Description of Work: We bought this house a year ago and have used the gas fireplace a lot over the winter. We had no idea when it had last been serviced and thought it wise to have it checked out. They cleaned it, checked it out, and found no particular problems, and we now feel reassured that tis safe to use. They were polite, professional, and seemed knowledgeable.

Description of Work: fireplace maintenance was completed thoroughly and efficiently. Area kept very clean. Also was given list of other services they provide with the cost of each but there was no pressure to purchase any other services.

Description of Work: There cleaning of the chimney was fine but then they said I needed further work in the flue and I needed a new cap on top of the chimney. They added up the bill and it was $1800. They told me they wouldn't be able to come back to do the work for a month and it was two months before they contacted me. We scheduled a time between 9 and 12, they never showed. I called and they said they would be there at 1:30 and I had plans for the afternoon. Then they wanted to schedule it for the morning after Thanksgiving! I couldn't do that either. It's their way or the highway. I chose the highway. I also thought their price for the work they were doing was over the top. They offered to take off $200 but I didn't bite. I haven't received my $100 deposit back either. They are greedy and overbooked. Use someone else. Altogether with the cost of cleaning the flue added in, it would have cost me over $2000!

Description of Work: They performed the initial cleaning on schedule and did the first fireplace based on the Angie's List offer but the second at full price. Their work was good. They recommended that we install an additional shield on the den fireplace to prevent smoke from coming out. That cost us an additional $150. They set a date when they would return to install the shield but did not actually come for another week. They eventually installed the shield, which appears to work fine, though I'm hard-pressed to see that it was worth $150.

Description of Work: The service response and performance during visit was excellent. Offered invaluable information and we will proably utilize them in the future. we are currently evaluating the cost of a stove purchase from another independent source, with installation and service through the fluetech co.

Description of Work: We had an appointment for them to come yesterday to clean the flue and remove the old damper. They never showed up I called to ask what happened and was told someone would get back to me but no one has. This is very unprofessional. I will find somehow else

Description of Work: We talked about lining the chimney and cleaning the chimney. They came out to give me an estimate and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I did not go with them, since they did have high prices and I did not need the work right away.
