DnR Reglazing

A great overall experience-Thank you

Diego was very honest about what should and should not be done. He asked me to choose my colors from Benjamin Moore's line of colors ahead of time so he could come prepared. I did and he did. He and his wife arrived promptly and worked 2 full days to transform, via reglazing, a horrible pink bathtub with pink and grey wall tiles to a bright, shiny tub with lovely white tiles and dark grey trim on the walls. They were careful to run a vent line through an adjoining room's window, covered carpets with plastic drop cloths and removed their shoes before walking through my house to reach the bathroom. The fumes from the process were considerable in the bathroom itself - like being locked in a shoemaker's shop, but abated after a few days. The glaze is guaranteed for 5 years. They were careful, neat, prepared and professional. I can honestly recommend Dr. Reglazing to all my Angie's List neighbors, without reservation. Diego answered the phone promptly and made an appointment to assess the situation. He arrived as scheduled, looked at the problems and gave us a price estimate. We discussed the best date for the work to be done, and he and his assistant arrived right on time. They set to work putting down drop cloths, arranging their work area to accommodate our needs. They worked speedily but efficiently and finished on schedule. They cleaned up all the work materials, made sure the work would 'cure' properly. Diego accepted our check for the amount agreed upon and sent a receipt within days. He brought a copy of his insurance and license with him that day as requested. The whole experience was delightful, and we have a beautiful tub and tile wall to show for it. We plan to work with him again on another tile project.

Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. We were delighted with the results and will hire Dr. Reglazing again when we remodel and change the color of the tub. (Please see above.)

My bathroom was renovated due to a collapsed ceiling. However, the tub needed to be reglazed to make the renovation complete. Searching Angie's list, I read the good reviews and decided to call. Diego answered right away and I described the tub I had, how old it was and that it has never been worked on. He gave me an estimate over the phone and I felt it was reasonable. Diego came in on time with his lovely wife and informed me what he was going to do. I must tell you that the entire procedure took approximately 3 hrs and all went smoothly with no problems with fumes and in time for my elderly parent to use the bathroom. Very courteous and professional!

Everything went fine from first call to the completion of the job.

Diego arrived exactly on time for the appointment to provide an estimate. The work was scheduled for about 3 weeks later on Labor Day. He wanted to work that day and I was happy to not have to take off from work. He had advised the job might need to run into a second day to complete but he would do his best to finish in one day. The day of the job Diego and 2 workers showed up in the early part of the window he had provided. They were all very polite and courteous. They removed their shoes (it was raining) whenever going in and out to the truck. They covered everything with plastic and kept a very neat work area the entire time. They worked through the day and finished the entire job. The fumes are bad and the showers could not be used for 2 days, but none of this was a surprise. When finished, they cleaned up and you wouldn't have known they had been there except for the fact that the tub and showers now looked like new.

We did a bathroom remodel and asked Diego for an estimate on re-glazing the bath tub. After Diego gave me an estimate, my wife and I were unsure of whether the tub was in good enough condition to bother re-glazing and whether it was appropriate since I was remodeling the entire bathroom. I called him and Diego and his brother agreed to make a one hour trip to look at the tub and discuss the project. The came exactly when they said and spent a half hour discussing the tub and the problems I was having with the the remodel job. He even suggested someone who could help complete the job that my first contractor had messed up. Ultimately, I decided to replace the bath tub instead of re-glazing and Diego was understanding and professional. This is who I will call when I do need to re-glaze a tub.

Diego responded to my request promptly and gave an estimate via email after I described what I wanted done and gave him the measurements. We set a date for him to come just a couple of days later and he was on time and did a nice clean job. He explained how to care for our tub so that the finish will last for years to come. I am pleased with the job and would hire him again in the future and recommend him to friends.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Diego was an absolute professional & takes a great deal of pride in his work. It is a rare quality these days. He cares more that things are done right & that the customer is satisfied than he does for his bottom line. After setting up my appointment, I saw a coupon online & called back a few days later to ask if I could apply it- he was very happy to do it. I hired Diego & his wife to reglaze my bathtub and the tile surround. They scraped and replaced the grout as part of the service. He removed a grab bar and shower rod that were screwed into the tiles & repaired the holes at no charge. He also replaced my drain stopper mechanism, no charge (I bought the part, of course). The work was done that day, they did flawless work & everything was left neat & clean at the end. I found that the finish was slick underfoot & recalled reading a post here that they had him apply a non-slip coating, so I called to ask if he could add it. He was so nice about it, nothing I asked for was a problem- he genuinely cared that I was happy. He came back the next week & apologized that he failed to offer it to me and didn't want money to do the extra work. I gave him some money anyway because I didn't think it was fair since he made an extra trip. The coating is great & I definitely recommend getting it. Don't hesitate to hire Diego, he really is a pleasure to do business with.

