Very thorough cleaning and clean up

The team arrived on time! They were prepared for the job. They were pleasent, and respectful. They knew their jobs and got right to work. They cleared the ducts of filth and sanitized them. On our job we had a 2 person crew and they seemed to work well and efficiently together. When they completed the job they made sure that all of the holes they needed to make were patched and repaired any duct insulation that needed it. The job was completed quickly and completely. I would have liked to see them whisk out the returns from the top down first but they only blew air down from the top and sprayed sanitizer into the registers. Overall, I give them a good review and I was generally happy with the outcome.

Vincent was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, explaining what he would be working on, doing an incredibly thorough job, and even going above and beyond by correcting/fixing things that the previous cleaners had done wrong. We really appreciated his attention to detail, and the air flow is cleaner and better in the house as a result. Highly recommended!

I'm very happy with the work performed by this company plus the technician explained to me in detail of the work he was going to do as well as the correct way the dryer vent should have been installed before as the the exhaust vent was connected to the lower vent instead of the higher vent, saying that connecting it to the higher vent gave it more room for the lint to collect before it started clogging up the exhaust. The air duct cleaning was also conducted professionally and I have no complaint about their work. I would hire them again the next time my heating and cooling ducts needs cleaning. I'd recommend them to my friends.

Vincent arrived on time for duct cleaning service He evaluated and discussed needed service prior to beginning work. Option of cleaning the blower motor which was not included in the quote price for service was discussed. We were disturbed about the additional cost, Vincent remained calm and presented the option and additional information. We did choose to include cleansing of the blower motor. Ask specific questions about what is included in the service purchased. We are satisfied with the service provided.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM! Benjamin was honest, knowledgeable, and professional. Deciding to do business with No. 1 cleaners was made easy because of my experience with the technician Benjamin. He made me feel informed and also confident in the decision I made to not only clean the ducts in my house but also remove the mold and dust that had accumulated in my A/C system. I would recommend the company to anyone but would especially recommend speaking with Benjamin!

Bejamin is the technician. He arrived within the timeframe provided. He was personal, courteous and seems professional. I was a little concerned that the new flexible ducts installed in the remodeling last year may be damaged by the stirring device to dislodge the dust in the vent pipes. Benjamin assured me that the device will not hurt the pipes. After counting the number of ducts to be cleaned, he also inspected the blower and pointed out how dirty the blower was. He quoted me $478 for cleaning the blower, indicating that it is a lot more complicated and time consuming to clean a commercial grade blower, which is the type of blower installed in my house. Seeing how dirty the blower is, I realized that the blower was the source of dust build-up in the house, I agreed to cleaning the blower, even though the price seemed high without doing more research on what a fair price should be. To be fair, their quoted price at $299 for cleaning the vent is not bad. I just noticed that they are running a special at $199. But they didn't offer me the special to me when I first called. Perhaps for compensation, Benjamin did not charge me extra cost for additional vents above 15. He also sanitized all ducts and vents without extra charge. I was a little surprised how quickly he finished cleaning the air duct vents, probably less than 30 minutes for nearly 20 vents. I checked a few vents, they seemed cleaned but I didn't check the registers. He had a giant vacuum placed in the front yard, blowing dust from the duct system against my azalea shrub in the open air. He asked me to witness the process when he was doing so. I was curious why all the dust wasn't collected into a bag. He explain that the vacuum can operate in optimal efficiency when not attached to a bag. He said they always asked the customers if it is ok not to attach the bag to the vacuum. He might have but I don't recall. A few days later, I noticed that a few branches of the azalea shrub where the vacuum air was blowing against had dried out and died. After that, he spent the remaining 3 hours or so, cleaning the duct in the basement and the blower. I asked him to take a few pictures for me before and after he cleaned the blower. I also looked at the blower before he re-installed the blower back in place. It does look very clean. After air duct cleaning, I asked Benjamin to clean up all debris before leaving. He did remove the obvious ones. After he left, I still found debris or dust in a number of places. So I vacuumed the whole house again. Overall, I think Benjamin did a good job cleaning the air duct. It has been a week sine the cleaning. The dust doesn't seem to build up as fast as in the past. I would wait for another week or two to allow for better comparison. I think Benjamin could do a little better cleaning after the service is done, and be more cautious when blowing the vacuum air against shrubs. I would recommend No. 1 Cleaner again but be cautious of the issues I mentioned above.

Excellent. They we’re professional and friendly. I asked several questions and they were all answered. They did not act as though they were in a big hurry to get to the next job. The work was done thoroughly and they cleaned up everything. I greatly appreciated their work and their manner. I would definitely recommend them and will use their services again.

I found this company through Angie's List to clean my vents and dryer vent. Their response was quicker than any of the other companies I reached out to and they provided me with useful information about the process. Benjamin Maitre was the technician that came and he was extremely thorough and professional. He walked me through everything that he was doing and was able to repair items that were contributing to poor air flow on the second floor of my home. He really took his time to make sure the job was right. He really went above and beyond! I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them again!
