Diego was courteous, as unobtrusive as possible given the equipment needed (big snaking air ducts to vent out fumes, and some type of engine), made sure the fumes were well vented to the outside, and did a good cleanup after the job was done. The job itself took at least 4 hours, was done meticulously and the outcome flawless. Would higly recommend him to anyone needing similar work in the NYC metro area.

Diego was the consummate professional. He arranged a mutually convenient time to view my nearly paintless 35-year-old tub, and he confirmed the appointment the day before he came. He arrived exactly on time, and carefully assessed the job. Diego gave me an estimate, which I felt was quite reasonable. He also discussed my many concerns about reglazing (Would the paint drip? Would there be a horrible smell? Would I have to leave the apartment?) The answers were uniformly "No," and I was pleased to hear that the job would be a simple and problem-free. (Could I believe it?) We selected a day and time for the work. Again, Diego politely confirmed the day before. He was flexible enough to accommodate a one-hour shift in the time of the job (at my request), and came at the exact newly specified time. His wife assisted with the entire operation. Naturally, I was concerned that spraying paint in the bathroom would leave backspray on everything in my apartment. But it didn't. Diego and his wife covered and taped everypart of the space, sealed off the bathroom door, and protected the carpet in the next room. I was amazed. Using a special fan with a 40-foot flexible tube, Diego sent all backspray and fumes into the building's courtyard, where there was practically no impact on anything?including my expensive funiture and plantings. The job was handled professionally from start to finish. Diego and his wife cleaned up everything, provided care instructions, and left promptly. I am totally satisfied with the work, and I can happily recommend Dr Reglazing without reservation. If you're worried about reglazing (as I was), call Diego and relax. He's pleasant, experienced, and professional in every way.

Vey good. Deigo returned call same day ,set up an estimate a few days later. Came on time to do repair, clened tub area and explained work done.

I got him off of Angie's List and he was really very good, excellent. He was really good and I liked him a lot. I thought the price was good, first of all I couldn't get anyone to do it and I think he did more than I expected. It was mainly grouted but he did the bathtubs and everything. He's nice, he worked and cleaned. He called ahead of time to confirm, I didn't have to wonder if he's show up and he was exactly on time. I would recommend him.

They were fabulous and wonderful to deal with. They gave us a 5% off on each tub because we got them off Angie’s List and they gave me a 5% discount for doing two bathtubs at the same time. We called one morning and within a couple of hours they called us back. One week later we realized that our tenant wanted to have theirs done so we called them back. They were able to check right on the spot and confirm that they had the time. They were able to schedule that at the same time too. They arrived right on time. They matched everything off so perfectly and neatly. They worked, finished one, matched things off and then finished the other. They cleaned up behind themselves wonderfully. They use something that takes the odor out. We were there when they were working and there was no odor which was wonderful and a very special thing that they do. They also gave us information about care and up keep. It is a two person team and the tub looks like they are new. They also uncorked all around the tub floor, on top of the tub and the whole areas around it too. A couple of tiles severed up and they re-glued them for us. We have checked other places and their prices are really good as well. Our overall experience with them has been excellent and we would highly recommend them to everyone. One of the things that they pointed out is that we have very old tubs in the house but they are the kind of tubs that would cost us a fortune if we could get them today. They were very enthusiastic.

It was a great experience! Diego was professional and courteous. He and his helper came on time, covered every surface in the bathroom to protect from overspray (something a previous service provider failed to do which left all the fixtures and vanity covered in a fine mist of glaze), vented the fumes out the bathroom window and left me with a like-new bathtub. A little story to demonstrate the excellent service I received from DR Reglazing: Before they left, Diego explained that the tub couldn't be used for 48 hours to allow the glaze to set. He secured rubber gloves over the shower head and faucet to prevent any drips from ruining the work. A few hours after they left, I went into the bathroom to take another look at my beautiful new bathtub and noticed that the glove over the faucet had a pinhole leak in one of the fingertips. The leak wasn't bad, but water had collected around the drain and the new finish had bubbled up. Naturally, I panicked and called Diego to tell him what had happened. He said that because the finish had been compromised, even a little bit, the whole tub would need to be redone and he immediately rescheduled a time to come back to my apartment. He came back as promised and reglazed the tub again - at no charge! I would recommend DR Reglazing in a heartbeat.

