Upon first conversation, Victor from FPV told me that he would replace a few cracked bricks in addition to re-pointing for $860.00. On the day of the job, Victor did not show up but he sent workers, who did not do what was initially agreed upon. They simply re-pointed the brick, leaving the cracked bricks. After the job was completed, Victor came and I asked him what changed from our initial conversation. He said I didn't need the cracked bricks replaced and I would be charged $350.00. I had two issues with this. First, this was never communicated to me. I was expecting cracked bricks to be replaced. His reason for not doing so was because he wouldn't be able to match the bricks. Shouldn't that be my decision as to whether I cared about more about aesthetics or potential water damage? Second, If I had known he was just going to re-point and that it was going to cost $350.00, I would have had a handyman who offered to do it for $200.00 do the work. I just got the feeling that Victor did not really care about the work he was doing and that he would rather have saved his time instead of doing a good job. As for the quality of the actual work, it's hard for me to judge at this point. We'll see whether the cracked brick causes a problem with water damage in the future.

After having 1 floor of our home ruined by the floods due to Sandy, my wife and I called Victor at F.P.V to rip out the walls, floors, etc that were destroyed. This had to be done promptly before possibly harmful mold conditions arose. Victor and his crew could not have been more professional or helpful during this difficult time. With all that was going on in Hoboken, they showed up early every day and completed the job quickly and as we planned. I could not have asked for better service.
