Found some issues that i need to follow up on, but that I did expect.

Response quickly, arrive on time, friendly and professional staff. Cover the ground and keep it clean before vacuuming the fire place area. Last for 40 minutes.

Service was provided in a true professional manner. There were no difficulties encountered.

The Flue Tech technician (Mike) was both professional and thoughtful in his approach to his work. The fact that the dryer vent was situated on the 2nd floor exterior wall proved no issue to him as he went about the actual cleaning of it. I would certainly consider using Flue Tech again in the future.

Mike, the technician was prompt, friendly and efficient. He brought a drop cloth and shop vacuum to do the work. When I asked him to do the extra work, he didn't hesitate to do it. I would recommend this company highly.

Flue Tech was very professional. They called in advance and indicated the time they would show up. The work was well done. A write-up was provided noting areas that need replacement (firebrick, baffle and blanket and seal) along with pricing should I have Flue Tech make the repairs. Flue Tech also suggested shopping around for other pricing on the parts needing replacement.

Provider arrived at house on time. He put on foot covers so he wouldn't get anything dirty. He went straight to work and really cleaned up everything nicely.

Flue Tech responded to internet scheduling in a timely manner. On the appointment day Flue Tech's office called to report that the technician was on the way. The technician arrived within the approximated time frame. The technician was courteous and efficient.

Very satisfied with the service and workmanship. Will be calling them again when needed.

They came when scheduled and completed the work

We started with a chimney sweep, which we knew would be insufficient since nobody knows when the chimney was last cleaned. So we purchased the other services, which were needed. We had been getting faint smell of smoke in the utility room even after I repointed the brick in the fireplace. The crew were in and out, cleaned up well. They did break a piece of the damper control while removing it in order to get access, but to be fair it was on the way out anyway. I was able to easily replace that with a part I got on line. So now we have a much safer fireplace and flue. This outfit is also extremely conscientious about calling if they are running late, which we appreciated. Overall very happy!

It probably took them 15 min to complete the job. Seemed little pricey.

Mike and Steve were great. Very professional, very knowledgeable. Gave me some good advice on how to keep the fireplace safe beyond the cleanings.

It went pretty well. They are on schedule, polite, clean and they did exactly what we wanted. There was really, absolutely no problem.

At the time I scheduled this service through Angie's List, Flue Tech was extremely busy, given the season. As a result, it was somewhat difficult to get the cleaning/inspection scheduled, but once we did (almost a month out), the experience was very positive. The gentleman that came to perform the service (Mike) did a very thorough job, inspecting the chimney, flue, smoke chamber, caps, etc. and performing a basic chimney sweep. Mike pointed out a number of issues with the chimney, for which he suggested various alternatives to remedy the problems. He laid all of the information out clearly and legibly, along with quotes for each, for our consideration. We are likely going to ask Flue Tech to do the work, now that spring has finally arrived.

Overall it went well, and they didn't try to upsell me on other unnecessary services, which is good. However they didn't realize I had a hatch that had ashes in it, so they didn't clean that the first time around. However after a phone call they came back and did it quickly, so I was happy with their response.

cleaned chimneys, fixed a few things the prev owner did to it himself - such as putting an insert in the wrong way etc. they did a great job and were professional, personable and nice to our dogs!

Techs arrived on time, within the 10am-1pm window. Work on the fireplace was commenced quickly after arrival. For the furnace flue liner, apparently the furnace exhaust pipe changed sizes inside the pipe and this was not something that was caught (or maybe something not usually looked for) when measuring for the job on the initial visit. At this point, I was unaware of any issues, only that one of the techs got in the van and left around Noon. The first tech completed the work on the fireplace in approx 1.5-2 hours. After some time with the van gone, I asked where the other tech had gone and was then informed that he had to drive from CT back to New Jersey to retrieve the appropriate fitting. No one at the office was even aware of the issue until I called them at 4:15pm I was told the van had broken down and they would have to reschedule my appointment and they were sending another truck to pick up the tech that was still at my house. While I was a bit put off I understand that things happen and resceduled. Then at 5pm the original tech (who was supposed to be broken down) returned with the appropriate fitting and they said they would like to complete the work right away. I agreed and they finally finished up around 7pm. Clearly he was able to do some roadside repairs and get the van up and running again? Something just does not seem to add up especially since no one could give me a straight answer. This is the reason for the low responsiveness rating. I understand things happen, but you would think that a company based in NJ that services the Tri-state area would have a local source for parts rather than having to drive 5 hours roundtrip to get a new piece. Overall, the work was done well and the fireplace looks great but if there had been the smallest shred of communication of what was happening there would have been a lot more "A" ratings for this visit.

The service was excellent, for the most part. The service was performed well and quickly and the technicians were extremely polite and professional. My only issue was the timing. I had booked an appointment for the morning and got a call early that morning telling me that the window was between 11am and 1pm. So far so good. The technicians didn't arrive by 1pm and I got another call from the front office at 1:10pm telling me the technicians were running late on another job and could I wait until 3:00pm. Luckily, I had taken the entire day off, so timing wasn't an issue and I agreed. i got a third call at 2:45pm telling me the technicians would arrive closer to 4:00pm. The technicians finally arrived at 4:15pm. As I said, I had taken the whole day off for this so timing wasn't an issue. But if I had actually planned my day around the original estimate, it would have been shot. Having said that, I can't fault the technicians for the job they did. The entire job took 15 minutes to perform and it seems to be just fine. They spent more time upselling me on other services they provided than they did on the original work! That's their job, though, and I can't fault them for that. The pictures they took of the inside of my chimney and the work they performed were well appreciated. I believe the issue with the timing was a fluke and I would otherwise recommend Flue Tech for their work. I would definitely use them again.

Work was completed in a professional and timely manner. The area was cleaned after work was completed. Technicians and staff were very responsive, polite and professional. I would strongly recommend Flue Tech, Inc. to other angie's list members, and to my freinds or neighbors.

the guys were good when they estimate and showed up on time. they did the liner and removed the cap of chimny. they said they will order the cap and come back in few weeks but hasn't come back since the end of december. I hired other company to do the unfinished job instead. very unprofessional and disappointed
