Sunlight Contracting

Our two-car garage was in need of drywall repair (multiple (bigger) holes in the ceiling and on the walls), spackling/sanding and painting. Sunlight Contracting gave us a fair price for the space and amount of work. (We received multiple offers from five contractors; theirs was not the lowest, nor was it the highest.) John scheduled the work for two weeks out from the initial visit, and showed up at the prescribed time & date, carefully covering floors & larger items that weren't moved. He and his brother, Lou, set about working and finishing over a two day period (spacking/repair, priming and painting). We were very pleased with the end result, and would hire Sunlight Contracting again.

The owner John got back to me very quickly and arranged an estimate review of the work. He provided the documented estimate quickly that evening for a very fair price. We hired John and he did the work extremely well. In addition to the great work, John is very cordial and professional. The work was completed quickly and there was no mess left afterwards.

It went very smoothly. Other than a few hitches in scheduling, they came on time and worked in a very professional manner. The work was completed in only 7 hours to my satisfaction.

The final results are awesome! John and his team did a great job. John also was good about adding the basement work to the project.

He came to the house for our initial meeting, looked around a bit and was ready to leave. He would not quote a price onsite. He said we would have a quote the next afternoon; we did not. Nor did we have it that evening or the next morning. No communication to explain the delay. By 5:00P the second day, still no quote, I decided that this was not an good omen and moved on.

John and his team were a pleasure to work with; they were punctual and very responsive and did excellent work freshening up parts of an older house. I would definitely hire them again and they were priced as I expected.

Very well. Good phone/email communication; I felt they were prompt, honest, and did a fine job. Wallpaper came off easily so the job was not difficult. I supplied contractor trash bags, & paint. They brought the rest. Glad to have the Maranca brothers on our list of reliable companies.

Sunlight Contracting did a great job with the mulch work at our home. Louis responded to all emails promptly and professionally. Their work was very good.

It went really well. Since we had an event for an upcoming weekend, Lou made sure to fit us into his schedule well before the event. He and his team called us the morning of the job and arrived on time as promised. Everything went smoothly and they cleaned up after their work.

It went well. The painters were very professional, worked efficiently and kept to the schedule agreed upon. They were neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. They did a nice job and promptly corrected issues when they were pointed out. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Good, but some places were not covered as mulch ran out. For the services, I think they should look at the property first and say how much mulch would be needed. Also it would be good if they carried extra mulch and spread them as we were willing to pay extra if it meant getting those spots covered.

I think they were painters. One of the things, I think they were talking about $99 a room but I don't remember because that has been a couple months ago. He didn't do the work but he did respond to me and he was courteous. We were looking at 4 rooms and I think it was $99 a room so $396. He didn't do the job so I can't grade him on quality. I would call him again.

Bath paint was done carefully so that vanity, mirror and and other stuff is not impacted. Overall satisfied and would definite repeat in future.
