I can't say enough good things about Steve Harvey and the wonderful crew he has working for him. The guys were professional in every way, arriving at 8 am on the dot and leaving at 5. They kept the mess to a minimum and put maximum effort into doing a superior job. I missed their smiling faces when they were gone! My house has never looked better!

Fast, perfectly and painlessly! The painters arrived at 8:30 on the dot and worked until 4:30 with a short break for lunch. When they left each day, the house was tidy and clean. The men were friendly, competent, and did a crisp, professional job.

Steve only hires the best - his crew is professional and talented. We've used Steve's services on our past 2 houses. The quality of the workmanship doesn't change - excellent results - the crew cleaned up after themselves and were extremely respectful and professional. We will continue to use Steve's services as long as he's in business!

Steve and I settle on price in July. Work was finally scheduled and completed in October. Steve power washed the house and his crew came by the next week to do an incredible amount of scraping and other surface prep. After scraping they primed the entire house, replaced deteriorated shakes and applied a finish coat. They did a phenomenal job. I most certainly recommend them and will hire them again.

They are very neat. They do a good job. They are knowledgeable of the painting process and products. They are very thorough.

The three man crew arrived promptly on the first day and began to strip the wallpaper while Steve went to pick up the paint colors we had selected. The crew was very well organized and clean. The crew foreman, who has been with Steve Harvey for over a decade, was very precise and guided his men every step of the way. Overall they worked very hard for four full days and did a great job.

Workers were very neat and the job was done in time as had been initially promised. Steve Harvey and his workers were very pleasant. The main reason I don't give an A for professionalism is that a different kind of paint than the one I had specified was about to be used. Fortunately I was there to catch this in time. Steve quickly provided the correct paint and the job proceeded very well. I would use this painter again.

They are very professional and excellent painter. I have used them for about five years now. But his price was a bit high. I probably could have got someone to do it for a lower price, but he does excellent work and so I used him.

We got Steve's name from Angie's List. He was very friendly and professional, showed up exactly when he said he would and the people working with him were also fine. The work was done neatly and thoroughly. He gave us an estimate to do two coats over some dark paint that really didn't adequately cover. We discussed the situation and agreed on a third coat at a very fair additional charge.

Steve Harvey is wonderful. He is professional, punctual, pleasant and forthright. His estimate was competitive, and he clearly communicated what was involved in the job, making suggestions (including ways to save money) and sharing his knowledge. I had estimates from three other area painting contractors and I definitely felt that Steve was the most competent person. I was absolutely right to go with him. The weather had put him behind on a few jobs and he checked in regularly with me to let me know what was happening in terms of scheduling. My husband and I live in Manhattan most of the year and Steve made himself available to meet and go over contracts, etc., when we were available. Once we set the start-date for the job, things moved along as scheduled. His crew was professional, punctual, neat, respectful and very communicative. The point person on the job was receptive to questions. Both workers were a pleasure to have around and worked quickly and quietly. They never left my yard a mess and were careful around trees, shrubs and garden beds. The entire job went smoothly, there were no "surprises," and I would not hesitate to hire him again. As a matter of fact, the interior needs to be done at some point soon and it's unlikely I will reach out to anyone else to do it.

This job was performed on my elderly father's house and the entire job went very well. Steve showed up promptly to give me an estimate, detailing what exactly would be done. Once approved, he gave me an estimated start date. He called to tell me when he would be there to powerwash and showed up as promised. All powerwashing of the house exterior and concrete surfaces took approximately 3 hours. Front of the house is painted wood shingles, all doors and windows are wooden, garage has heavy wooden doors, sides and back of the house are vinyl sided. Concrete surfaces included walkways, patio and garage apron. After approximately one week, Steve contacted me to let me know that they would start painting on Monday, 7/18/11, at 8am. They showed up promptly on the promised date. The crew worked full days, breaking briefly for lunch, and cleaned up nicely each day. When the crew had finished painting the doors and windows on the back of the house, Steve applied a cleaning solution to back roof shingles that had darkened from the elements. The men were all very nice and helpful...especially with removing/replacing the triple hung storm windows/screens from each window. Window trim was reglazed if necessary...prior to painting. Much attention was given to detail...mailbox, handrails, house numbers, garage door handles/locks, dinner bell. All windows and doors were checked upon completion to ascertain that they were fully operable and not stuck. Clean-up was excellent. Painting work was completed after 3 full (very warm) days. I am very pleased, have absolutely no complaints and would whole-heartedly recommend the services of this team of total professionals to anyone.
