Ceramic tile kitchen floor,sheet rocked hallway and painted, Sheetrock 3 bedrooms and painted, inserted recess lights fixtures, replaced molding for wood floor.

It went very well. I felt the quality of work done was very good and the communication was excellent.

Herimberto arrived on time, was courteous and knowledgable. In discussing redoing the wall tile of my bathroom, he was informative but he asked what if they messed up the floor tile while ripping out the wall tile and that took me by surprise. I answered that we had considered redoing the floor but we thought it was in good shape. When he gave me the final estimate he had automatically included doing the floor but I did not recall asking for that to be redone. He gave me a quote basically for refinsihing the whole bathroom, floor included for 3800 which I thought was definitely comparable. The only problem was that he had other jobs going and couldn't start for a week and it would take him ten days. I went wtih another estimate, someone who could begin the following monday. I would consider this company for other things. As I said the timing was crucial for me.

He was the only one to respond quickly and provide a very reasonable quote within two days of when i first called, and he was there promptly for an all day job a few days later. If you are prepared, ready with the right information and materials, Remberto will not let you down. I pre-painted my new moulding and bought calk and two transitions. He performed all the work between 8am and 3pm. He had the right equipment, adjusted quickly and did a very good job. He tolerated my presence very well and worked well with me to solve the little problems that always come up.

I was finally able to speak with Remberto on 8/28/13 who told me he was really busy (after he apologized for not knowing who I was...lol). And probably would not be able to give me a quote for another month. Initially, I wasn't bothered by it since I wanted the work done before winter hit. But now, it is 2 months past that last conversation. I'm guessing he doesn't need the work. I am not going to chase any company down.

I was very impressed with his professionalism and ability to complete two tasks for me so quickly & competently!!! I loved his work ethic & I am looking forward to calling upon him again to complete the rest of the items I have on my list ! Would definitely recommend him! Very reasonable as well!

Perfect. When they needed more materials, they went to Home Depot to get them and didn't charge us extra.work was completed by Friday.

The appointment time came and went with no word from Mr. Santos. At about 12:40, I called him and asked what happened. He said he got busy on another job but really had no excuse for why he did not bother to call. He then said he might be able to come by at 3 PM and asked if that would be all right. If I did not call this guy, I just never would have heard from him.

Called Memberto on the phone and he expressed how busy he was and had a month wait, all I wanted was for him to come to my house and provide an estimate for painting my entire first floor as well as some carpentry work. I was even trying to be accmodating and told him if he was that busy I would be flexible with times including offering later evenings as an option. He asked me to text him my information, address etc and I did just that. I even confirmed through text he got my information and he replied he did. Memberto promised to come look at the work I needed done this past Labor Day weekend but never showed up. I didn't get a phone call, a text or anything. I tried texting him, and got no reply. Tried calling, got voicemail and I left a message. I let 2 days pass giving him the benefit of the doubt that things came up but still didn't hear from him and decided to call him from my work number, he answered. I asked him what happened and he claims he had no recollection about the appointment. Never apologized for missing the appointment or the mix up. Offered to come over the weekend to look at the job (same thing he told me in our previous conversation). I asked him to please be in touch with me going forward and he then told me "You know what, find someone else" and hung up on me. Wow, he's the owner and treats potential customer this way?? I'm not sure what his work is like but it must be far better than his attitude because I can't see how he could possibly stay in business. Too bad because I had A LOT more work for him too.

We can't say enough positive things about Umberto. He is prompt, hardworking and very skilled. Working in extreme heat during the recent heat wave, he stilled performed the tasks in a highly professional manner and on schedule. Considering our home is 100+ years old, nothing is plumb and level in the house to begin with so he needed to make critical compensations during his reframing of the windows and doors in order to make everything look good. Our experience found Umberto to be neat and respectful of the property he is working in. Umberto is skilled in many areas and can move from rough/finish carpentry work to painting or electrical etc. all in one morning. It seems he does it all. In addition, he is very pleasant and willing to make the customer aware of repair or material options. We are extremely pleased with our experience and definitely plan to call on Umberto for future repairs.

