Description of Work: Flu Tech performed a routine check of the chimney/fireplace. They went above and beyond by pointing out some potental issues and performing a very thorough cleaning. I would definitely use them again!!!!

Description of Work: Flu Tech came to my new home for an estimate, and after several estimates, we finally found a company we feel comfortable hiring for chimney repairs and cleaning. They were very punctual, fair in price, and definitely knowledgeable!

Description of Work: Didn't leave feedback after service about overall condition. I'm not sure the full details of what was done. A detailed explanation of the work done on the service would have been helpful.

Description of Work: They cleaned our flue and also inspected the chimney and caps. They mentioned that I would need to have some work done on the caps in a few years, which would be fairly expensive, but they did not try to sell me the work then. They were very helpful and gave me some valuable information considering this was the first time I had a chimney cleaned.

The technician spent extra time cleaning the vents thoroughly and explaining the process. I will definitely call this company again for my next service.

Description of Work: I had a fireplace insert in for years. It had been used often and while I had hired other companies in the past to clean it; no one ever pulled the unit out to clean behind it. |When FlueTech did I was shocked at the filth. It was so dirty, such a fire hazard that I didn't even want it put back it.

Description of Work: I really didn't have any issues, they came to check and found nothing. I have a gas fireplace and it really didn't need any maintenance as the technician pointed out but it was good to get it professionally looked out. It was more money to have to pay for the service I needed but not saying that someone with a traditional wood burning would benefit from.

Description of Work: The did what was specified in the coupon; additionally they suggested other work (I believe this is typical, from my understanding, with most chimney inspections) which would be fairly expensive (I cannot say this compared to any other provider as I have never had this type of work done) from our budget standpoint. |They worked neat and clean although when they first arrived their equipment did not work and they had to go to their shop for a different unit; they also kept us waiting one entire day when this was originally scheduled and they could not keep the appointment, but kept calling to advise of a later time that day. That appointment was the waste of one day before the job was actually done. |As to comparing this experience with another "chimney work" experience, I have no prior experience to objectively measure this company against or otherwise make a comparison. |I was impressed with how neat and clean they worked when the inspection was finally done.

Description of Work: Called for a dryer vent cleaning and they discovered that, due to a large bird's nest, my vent pipe was completely rotten and blowing lint into the attic. They replaced the pipe and installed an animal-proof vent cap. |Every person the company sent was completely professional, knowledgeable, personable, and polite. I will use Flue Tech for all my future work as well as recommend them to everyone I know in need of their services.

The service person was very friendly and professional- I thought that the big deal involved cleaning all the components including logs, gas elements and firebox but it seemed he just vacuumed the logs and the firebox- all in all was good experience but I would do myself next time |
