Modern Fence was a pleasure to work with. Entire fence was done in one day. Very hardworking team and looks great. Highly recommend.

These guys are wonderful to work with, incredibly responsive, punctual, professional, honest and hard working. We have hired them for two separate jobs and were happy with the looks and quality of the finished product. We recommended them to our neighbors who also ended up hiring them for another job. Within 48 hours of the second fence Mike and team installed for us, a tree fell on the new fence and Modern fence scheduled to come out for a repair job within a couple weeks. Can't recommend these guys enough from Mike and all of his guys on staff.

Horrible. Never showed up. Gave us a price that we agreed upon. We had to call (Mike) and he said he can't do the job because he doesn't want to fill out any paperwork required by the community we live in, and now he says we are too far away, even though he was at the house when we discussed all this. He had the paperwork for two weeks and never bothered calling us. Would NOT recommend Modern Fence company at all. Not an honest salesperson, doesn't keep his word and now delayed us as we have to research another more reliable company.

We needed a fence around our pool when we moved in and Modern Fence was very easy to work with and very straightforward. Mike listened to what we were looking for, provided us with some options, and then was clear in communicating timing and next steps. Everything went smoothly and turned out as expected - no issues at all. Very easy overall and the fence looks great!

Modern Fence, measured, gave a good quote and once the required permits were obtained they set up an installation date. They arrived, and everything was completed within 3 hours. A fabulous job.

With our decision to replace our very old pine stockade fencing with a high-quality vinyl one, we decided to search for a reputable contractor through Angie’s List. Let me start by saying I was a service tech for a well-known home services company for 28yrs prior to becoming disabled 20 years ago. Up until I became disabled, I always did my own construction and repairs around the house. Over the last 20yrs, it has been one horror story after another with many different contractors. In the last few years, I have used Angie’s List with fairly good results so I decided to use them in my search for a fence contractor. I contacted Mike at Modern Fence a few months ago and he came out to talk with my wife and me, to discuss our options and to provide an estimate. Mike was very professional and well prepared. He left no stone unturned, from going over our fence options to explaining what we would need to do prepare for the old fence removal and new fence install. Mike only carries the best quality fencing, so if you’re looking for cheap fencing that will not hold up for many years to come, Mike is not your man. Mike had his laptop with him, which made for a quick and accurate estimate. He also had a pamphlet with all the styles and colors we could choose from. We thought the estimate was reasonable for the quality of the fencing and the removal of quite a bit of old fence. It was important that we felt comfortable with Mike and we did. Mike told us he was very busy and that it would take a few weeks, which was OK with us because we had much work to do to prepare for the install. During the wait, mike took care of the permitting and stopped by to make sure we were ready. He was always available for any questions we might have. Mike called a few days before the removal and install was to begin, which was pretty much the date he quoted us a few previous weeks before. We were also contacted the morning his crew was to arrive, letting us know they were on their way. The crew arrived shortly after with all the materials needed. They were very courteous and Luis, the crew chief, answered all the questions I had at the time. There was a lot of work to do, so it took 2 days to complete the job. I was very impressed by the attention Luis gave to every detail and completely satisfied with the job that was done. Mike stopped by the 2nd day and the day after to make sure everything was done correctly and that my wife and I were satisfied with the new fence and the work done, which we were. I definitely would recommend Modern Fence

I started the process of getting estimates for a fence job back in mid February. From the very start, Ken was very professional .He was diligent about setting up an appointment for the estimate . He took his time to explain his product. He was not pushy trying to sell me. Ken kept in contact with me while I was bidding this job . In the end, I went with Ken because he really showed he wanted the job. He was not the cheapest price but was competitive. It was his overall professionalism that made my choice a lot easier . He went out of his way to treat me as he would like to be treated. I definitely would recommend Modern Fence every time!

If I could give the rating of an A+, I would. From entering their showroom and meeting a very knowledgeable sales person and a smiling face receptionist, I was pleased. It was a feeling of family pride in a business, I did the area and online research, priced out local places, and Modern Fence beat them all. Some were a fraction cheaper, but the gut feeling was to run. Meeting with Mike, the sales person, supplied all the information I was seeking. The price was right on target: I walked out with an immediate estimate in hand. Mike was able to take my measurements and run it though their system. That may sound like nothing, but there were other companies that required weeks to provide the same estimate. Mike than came to my house to confirm what was needed. All this was done at my convenience. The three man crew that replace my old fence were professional; the clean-up was meticulous. I am so pleased with the overall experience and would definitely recommend them to friends.

A+ service Mike is a great salesman

The process was very smooth and Modern Fence was a great company to work with. Mike came out promptly to take measurements and start the process. Our permit required a “50% open style” fence, so we picked one out based on the company’s brochure. However, Mike then took photos of the actual product at his warehouse, showing a ruler against the fence so we could see the precise measurements. We realized it wasn’t up to the permit’s requirements, so the company customized the fence at no extra charge. Modern Fence was also great about scheduling, and worked with us on dates as we tried to get the project done before our permit expired. The crew who came to build the fence was also great to work with; they communicated with us through the process and had everything done in 5 hours (though the estimated time was 1-1.5 days). Overall, we’re very happy with the fence and customer service. And this was the best price we found among several quotes.

They were on time, explained everything thoroughly, very polite and kept me in the loop as the job progressed. The owner coming to my house for initial estimate was fantastic!

This project went great. I’ve used Modern fence earlier this year to install vinyl fence around my my backyard. I’d use them again for any fence project as well as recommend anyone giving them a call.

It went great. Mike is the specialist who came out to estimate the job. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had three other companies come prior to meeting with him and they were all “ yes men” Mike was the only one who cared enoug to make suggestions to keep me from having problems down the line. He was recommended by a coworker and I recommended him to another coworker. So far 4 people from my company used Modern femce and are very happy with the result

Mike was very detailed when explaining the whole process of picking the right fence and putting it up. He also gave me the best price! Any questions I had were always answered in immediately and his workers were very respectful and punctual people. I would recommend Modern fence company to anyone interested in getting a fence!

Mike was terrific! He patiently listened to all of our questions, and followed up with several photos to illustrate what options he had offered. Mike suggested we remove the chain link on that 1 side, install the 6' high white privacy fence to the edge of our property and take a portion of the chain link fence and extend it so it would butt the privacy fence at both ends. Great solution! We also wanted to extend the fence as far as possible in the front yard. Mike explained the code regulations and suggested using 1 angled panel followed by a 4' high picket fence as far to the front edge of the property the code would allow. The cost to install the fence also included the removal of the chain link fence on the 1 side, and re-installing a portion to connect it to the new privacy fence. The work was done promptly, professionally, and looks absolutely beautiful! We would recommend Mike to anyone who is considering installing a fence. It's important to be sure to purchase a quality product. It's equally important to choose a company you are comfortable with, and are able to trust what you are being told about the services they offer. Mike and Modern Fence fit the bill 100%!

It went very well. The timelines were what we expected, and the installation itself took the two days that were promised. Mike was very easy to work with; he had good ideas and was realistic about the costs. We are just thrilled at how beautiful our backyard is now.
