Description of Work: I bought a new condo and Remberto and his team painted all of the walls and trims. In addition, I asked Remberto to install a marble backsplash in my kitchen and his team did an excellent job. I ordered the marble myself and they installed it in 2 days.

Description of Work: I had my front porch painted in November, 2011 and some small carpentry work done. Everything was done well and this company is a pleasure to work with. This was the second time that I used the company and I intend to reserve time in the Fall again for more painting. I think that the price is fair. They are prompt and neat and also flexible. I had intended to do the painting myself but realized it was a job much bigger than I had expected and I asked if they would be available to do it. There was no hesitation, it was agreed upon, and the work was really well done. Remberto, the owner, is not always present but he comes in the morning and in the evening to check what has been done. He is approachable and always polite. I was aware that he calls the workers over the course of the day to check on the progress of the job.

Description of Work: Plaster repair wall and ceiling paint 3 windows sealing trim one color, walls a different color.

Description of Work: Remberto was early for the initial consultation. The job was to plaster the walls of my 100 year old bedroom and paint the cealing, trim and windows white and the walls a pale blue 2 coats each. I had already purchased the paint. Remberto was late for the start of the job, though once started the demo work and repair was done fast, clean and very professional.The third visit he was very late but once again he stayed and worked till the plastering had been sanded and it's second coat was finished. He started the painting. The the last day of the job I had an issue with my job and Remeberto accomidated me with no problem. He arrived early and I of course got held late at my job and he was so kind and waited for me to show. I am so ashamed to have kept him waiting when he was going out of his way to accomidate me. He finished up the final bit of sanding and the remaining painting that needed to be done plus any touch ups. The cealing still looks a bit rough but maybe when it's dry it will blend better. I wasn't looking for perfection as if it was to perfect it would make the rest of my 100 year old cealing look bad. So it's in keeping with the rest of the home.He left my room and my home clean. Remberto was pleasent, cheerful, respectful worker. I'd hire him for another job in a heartbeat. In fact I've taken his business cards to hand out to my clients who need work done. (I'm a hairdresser in an upscale salon).

Description of Work: Hercules Contracting gave us an estimate on installing metal railings on our front steps and also some deck work. Remberto answered the phone right away and scheduled the estimate two days later. He gave us the most reasonable estimate and seemed to know what he was talking about, so we decided to start with the front step railings. He measured the steps, gave us quotes for aluminum or steel railings; we decided on aluminum and he put in the order with the metal working company. After a week and a half the railings were constructed and they came to install them.

Description of Work: Hercules Home Improvements installed a garden window for us and surpassed our expectations on all issues. They were prompt, I called and Remberto, the owner answered immediately. We set up an appointment, got an estimate and the job was done the following week in less than a day. The crew all were friendly and knowledgeable and did great work. By the end of the job, we were like old friends and I would call them back or refer them to others anytime.

Description of Work: I contacted Hercules for an estimate to paint my upstairs hallway and 2 bedrooms, and also to retile my bathroom floor and change the vanity and toilet. I also asked him to replace the inside doors on the upstairs rooms. We settled on a time and date for him to come over. He came to my house at the time agreed upon and gave me a thorough written estimate. When I called him back to say that I would like to hire him, we agreed on a start date and he began work as promised. He did the work we had agreed upon and in addition there were a couple of extra things that I asked him to do, which he did. He completed all of the work in a timely fashion, the work was done well, and very neatly. The work area was cleaned up everyday. In addition they were extremely helpful. When it came time to put the toilet in, the one I had purchased was still in the box and when they opened it, it was cracked. They went to home depot and exchanged it for me. Also the faucets I had bought for the bathroom were the wrong type and they again went to home depot to replace them for me. I was at work all day while they were working so I was not able to run to the store. They were very respectful of my home. They stuck to their estimate with minor adjustments for the extra work I requested. The rooms they painted look great, there was a lot of prep work to be done and it was all taken care of. The new doors are perfect. The bathroom floor looks great along with the new vanity. I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate to finish an area less than 50 Sq.ft. In fact it was 3 out the 4 walls. This is a very small office space(7x7) underneath the stairs in the basement. I already did most of the work myself, framing, installed new window, and place sheetrock with one coat of compound. All I asked was to finish the last coat of compound, crown molding and base boards, paint, and install a floating floor. All materials supplied. This is less than a full days work- keep in mind how small the space is; His estimate was $1150!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is outrageous! When I asked what exactly he is charging for? His response," I have to make 4 trips to finish and gas costs alot." When his advertisement clearly states -"will not charge for travel". I really dont have the time to put in to finish this project but at this price, I will do it myself. I have many other projects that will cost more, e.g. A future addition 50x50= 1000 sq ft to be completed. I wont be calling him.

Description of Work: I needed some painting done in my mom's house arounbd the corner from mine. She wanted a living room, a hallway, two small foyers and 7 doors painted. The job also included 3 windows and woodwork. We picked out two colors plus a specific white for the ceilings and woodwork. One wall was an accent wall. I got quotes from 4 different painting companies. One was a little lower and two were higher. I decided to go with Hercules.

Description of Work: Hercules Home Improvement gave a quote about a month ago for replacing molding throughout the house like wood molding around the windows.

Description of Work: The first report I had sent in was for a ceiling repair. This time it was for painting our living and dining rooms and the wall going up the steps.

Description of Work: Replace/reinforced subfloor, installed engineered hardwood flooring, and laid tile on my shower walls and tile on my bathroom floor, grouted and sealed it.

Description of Work: I contacted the company and set up an appointment for an estimate. I was contacted promptly and a date was set. I met with Remberto, he assessed the room and gave me an estimate. I thought that it was a very fair price and I agreed to it right away. We set the dates for the work to be done. They arrived promptly, worked steadily and neatly. The work that was done was painting in an upstairs bedroom. The room needed to be finished with spackle (we had started it months ago), sanded, 2 coats of paint (walls and ceiling), and a radiator scraped and painted. The room looks beautiful and I have booked them to come again in November.

Description of Work: I used the services of Hercules Home Improvement 2 or 3 weeks ago for installing drywall in the ceiling, painting and plastering.

Description of Work: The kitchen ceiling had an unsightly area where (years ago) plumbers had to bust through the ceiling to get at the base of the bathtub on the second floor. Also, same area, the wallpaper above the stove was dirty and grimy; some tiles at the base of the cupboard were missing. Lastly, one bedroom upstairs was in serious need of a paint job.
