Description of Work: Purchased a Big Deal for chimney sweeping. They were busy so I had to wait a few weeks for an appointment, but they were very accommodating when I had a death in the family and had to reschedule a few days before the appointment. Tech showed up on time, worked clean, and efficiently. I would hire again.

Description of Work: Purchased deal for chimney sweep and learned subsequently that the deal includes the cleaning of one flue. My Chimney has 3, so we chose the flue for the boiler. The service went fine and the tech recommended that we reline the flue and provided us a quote. We got a 2nd opinion which confirmed that we need the flue to be re-lined. We did not go Flue Tech for the relining mainly because of the difference in the quote.

Description of Work: We originally used Flue Tech to repair some bricks that had fallen from our chimney. We asked for a quote at that time to convert to gas, which they provided. A short while later we contracted for them to do the conversion. |Their employees are top notch! They called every time to say when they would arrive and they were always on time. The technicians that gave us the quote and the ones that did the work were polite, knowledgable, and extremely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Flue Tech, and would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: Ordered a chimney cap. Company arrived and told me they do not have the type of cap needed on their truck! (Nowadays I could have sent them a picture before their appt.) So they said they could do it at a later date. The whole point was to have the cap replaced BEFORE snow fall/bad weather. They have not re-scheduled yet. Then they talked me into resealing the chimney which ends up being $1500. The money I thought I was saving by using their service ends up costing me (a senior citizen) exponentially more!!!
