They were flexible enough to come on a Saturday. They were extremely clean, explained everything they were doing, offered tips and didn't try to offer me things I didn't need or sell me on anything. They were great!

They had to cancel my first appointment at the very last minute and reschedule for another day. They were prompt on the new date. The tech was very neat and clean and spread a tarp around the area. Therefore there was no dust anywhere else in the room. He cleaned very thoroughly so the fireplace looks great now. I would never attempt this myself due to the needed tarps and vacuums. therefore I highly recommend Flue Tech to do the job.

We had them come to sweep our chimney last year. My wife was home and when I asked how it went she said fine. I asked how long they were there for and she said maybe 30 minutes. I was very surprised by this as that is too quick to have a proper job completed. I asked if they went on the roof, and she said no. I asked if they went to the basement (to sweep the furnace flue) and again she said no. When I called Flue Tech to ask why the tech didnt go on the roof he said it was strange and not the standard way to do it and would have to ask the technician and call me back. I waited 6 hours or more for a call back and then I had to call back and he couldnt give me a solid answer. I felt as if this was a bad job so I had someone else come to look at it. They performed a sweeping and asked who completed the job originally. I didnt say and I asked why? They said because it hardly looks as if it was swept. After some time, he pulled out a dead bird from our furnace piping which of course was never found from the original sweeping! I will never use Flue Tech again!

I wasn't there to witness the work but they told me it would take two days and they did it one. I inspected the work on the next Saturday and I was very pleased.

The communication was very good. They gave us a four-hour window for the work date, called to remind us twice in the preceding week, and called during the four hours to tell us when they would be here. They got to the work quickly and professionally, had all the equipment they needed, and did no damage to shrubbery or other plantings. The technicians were polite and answered all of my questions. I would definitely use this company again - perhaps for some fireplace work I've been putting off for years.

It all went great, very clean and professional. The bill came out to be $30 more than what was written on the invoice, they actually sent me a check for the difference! At first the offered 6 month finance and then where able to get me into 15 month financing, very helpful. I would defiantly recommend them!

The genthlemen were professional and made it a point to ensure that the they cleaned up after themselves. They noted some issues with the chimney overall and I just asked for a qoute to repair / fix / replace anything else that needed to be done so that we could operate the firepalce safely. They qouted another visit with a camera and then noted more things wrong. All in all in took several visits over several weeks and multiple qoutes to get the work finally done. Ultimately I was felt that every visit requred a new qoute and a new appointment several weeks out.

They gave me a window of 1-4 didn't get there till five, although they did call to advise they were held up.

I made an appointment on-line for one date, but they did not come on this date, Then they rescheduled for another date and came. Unfortunately I was not available but my wife handled the communication. They representative and came and did good work. However, they left written instructions on recommendations for the future in handwriting via a carbon copy, but I cannot understand what they wrote.

excellent service. mike was cheerful and knowledgeable. here i thought cleaning the filter before each drying was sufficient.. .wrong. very glad i had this service completed. flue tech was exceptional also in providing me calls of update on arrival time which allowed me to manage my time.

The service went fine. They also installed a completely new insert upon my request. I had them install a modern system with remote. I am very happy with the new version. One technician came out for the job. He was very polite and competent. He was also very professional and tidy. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service.

The work was fine. The people that came were good. There schedule was not flexible. They would accommodate the scheduling that I needed.

Angie's list deal. Very nice employee that came and did exactly what was on deal and even quoted a few things in case we wanted to do HVAC servicing in the future, but was nice and not pushy at all. Would definitely use them again.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It was very good. We were very pleased. It went well. They were punctual. They did what they needed to do. It was breeze and they were professional.

They did a professional job. They also identified other issues that needed to be addressed such as the chimney cap and a replacement for fireplace insert. They left an estimate that seemed pricey for this additional work.

It was ok...the owner/dispatcher gave me a time, but then kept calling me b/c his guys were coming early and I had to rush home to meet them. That was kind of annoying.' Also, they didn't clean out the ash box in the basement.

Work was completed quickly. Inspection found a crack in the fireplace and an estimate was provided for same. However, we did not feel any sales pressure to buy additional services. All of our questions were answered factually. Their office team also communicated the arrival time and kept me posted as they had more precision. While the service team was running a bit late, the proactive communications was very much appreciated. I would definitely use this contractor for future work.

I had no problems with the company; they were prompt in their responses in answering the phone and emails and setting up an appointment. My husband decided to clean out the dryer vent himself and so we no longer needed their services. If I needed this service again, they do come very well recommended.

This is a revision to our initial review. More important than the issue we had with the chimney cleaning was how they handled it after the fact - they were very responsive, they were apologetic and asked what they could do to remedy it, including coming back to clean and refunded 100% of our invoice. Given how great they were in responding to our issue - they went beyond what I had requested, I would use them again. Now that is what customer service is supposed to be like.

Service was scheduled in the most professional manner, I got the 1 hour advanced warning call as promised. The 2 technicians Sean and Albert were just amazing - talk about diligent and hardworking. I don't think the vent was ever cleaned so they had a lot to do and after seeing how hard they worked - they beat all my expectations. I would definitely use this company again and hope the same technicians are doing the service next time.

They did a great job! My dryer is not a straight line to the outside where it vents. They had to take the vent apart, go from both ends and come in from the outside (two stories up) They did everything in a courteous and professional way. I contacted them thru Angie's list and I think after the initial contact, it would be better to speak with them directly to schedule the actual service rather than filling out a form online.

In addition to checking the vent and verifyting that there was no lint buildup, the inspector gave me advice on the guideliness the home owners group should follow to make sure we were protected from dryer fires in our townhouses. I thought he was very professional in every way.

The Scheduling and timing did not work. There was no communication issues, just scheduling only. - I filled out the request through this website, and it asked us to pick 3 dates and times that worked for us. - It would not allow us to choose any Saturdays or Sundays - Instead we received a date and time we didn't choose and of course it doesn't work for us. - There were communication from Flue Tech from the beginning but denying all the days and times we requested by saying "I'm sorry, those hours are never available for us" and then they suggested a Saturday the 26th but once again we need this ASAP not at the end of the month - They requested they can come anytime now during the day and just put it on and we don't have to be home. One of us would rather be home when any work is being done(inside or outside)or our home. - My husband has decided today to handle the request himself and cancel the request ASAP. Thanks, Trina

They set up an appointment with me online, emailed me a calendar invite and then, their office called a day before the service to confirm. They called again today to confirm that the service team would arrive in 20 minutes. The team arrived and went about their work quickly and smoothly. They were done pretty quickly. We have asked them to provide an estimate for another job - to clean the A/C ducts. They inspected the ducts quickly and reverted after calling their technical team in the office within minutes, with a clear price and time quote. They are professional.
