Description of Work: Cleaned out the 3 flues in my house. They also detected some crumbling of the three flues. The house is almost 80 years old, and the flues were made of hard clay. We had these removed and replaced with stainless steel flues. The job was done on time, cleanly, and professionally.

Description of Work: The tech cleaned and reviewed the chimney and fireplace.The gave me the price for correcting the problem, which was a leak around the flashing. The tech took pictures and promised to email them but they have yet to do so.I asked for the pictures to show the damage to my husband so that we can make the determination of whether to have the repairs done or not.Other than no picture the service was fine.

Description of Work: They cleaned my pellet stove fireplace insert flue/stack. They removed the decorative trim, pulled the stove forward, and disconnected the stack from the stove to clean the area where ash accumulates. They inspected the exterior chimney also and recommended some repairs, which were the same as recommended by my home inspector some time ago. They spread a tarp on the floor inside to keep the carpet clean, and used a special ash vacuum to clean inside. There was no ash residue or smoke odor from the vacuum. The $99 was a special price through Angie's List, and the "deal" stated that a 15% discount would apply to any job resulting from this visit. When I called to order the additional recommended work, they verified that the discount was applied. I was very satisfied with this visit, and will update this review if my opinion changes as a result of the repair work done.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List special promotion. they came and cleaned the flue of my wood burning stove and checked the flue covering on the roof. Efficient and very clean. Helpful with some other questions I asked.

Description of Work: Smelled something funny in our utility room and our utility company claimed we were leaking CO from the venting system of our water heater. One company told us it would cost more than $2500 to replace all vent pipes and fully upgrade the venting system. Flue Tech helped us to understand the real problem was not CO leak but some smaller issues with the venting pipes. they repaired the problem quickly and saved us thousands of dollars of unnecessary work! Utility company confirmed that system is safe and no leaks present.
