Excellent job. Purchased $499 Big Deal for 16 hrs ( 8 hrs for 2 man team) of painting and drywall repair for a 1 bedroom condominium. Condo was empty of furniture as we are preparing to sell. John and his brother completed the entire job within the time frame. They painted walls and ceilings (and repaired all nail pops) in bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining area, 2 hallways, and 3 closets!! Extremely pleased with the results. John is very professional and kept in constant contact as soon as I purchased the deal. Would definitely recommend and would hire them again!!

The moment I bought the coupon John was in touch regularly- scheduling, asking questions, very professional and courteous. When it came time to do the work John, his brother and his son came right on time, maybe even 5-10 early and I dont live close to him. We walked my property with me and they got right to work. To say I am happy that I bought this and used John is an understatement. I adored the team- nice guys, friendly and personable but not looking to waste hours talking, appreciated the hardworking efforts of all three guys and loved the price and thought I may have gotten a bigger deal than I thought. Totally worth it. Would do the coupon again and will definitely be calling them back for more work!

Good communication and meeting setup, did well to accommodate my scheduling needs (I had to reschedule due to my constraints). Very punctual and professional in all the work done. Good quality prepping and finish, very clean work. Happy with the job, I'll use again. Thanks John!

The job included small patching, and painting of walls, ceilings and all trim. They were very nice and personable and I would recommend them.

Painters had to do additional repairs on same spots before painting.

He showed up at the appointed time. And told me would get back to me with the estimate in a couple of days. When I didn't get the estimate, I called to remind him and he said I would get it that evening. Never got the estimate. It's been 4 days since this conversation. He also told me that they wouldn't be able to get to my job till September and I said I am prepared to wait if I think the estimate is good and I think they will do a good job. My point is, if this company is overbooked, they should tell the customer about it and not waste anybody's time. On the other hand this company continues to advertise the special of $249 on Angie's List for painter for a day.

On both days John and Lou arrived on time and got to work. They came completely prepared; all I had to do was move the furniture. I was a wonderful experience for me!!

John was quick to respond and schedule the job within the time constraints I had. John and Lou showed up exactly when they said they would and immediately showed their professionalism by asking me to show them the rooms and for me to describe what i wanted to have done. John asked me several questions to be sure we were on the same page and then described to me exactly how they would accomplish the job. They were thorough in their prep and provided covers for my furniture and floors. They respected my premises throughout the day. They were TERRIFIC. They sure know what they are doing. At the end of the job, John again met with me to go over what was done to assure my satisfaction. I have other work that i will be scheduling in the future and will definitely call on Sunlight Contracting again.

Very professional. Showed up on time every day. Asked them to come extra early and they were happy to accomodate my schedule. Price was fair. Mid range of estimates I received. Very happy with the results. The rooms look great. Will definitely be using them in the future.

I needed a 1/2 piece of sheetrock hung and finished as well as some other small taping needs. I purchases 3 hours of labor and felt that there would still be left over time. The provider showed up with two people; a taper and a helper. They informed my wife since it was two of them, it would only be 1.5 hours. That was never specified in the write up and its not what I purchased. If the two people were of equal abilities and worked independently, I could accept it, but one was definitely a helper and not a tradesman. The were able to hang the 1/2 sheet and put one coat of spackle on in the time given. I was left with sheet rock that has one coat of mud that I need to sand and put more coats on. The service providers were very cordial and seemed nice, but this is not what I purchased and actually caused me more work than if I had just done it myself start to finish

We had quite a few nail pops in our house and Sunshine consulting did a great job removing them and getting it ready to paint. We also had removed tiling from the top of our fireplace. They put spackle and repaired it. Also, had a portion of a ceiling that needed sheet rock work. The quality on the nail pops work was great. The quality on the ceiling and the fireplace walls was not that great. The finishing wasn't as nice as we would've expected and we still see visible marks after painting. To be very fair, perhaps the effort was more than the hours that we had purchased. I would gladly call them back again once I have budget to support.

