Description of Work: Flue-tech sent to men to do a chimney inspection for two fireplaces. They cleaned one flue, but determined the second was covered in creosote, had cracks in the interior mortar and needed more attention. Upon inspecting the exteriors and roof areas of each chimney there were many other details needing attention. Estimated costs were over $1200.00

Description of Work: Flue Tech came to vacuum out my dryer house - while doing so they must have dislodged the hose altogether - therfore i had dust all over from the dryer. They were non committal on when they could send someone back and when they did he pulled out my washing machine and did not put it back - he said that it had to stay out because of the dryer hose - keep in mind that i never had a problem prior to Flue Tech coming to my house - the owner is non committal on when he can come - i own two house znd 5 buildings and have never had so many problems with a service person. I came to Angies list bevcause i thought that i would only find top quality vendors - this is not the case and when i called customer service to ask for help getting this vendor back to my house i was told that my membership did not allow me to call in. What kind of nonsense is that when excellent vendor relationship is what Angies list is supposed to be about. | |Debbie Cardile

Description of Work: Mike donned paper shoes and laid down a drop cloth in front of our fireplace to protect our carpeting. He cleaned the fireplace chimney and |wood burning stove insert. He went on the roof and checked the chimney to the fireplace and the chimney to the furnace. He also checked the inside of the wood burning stove for any problems. He found nothing wrong with the chimneys or stove.
