My experience with Flue Tech was very positive. They called ahead to confirm the appointment with me. Mike came in and cleaned the dryer vent and gave me some good advice on how to make the dryer run a little more effective and safe in our home. Very polite and pleasant to deal with. They cleaned up after themselves. They wore booties in the house. Very thorough. I'll definitely be using Flue Tech whenever I have need of the services they provide.

The service itself was okay. I know he had a lot of difficulty scheduling; finding an open time with them to come. It was difficult to get them to schedule, they didn't have many open windows. When they were supposed to come, I don't remember the exact times, so say they are supposed to come at noon, they called and said we are running late, we'll be there between 3 and and then they showed up at six. Even though they called to update us, they showed up like an hour after that. So it wasn't just like half an hour late, it was very late. They should have been more responsive, showed up on time and easier to schedule with.

We had to wait over a month for it. He said he was really busy. We weren't home. I had to have my son take care of it. It turned out, there was nothing wrong with the chimney. So, the service was okay. There were no additional charges. It was nothing spectacular. We were thinking that there was something wrong with the chimney. But there was nothing wrong. The guy sort of cleaned it. That's it. He couldn't find anything wrong. Maybe there could be a follow-up call in a few months to see if there is anything wrong with the chimney.

it went fine except when it was discovered my flex dryer line was damaged something that costs 8 dollars in home depot to replace they charged be almost $60. i understand parts mark up is inevitable but 700% over list is not right. since this was for a rental unit we own we had no time to haggle over price.

They were polite, informative and professional. He even went onto my roof and took a video so I could see what was going on with surface structure of my chimney. Thank you to Angie's list and to Flute Tech Inc.

The chimney needed extra work that we didn't anticipate - but they showed photos of the problem which clearly documented the need. They came back, did an excellent job and we were very happy.

Great work. Prompt and professional. Pointed out some cracks in fireplace, and gave estimates for replacement. Stated that cracks seemed to be surface cracks only, so no need to replace at this time. Very thoughtful response.

There was a miscommunication, hense my previous review.

It went well except that they were also supposed to clean my furnace chimney but told me that because of how my vent is set up, they won't touch it. They said it is not up to code and would cost about 3K to fix. I respect their decision not to touch it if it isn't up to code, but I am not sure how true their assessment is. I have no reason to distrust this company, except for the fact every other chimney company I've used has told me something expensive had to be done, even when I had just had them done the year prior. So it isn't this company I don't trust as much as it is chimney companies in general. Assuming everything they told me was correct about my code issue, I was happy with them. They were so professional and friendly. Very efficient. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

It was not even needed because we had a gas fired chimney. I bought it because it was required for the township to do it. They came, charged me the money and said that it was cleaned. They should have told me that it was not even needed for a gas fired one.

The cleaning was done expertly. The estimate for a new duct was very high. Putting the old duct back together was less than good. Within 2 weeks it fell apart.
