward to seeing it when it grows taller and fuels out. Overall we were extremely happy with the work provided.
Description of Work: Jeff did the landscaping around our above ground pool, which included top soil, stone and about 37 plants. He also took care of some weeding and applying mulch to our front yard.

+ 0 moreIt went well. We had a weather delay, but he stayed in touch with us and then showed up when he said and did the work in the timeframes he promised. We were and continue to be very happy with his work.
Description of Work: He landscaped the front of the house. He was one of three landscapers we called in after we had a new porch and walkway installed. He designed the flower and shrub arrangement and provided an excellent drawing of his plans. We liked his plans and the price the best and hired him.

+ -1 moreMy dealings with Jeff Pasternak can be best described as a complete waste of my valuable time.
Description of Work: There was no work ever done. I originally contacted Jeff Pasternak about the installation of landscape lighting at our house. He came out to the house to speak with me and at the conclusion of the meeting I asked him to send me a proposal as soon as possible. Over the next 2-3 weeks, I communicated several times with Jeff via e-mail and phone always asking him for the proposal. I never received anything from him or any response as to why he could not provide me with a proposal. I don't believe that Jeff ever had any intention of doing business with me but for some reason he could not tell me this.