John and his brother Lou are an excellent team. They are punctual, hardworking, friendly, and cleaned up so well it didn't look like painters had been here when they left for the day. Due to work schedules we needed to leave them in our home alone and had no concerns about their trustworthiness. We are very pleased with the quality job they did for us, and look forward to them painting another room in our home this summer.

John did a great job repairing my drywall and ceiling. I had ceiling fans installed and they had to make holes to get to the electrical wires. John came in and replied the hole so now the walls are ready to paint.

We had a small painting project so we called Sunlight to provide a free quote. He arrived on time and gave us a reasonable price. However we did not continue the project because of a schedule conflict. We may pick up later.

Provider arrived on time, was professional and friendly. Did an excellent job. He also caulked the baseboard on my stairs when he didn't have to. I would recommend Sunlight Contracting

the crew showed up on time and was very professional. cleaned up after the work was done. I would definitely use them again.

The hole was successfully patched, but after a few days a crack appeared outlining the perimeter of the original hole and down the middle of the patch. This did not affect the strength or integrity of the patch, but cracking did not disappear with sanding that I performed as instructed by Sunlight Contracting.

We paid for an Angie's List Big Deal upfront, without having used their services before. It was a little nerve-wracking because you don't know exactly what you're going to get and it's a big ticket item--but John was very responsive over email/phone/text, so I decided to trust the excellent reviews. He came to the house after we bought the Big Deal to take a look at the scope of the job and make sure it fell within the timeframe we had paid for (1 week - 40 man hours total). It was a fairly straightforward paint job because all the walls had recently been painted white, so they didn't need to be primed/touched up very much. John and Lou spent 2.5 days at our new house (20 hours each), painted walls and ceilings of 3 bedrooms, as well as the living room, dining room and foyer. We couldn't be onsite so a family member unlocked the house each morning, and Sunlight locked up when they left in the afternoon. We provided the paint. They were punctual, professional and the paint job looks great. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Purchased the $89 for 3 Hours of Drywall or Plaster Repair deal and John was very responsive in setting up an appointment time. He came when he promised and repaired the crack. After a few days, the crack was visible again (due to shrinkage)and John agreed to come by my home again and apply an additional coat of drywall compound at N/C. I was very pleased with John's professionalism and his willingness to make an additional visit to our home which we was not required to do.

It was a pleasure doing business with John and Lou. First, it was much appreciated that John showed up to look over the kitchen exactly when he said he would. We had previously made appointments with wallpaper removers who either showed up an hour and a half late, or didn't show up at all. It's refreshing when a contractor values your time as well as his own. The estimate was prepared and sent within a few days. John and Lou came to do the work the following week and again came right at eight as they had said they would. They worked two mornings to strip the paper, sand the walls and spackle as needed. Each day they cleaned up after themselves, vacuumed and left no mess. The work they did was great, and they are also very nice guys who are eager to please the customer. We would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Paid for three hours of service received less then an hours worth and repair did not accomplice what I needed maybe I was unclear in my explanation of work but I showed him what I needed but the work done was incomplete

The 2 painters arrived right on time. They are very personable and respectful. They worked consistently from start to finish. They took care of all the prep work effectively. Their technique on the woodwork resulted in a superior finish. The room looks fantastic even before I change the wallpaper!

This is the third time that I used John and his brother Lou. The first time I used them I wanted a faux pattern in my foyer. The color was suppose to be beige but it came out more lavender. Colors are hard to imagine sometimes. John is very understanding. I called John and we picked a different color and he redid it. Since the paint was not returnable he called Home Depot and they took it back as long as I bought the new paint. When he repainted with a new color he only did a small section to make sure I liked it. Even though it cost me more which was understandable we were very happy with the results. I get so many compliments on my foyer. This time it was a big job. We were very happy with the results. Everything was done neatly and very professional. John and Lou are always a pleasure to deal with. John always answered my emails or phone calls very quickly. He kept me updated on which rooms he was doing so we were able to get items moved from that room. I would highly recommend them.
