Very thorough and efficient job cleaning our dryer vent. Will definitely be using them again next year.

I am satisfied with the work they performed and I will be scheduling them to come back to install a custom double flue cap and needed exterior chimney repairs.

They did a good job, but they are not exactly customer friendly. The technician who came out was trying to upsell me the entire time. He also gave me false information on cleaning the chimney so that I would use his services instead of doing it myself. He also refused to clean the ashpit saying that it is better to just leave it there when that is actually a health code violation. He was trying to sell me a few products I didn't need because I guess he thought I was completely ignorant on the subject. That is what I mean by not being customer friendly. He was not looking out for what I needed he was just trying to sell as much as he could. They did have competitive pricing on what I had services, but I am not sure about the other stuff that they proposed. They did a good job. They came out the next day and were here when they said they were going to be. I really didn't care of the upselling.

Great. They inspected the chimney, cleaned it and made recommendations to further improve the chimney.

They were on time, did their thing, were mindful and friendly to my toddlers running around, and left again after cleaning up. Everything went exactly how I expected it and smoothly.

The technicians were on time, and they were very professional.

Mike and Dave did a great job inspecting and cleaning our chimney. Mike thoroughly explained some issues that he saw during his inspection. We will use them to make our repairs. I also wanted to mention that Mary, the scheduler was excellent! We had to reschedule once and she was so nice about it. She also kept me constantly updated on when the guys were going to arrive. Excellent customer service!

Great! Nick and Louis were quick, clean, and efficient. Nick answered all my questions and even showed me how to build the best fire.

They could not check the fireplace and it would cost more money

Did a good job, was responsive. It was clear they wanted to sell us on other services though. That part was kind of annoying.

The appointment was for a Saturday and I was told that the service person would be there between 1 and 3 p.m. The day of the appointment, there was heavy snow. However, I heard nothing from Flue Tech (the company had both my email and phone number), so I assumed that they were coming. At 2.55 p.m. I called Flue Tech and was told that they would not be coming owing to weather conditions. The result was that I was stuck in the house all day waiting, and Flue Tech did not have the courtesy to contact me. I had to contact them. Poor business practice, I will not use them again. I have asked for a refund.

Work was a little expensive, but well done.

2nd time using Clue Tech and they were fantastic! I received a call that morning telling me when they would be coming and another call a few minutes prior to their arrival so I'd be ready. The guys laid paper down on my floors, cleaned my wood stove throughly, cleaned the entire chimney insert, vacuumed up any ashes and debris, performed an inspection and recommendation and were gone without a trace. They explained everything along the way and couldn't have been nicer or more patient. We'll definitely use them again.

Flue Tech was great, everything from scheduling to the actual appointment. The full team was pleasant, thorough and efficient. They recommended additional work we may need but were very honest about what was truly needed and what was cosmetic. I would highly recommend them to others and I would use them again.

It did not go well. The man from Flu Tech said that there were so many branches of trees that made their way into the chimney and came back for a more expensive check with a camera. He did some outside repair. Then he told me the inside showed a lot of missing joints in the flu which needed a lot work and resurfacing. This was after I had already paid $948 for the sweep and then camera, cleaning, and outside work. So he then gave me an additional $1875 to do the flu work. I later then called them back multiple times to give me a written report of the findings with the pictures that he took. The person answering the phone would always be nice and say he will relay the message and they will get back to me. They blew me off after I spent so much money to do some repairs and never called back or sent me the report I asked for, Needless to say, they are very expensive and their customer service stinks.

Technicians were on time and very helpful. They got right to work and did a thorough cleaning and inspection. Setting up an appointment was very easy.

They promptly came to our house and inspected and measured (for cap) our chimney. They quoted for the (custom made) cap, the cleaning, and a "crown encasement" to seal cracks and voids. They did the work in a professional and clean manner. I had asked that a third flue be cleaned; but was saved the expense when they told me that it had recently been cleaned and didn't need to be cleaned at this time. (I didn't know that as this is a new house for us - we figured to have all flues cleaned just to be sure) The large part of the cost was the cap and sealing. (Each flue cleaned cost $160) Good experience altogether.

The Technicians (Nick and Mike) arrived on time, were very polite and professional and were able to figure out why my dryer required two drying cycles instead of one. The venting hose was crushed behind the dryer and was not venting out properly. They replaced the flexible hose and cleaned the dryer vent. The dryer seems to work better now. From when they arrived to the end of the service was about 30 minutes.

I like they how professional. They were prompt, courteous and on time. They keep you in the loop, they are honest. The tech they sent was a good guy and was on point. I'll use them every other year when I need the service done.

I have never used Angi's List before, but needed my chimney cleaned so decided to try it. I picked the company with the highest recommendation in my area. Everything was very professional until it actually came to them showing up. They gave me a timeframe of 1-4pm. I arranged to have someone at my home from 1-4 (we work). At 10:30am they called and said that the workman can come early, by 11:15am. I already had the person who would be at my home adjust her schedule to be there between 1-4, so she was working in the morning and could not get to my home earlier. At 3:45pm they called to say that the workman was now running LATE and would be there between 4:30 and 5:00pm! My person had to leave by 4:30, so I had to cancel. I will never use Flue Tech and actually since my first experience on Angi's List was not good, I will not use Angi's List again and will try one of its competitors (like Houzz or Home Advisor). We are all busy people and if you know that a workman can get delayed on these types of jobs, then book LESS JOBS within that timeframe. Now I have to take the time to make sure that my credit card is not charged for this (non) service!

It went smoothly, although there's a slight hitch in the information transfer between Angie's List and Flue Tech. I purchased the deal through Angie's list and then called to schedule. They came on time as promised and did the work promptly. This is in comparison to East Coast Fireplace who told me in the appointment confirmation call that they would charge $100 just to look at the chimney and chimney cap installation would be separate charges on top of that.
