Description of Work: Hired to clean chimney (new home I purchased and used fireplace all winter). Mike was very courteous and professional. Most importantly honest! He noticed I needed extensive cleaning - using chemicals - but he did not have time to do job when there. He offered to have current invoice applied to future chemical cleaning and I will be having them return in September, just before new fireplace season, to chemically clean chimney. I will ask to have Mike return, as he was very professional, respectful and honest; hopefully he will be technician who returns.

Description of Work: The representatives from the company came to the house and looked the chimney flu over. They did not clean the chimney at all. Then they gave us a written estimate of $695 to perform the service. They were supposed to clean the fireplace flu for the $99 voucher we had. That was the understanding.

Description of Work: Got a deal on chimney cleaning. Good follow up on appointment setting and were punctual. Did the cleaning and did inspection. Were very professional in providing assessment of other recommended repairs (all minor)to the exterior aspects of fireplace. Explained pros/cons of recommendations in a very pleasant non-pushy way. Let me know that nothing was serious, and that the recommendations would likely reduce later more expensive repairs, and could do them now or later (a lot of companies push to have it be done that day, since they are there), or next year (since he encouraged me to have my chimney cleaned yearly based on the heavy use it has). I elected to have nothing additional at the time and he thanked me for listening to his recommendations. This was "totally" different from other vendors used in past where they find a hair line crack in the exterior brick and tell you that you are risking your family's lives if they dont seal the crack and apply a water barrier coating. Nice, honest people.

Description of Work: Cleaned the chimney flue. Also looked over the furnace to assure it is working properly.

Description of Work: Flue Tech came to my residence and installed a cap on the flue. They arrived on time and did the work requested. The price was $20 higher than the deal I bought because they said the size of the cap that was required was larger than the the one in the deal I purchased. They provided unsolicited quotes for other recommended work on the bill. The job I purchased was a contingency requirement for the sale of the house and I was not interested in other work. When I requested it, they provided me with a bill that just showed the work completed and paid for, which I was able to forward to the buyer.

Description of Work: I feel the $99.00 special price was a come on they charged me the $99.00 then said the job was more work and charged me aprox $200.00 more. work was good but they did not clean up outside of house properly and had my basement drain overflow and water came in house.
