Chimney clean review: For starters they showed up on time! I found Mike to be very cordial. Because we are new home owners but we did and plan on using our fireplace very often he explained things we could do to keep the chimney as clean and safe as possible. I mentioned that the chimney that is connected to our furnace needed a look see. He confirmed that we do indeed need a chimney liner. He gave us an estimate on par with another chimney company. Ultimatley we went with flu tech because I found Matt to be honest and thorough. When the chimney clean was done they did an excellent job of cleaning up. They called me as soon as the permit came in and plan on doing the job next week. Chimney liner review: Update- Mike came on time again almost to the minute. He took out garbage cans up the driveway, very nice of him. He asked for the cleanest way to get in and out of the house, and put down paper even though it was only the basement he was getting dirty. They worked faster than expected. He made sure to show us all the pictures of the work completed and assured us that if the inspector should find any issue with his work he would come back and rectify it. Would recommend flu-tech and Mike in particular.

We have 2 dryers. One of them comes out of the 3rd floor on our roof. They did a great job. Always a responsive company - we had them clean our chimneys and repair our gas stove this winter.

I had posted a positive review before thinking they had done a fair job cleaning the chimney. However, we got another estimate for the chimney work that needs to be done and it turns out Flue Tech did a very POOR job at cleaning the chimney. Flue Tech did remove a Heatolator at an added cost. They were friendly and courteous but the quality of the job was poor.

They were good, responsive and professional - Since it was the top of my chimney, I was not going 2 stories to check what was needed, so they took pictures before and after and sent to me via email - It was more than I was expecting to spend, but, thought it necessary. The last chimney sweep I had previously, did not go up on the roof, they cleaned it from the inside only. This company went on roof and inspected any other issues - I think they saved me money in the long run. I would recommend them to others as well.

It went very well. They were professional, courteous and efficient.

We found out that it is in dire need of replacement, which I suspected might be the case. Flue Tech offered to put the money for the cleaning toward the replacement of the dryer line. When they do this, they will correct the bad installation of the line. The work is scheduled for this week. Thanks!

Excellent service and installation. One week letter Flue Tech (Mike) installed a new dryer vent. Flue Tech provided a quality neat job with courteous service. They arrived on-time on both occasions. FlueTech office called to confirm our appointment and narrow their arrival time. I highly recommend Flue Tech and would definitely use them again.

The technicians arrived on time and asked me what I thought the problem was. They checked the venting and performed a cleaning of the flue. Problem solved.

The big deal service for dryer vent cleaning was fine. As they backed out of our drive they took out my neighbor’s mail box but they were great about going to her door and apologizing and paying for a new mail box and so on and so forth. It was all good. They are good and they are efficient.

They came promptly, were very professional and courteous, and explained the situation, diagnosis and options. The whole process was smooth and efficient, and it was particularly helpful that they were able to fix the unforeseen problem during the same visit.

Two men showed up and cleaned the chimney. One went on the roof while the other stayed in the house. The one on the roof took pictures of the chimney. When they were done, I was shown the pictures and he pointed out that one brick was loose. He suggested that I get it fixed some time, but that the chimney was in decent shape. They did not try to sell me additional services.

First installer cleaned and showed us what we need to get the chimney repaired. We hired them to come back for an additional fee and when they began the service told us it was going to cost additional money because the first inspector failed to see where our water heater vented. After some back and forth and getting one of the Owners on the phone we were able to come up with a fair addition and the work was completed.

Provided a chimney cleaning and inspection per the description given in Angie's Deals. The cleaning seemed thorough enough; however we were a little disappointed that a fuller inspection could not be done at the time (we were told that our chimney was too tall to inspect without a camera.) It would have been nice to have that as an option that we could've added on at that time, but of course that option required a separate visit (and service fee).

These guys were outstanding in every respect. Will use them regularly from now on. Among about 10 services over the past 40 years, these guys were the best.
