The Longest Yard

I'm so grateful to have found The Longest Yard for a floor install. We needed to list a deceased relative's house and have a new floor installed in the kitchen before the listing went live. Jeanette and Robert went out of their way to accommodate us on extremely short notice. They are a pleasure to deal with and offer competitive pricing on quality flooring. The install went smoothly, and the floor looks beautiful. If only my husband's aunt could've lived to enjoy such a beautiful, new floor. The Longest Yard has my warmest and highest recommendation.

They did a fantastic job. I originally when to a big box store to get a quote but it took me 20 minutes just to get someone to the flooring section and schedule a measurement. Jeanette was very easy to work with, and spent a good amount of time with me selecting the right carpet for my needs. She kept me up to date on delivery dates and times and was able to e flexible when I needed it. Robert and his team arrived when they said they would. The carpet was perfectly installed. The kids love their new bedroom.

He came early, called before he came and went right to work. He knew just what to do and asked me if i wanted to place it one way or the other. He had some good ideas.

Their showroom has a huge selection of flooring, and the owners were very knowledgeable about which color or material goes well with my old kitchen. Will definitely hire them again!

From start to finish, doing business with The Longest Yard was an absolute pleasure. Jeanette was a pleasure to deal with and made this process as painless as possible for us. We originally chose a carpet called "Fog", and unfortunately found out that it would be unavailable prior to our move in date due to a production delay. To make up for our disappointment at having to forgo the carpet that we really wanted, Jeanette offered us an upgraded carpet pad at no extra cost. The carpet was installed over the weekend, and we cannot be any happier with the results. I definitely would go to The Longest Yard again for any future flooring needs.

Everything went smoothly. Sales and service were great. Carpets lovely and installed professionally and timely. Flooring was a difficult task in that tile had to be removed but done neatly and new flooring installed and looks great.

Boy ol Boy where do I start? I first called and Jeannette thought i was a telemaketer because i was an out of state phone number but thank goodness she picked up. I was looking for a commercial floor for my business in Montclair and i had quite of few demands based on the chemicals we clean with and so on and Jeannette and Robert made all the phone calls to the manufacturers to put my mind at ease and to select the best floor for my business. We agreed on a price and a few weeks later Robert ripped our old floor out, layed new sub floor and installed the new. Powerhouse Tattoo in Montclair has a beautiful new look thanks to Jeannette and Robert and we couldnt be happier! Not only did we get a new floor but we made some great new friends!

Dealing with both Robert and Jeannette was an absolute pleasure. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They walked me through the process. The floor came out beautiful. Robert managed moving all the furniture and appliances for me and put everything back. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Longest Yard about replacing cracked ceramic tiles in the kitchen or perhaps replacing the entire floor. Robert came to look at the work. He mentioned a product called CoreTec Plus in the event that we decided to go for a new floor. The benefits were that it could be laid directly on the tiles so there would be no labor it ripping out the old floor. We went to his store to see samples of the CoreTec Plus. Here we met Jeanette who showed us that product and others that were comparable. She graciously allowed us to take samples home to help us decide. We decided to have a new floor installed as Robert recommended. The day of the installation, Robert arrived on time and completed the work in four hours. He was extremely professional, competent and neat. I highly recommend Longest Yard and I will call them for future projects.

From start to finish, Jeanette and Robert were wonderful! We stopped by the store on a Saturday to discuss our options. Jeanette was friendly and extremely helpful in guiding us to options that would work for us both stylistically and practically. Robert was able to come out to our home to give us an estimate that very evening, and we scheduled the work on the spot. Our runner was installed about a week and a half later, and we are so happy with the results. Jeanette and Robert were communicative, punctual, honest, and professional, not to mention their exceptional pricing. The Longest Yard is A+, and we would recommend them to anyone!
