Edison and his crew was thorough and exhibited good judgment in helping me decide the best course of action for my chimney flashing repair. He went in the attic and on the roof to get the best idea of what was needed -- other contractors just looked at the chimney from the sidewalk w/o venturing onto the roof. The team was hardworking and great to deal with.

I hired A1 Dependable to do a job for me this week due to the excellent reviews. Edison came by the next day after I contacted him via phone and gave me the estimate for the job, which to be honest it was very fair and better that I was expecting. Tony and Donny made an excellent job being very clean and very professional. I am a little picky when it comes to service for any kind of work but I was very impressed with Edison and his guys. My husband of over 30 years passed away unexpectably February of 2008. He had so many skills and so much knowledge about how to care for,repair or build anything at our home. When I started to need services for the upkeep,repairs and home improvements of our home I was lost as to where to turn.I found and have been using Home Advisor for my home when ever I needed to find a business to help me over the years since my husband's passing. I have only had excellent experiences with everyone I have found through Home Advisor. My latest find on Home Advisor was A1 Dependable LLC. I was in need of a roof repair due to a leak in my dining room ceiling. When I received the 3 recommended contractors from Home Advisor I called the first one on the list because they had a 5 STAR RATING. EDISON answered the phone and came the next day to give me an estimate. He was pleasant,knowledgeable and was genuine and cared about helping me with my situation which meant so much under my circumstances. This was a Saturday morning. He went up and inspected the roof and took video of the areas that would need to be repaired. He wrote up the estimate and when I asked him when he could do the work he told me that Monday. I felt comfortable with all of the details and the price. I needed to use a credit card due this unexpected repair and he told me that was no problem. They came on time and completed all of the work on Monday and sent me pictures of all of the completed repairs. They looked great. He took my credit card over the phone. Then he told me that if and when I needed to replace the roof that he would give me half of the cost of this repair as a credit towards the cost. This was an EXCELLENT ALL THE WAY AROUND EXPERIENCE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A1 DEPENDABLE BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT THEY WERE DEPENDABLE

My chimney was in very bad condition, loose bricks and cracked cement. I was given a reasonable quote within a few hours of speaking with them and the job was completed the same day. They excel in customer service and the quality of their work. I would not hesitate to call them again for future jobs.

Truly Dependable. I was in a but if urgency to get my fireplace repaired. I found them thru a referral and called Edison. He was very prompt in responding and gave me an estimate over the phone. They were at my olace the next morning while ithers were quoting me 3 weeks to show up. The work was done with perfection and theybwere very transparent about any issues they noticed. We were very happy with the results. I wish I knew about tuem when I got other contractor work done in my home. I would highly recommend them.