Humberto is very professional and so is his staff. Really great person and very knowledgable. Him and his staff are also VERY clean. They clean as they go and really take care of your property. What a great experience and we have used him on quite a few projects and always great results.

I found Hemberto here on Angie's List, as my elderly parents needed various work done around their home. They made a list of all the tasks they needed completed. They called Hemberto for an estimate and he came to their home the same day they calleD. He provided a clear, written proposal, and he was very neat and personable. My father had intended to get a second estimate but he was so impressed with Hemberto they hired him on the spot! He was willing to start the very next day, but as it was scheduled to rain, they decided on a different day. He obtained all the materials needed for the job, so my parents didn't have to get them. He was very punctual and neat, and did a great job on all the tasks. At the end, my parents added another task of cleaning out their attic, which had a lot of debris from a recent roof replacement. He only charged them an additional $50 for this large task, and they were thrilled. They would definitely use Hemberto again, and have already recommended him to two of their friends. I will also be calling him to help me get some jobs crossed off my "to do" list at my own house.

Great experience. Remberto was easy to deal with- very nice guy, easy to reach. Reasonable price compared to others. Excellent job. They came on time, and finished on schedule. I would definitely use him again.

We picked Remberto after talking to mutiple contractors. He is a very sincere and genuine guy. He gives a quote mostly on the spot and is very transparent - no hidden costs, etc. Our experience with Remberto (post job) was very positive. He is extremely professional - if something goes wrong, he will respectfully do what it takes to fix it. He sticks to his quote even if it takes longer than he anticipates. He was flexible and accomodating to our needs throughout the project. Overall, very trustworthy - doesn't try to cut corners. We had one mixup where one of his guys messed up something on the floor - but Remberto responded well and it was all good in the end.

Remberto's work was impeccable. I have tough walls (plaster over concrete) and different levels at floor transitions. All of the trim installed looks great and was caulked and painted to perfection. I was not able to be there while he was working, so I left him keys to get in and out as necessary during the day. I found him completely trustworthy and everything was clean and dust free when I came home from work at the end of the day. He performed the service in a shorter amount of time than originally promised (2 days as opposed to three). My experience with Hercules and Remberto was great and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future

The process was very simple. He came over, gave me a fair price, and the job was completed effortessly.

I had a very positive experience with Hercules Home Improvement when they did the bathroom renovation to my studio apartment. The price was fair, and Remberto was extremely trustworthy. He showed up every morning on time with his team, and kept me updated throughout the project. He was also very flexible with meeting me at the apartment, and was willing to work around my schedule. There were some unexpected issues in my bathroom (mold, rotted insulation and framework, ventilation problems) but Remberto offered solutions to fix the problems and came in at budget. The bathroom turned out better than I expected, with beautiful work done on the wall and floor tile. Remberto was also very respectful of my apartment, covering my furniture and floors and protecting the space. I would highly recommend Hercules Home Improvement, and plan on using them again for my kitchen renovation.

It took about 3 visits to let the plaster dry, etc. They were very professional and cleaned up thoroughly after each time. They came in according to my schedule in the evening and on Saturday. Very painless.

I hired him to put in a new railing to the exterior basement, which had to be according to code so I could sell the house. He submitted three different plans to the town office, none of which they liked. I ended up having a friend/contractor who knows all the people at that city hall do the work. I paid "Hercules" for his time and effort, not for work done, but I do know he was diligent and sent me copies of the assorted plans he had drawn up (most of which looked like the plans which were approved for my friend). He earned an A for effort.

I liked that Hercules Home Improvement were on time with the quote and gave me the details of what they would be doing.

during the construction I walked through and noticed that the closet had been built oddly around an existing ceiling light and I asked the light to be moved elsewhere - this was easily accommodated and professionally handled. I am very impressed and pleased.