I was very pleased with Diego through out the whole process. He is very personable and responsive. He arrived at my home exactly when he told me he might arrive. He brought his brother with him to do the job. They were both very professional and courteous. The did not make any mess, and coming from me "miss meticulous", that's very impressive. I found the price to be very reasonable and he offered a warranty and tips on how to care for my tub. He vented the area with an exhaust hose out a window so the smell was tolerable, and did a great job on caulking around the tub. I highly recommend him. I have had people do work for me in the past and no one compares to Diego. Thanks Diego !

I found Diego on Angieslist and he had very good reviews so I decided to give him a try. He was punctual the day when he said that he would come to give me an estimate. He thoroughly explained the steps that he'd take to finish the job and was a very likeable guy. Being a building that was built in 1929, more than half of the wall is covered by subway tiles and they were not in good condition with cracks and some grouts missing. The bathtub had no cracks but all of the finishings were gone so it always looked dirty even though it was clean. I also asked him to remove 2 old towel bars before the new one could be installed. Diego did an great job relazing our tiles and removing the towel bars that you couldn't even tell they had been there. The finished work is amazingly beautiful. I can't see any cracks on the tiles. It looks like new. The superintendant of the building was very impressed of his work. The other general contractor that I hired was very impressed too and asked for his information as well. Diego and his crew did a nice cleaning up job afterwards. I'm so glad that I found him from angieslist and would highly recommend him in a heart beat. In summary, he's punctual, reliable, a good communicator (always returns your phone calls, emails, calls to confirm the appointment), does high quality work which will last for many years, and his price is very reasonable.

Everything went great. Diego is excellent. He and his team member were extra cautious with everything, and left the bathroom cleaner then when they found it (they did some light dusting). They used a fan to vent fumes and were considerate of my family. He is extremely thorough and includes all sorts of advice and tips on cleaning and maintenance. We also opted for the traction bottom, which eliminates the need for a bath mat to reduce slipping. We are very happy with the results.

Diego and his companion did an outstanding job on our bathtub! It looks brand new! They arrived at our home and brought in all of the equipment needed to do the job.They were very thorough. At the beginning, they did all of the prepatory work like taping off all of the areas that would not be used. They then proceeded to prepare the bathtub for sanding and then reglazing. They also caulked around the edges of our floor and that area also looks fresh and new. I will repeat that they did an outstanding job and the price was absolutely great! Diego and his companion were very pleasant and their work ethic was impeccable.

Very responsive from the first phone call. Work was scheduled within a couple of weeks. A little late on arrival, but once they arrived they did a great job and complete clean-up when job was finished. The shower looks like new! They were very polite and nice people :)

Their work was professional and well executed without any damage or disruption to my bathroom or other rooms. They were very quick and did a great job. I shopped around other Angies list companies and Diego by far had the most competitive price but what put him over all others is that he offers the longest warranty- 5yrs as opposed to most other companies which only offer 3yrs. I recommend him highly.

The bathtub was desperately in need of reglazing. He did a very good job.

Diego basically renovated the whole bathroom. The overall experience was very good. He is very meticulous and very detail oriented. We will definitely have him back to renovate the other bathroom. Total cost was 2500 of which $1500 was labor and $1000 for material. Diego also helped me paint the bathroom, which was not part of the original contract. He had a electrician come to the house to remove the old light fixture. The electrician centered the light fixture to go over the new vanity cabinet. Mr. Diego also installed a door stopper and towel handle bar. My wife and I were very impressed with his punctuality and attention to detail.

The bathtub was peeling from the service by the building maintance. The Reglazing guy was on the phone with my husband constently, very professional. Gave a good estimate, and showed up on time. He even called to say that he may be running a few minutes late b/c of parking (my area has very limited parking). He showed up, had all of his supplies, did the job, and I am very happy with my tub. There is also a warranty on the work he did, so if ever, I can always call him and ask him to return.