The process went very well. I contacted this company based on positive reviews on Angie's List. They were easy to get in touch with and they scheduled the job on fairly short notice to accommodate my schedule. They also offered the best price of of the quotes I received and provided their quote over the phone. They arrived promptly and worked hard for several hours until the job was complete.

Diego did a great job. I have had very bad experiences with other contractors I have called. It is good to find a professional, hard working and honest contractor like Deigo. I have no complaints. He arrived on time, finished the job within the time he said and did nice work.

We just moved into a new home and wanted to update the bathroom. After looking at tons on reviews on Angies List, we decided to go with Mr. Reiro from DR Reglazing. I called and made an appointment for Mr. Reiro to come out in the next day or two. After meeting with Mr. Reiro, I knew I made the right choice as he was very professional and knowledgeable. Because the bathroom is more than 60% tile, Mr. Reiro spent 1 day prepping and a 1/2 day spraying. The end result was fabulous! Our bathroom looked brand new and so beautiful thanks to Mr. Reiro!!! Essentially, Mr. Reiro was able to take an outdated bathroom and make it modern and beautiful in a short period of time. Overall, the reglazing job on the bathroom is truly beautiful and is indeed now one of my favorite rooms in the house. I would definitely recommend Mr. Reiro to anyone looking to update their bathroom.

We went with someone that had availability closer to when we needed it (i.e. ASAP). However, he was incredibly responsive and professional. He stayed in contact with us for weeks, but we were not able to nail down a schedule for our other bathroom work on our end to give to them.

He was very prompt and courteous. The job he did was beautiful. He came when he said he would. I appreciated how polite and clean he was. He cleaned up very well after himself. It was just perfect.

Everything was great! Diego was incredibly responsive by email and phone prior to having the service done. I emailed him a picture of the tub just to get an idea of the cost and after I decided to hire him he stopped by to take a look at the tub in person so we could set everything up. He was able to fit me in a few days later and he showed up on time. He and his wife were in and out of my house within a couple hours and you can't even tell they were here with all of their equipment besides the fact that we have a brand new looking tub (even the old, nasty looking drain and trip lever are sparkling now)! They kept everything clean and neat and before leaving Diego told me some do's and dont's to keep the tub in good condition. We will definitely be recommending him to friends and family if they're ever in need of bathtub refinishing.

The work was done in one day. Diego and his wife were professional, polite, and cleaned up very well. When they were done the grout between the tiles looked like new, and the bathtub was sparkling clean.

Diego came for the estimate and quoted a price that was reasonable. He came over 3 weeks later to reglaze the tub, regrout the tiles, and reglaze all the tiles in the bathroom. The job took almost two days and it was done perfectly and neatly. Now the bathroom looks brand new without spending tens of thousands to upgrade.

As I expected, based on reviews of this provider, I received an excellent job. I e-mailed a few good shots of the tub to get an estimate, and save him a trip, since we're located in central nj. He got back to me quickly with a price and gave me a detailed description of how he conducts his job.He showed up right on time with an assistant and thoroughly covered everything, that would be in range of his sprayer, along with a large venting tube and fan that exhausted any fumes out through a window. Project took about 3 hours or so.When he left, you would never know he was there, except for what looks like a "new tub". He was in a hurry, when he left, and asked if he could send a copy of the bill, which included a substantial warrenty. I received it within a week.IN short, great experience and would definitely recommend him.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Diego came on time, completed the work in a timely fashion, and did an excellent job. In the days after the job was completed I noticed a few small scratches in the finish. When I called Diego he was very receptive to my concerns and immediately agreed to come take a look. He was very willing to redo the job if necessary. Fortunately it only needed minor buffing and the scratches were gone. I could not be more satisfied with his work. Definitely recommend him!

Diego was very courteous and informative when I called for an estimate. His price was reasonable so I hired him. On the date of the job, he called to inform me when he was on his way. He arrived on time and got to work. The setup, refinishing and clean up were done very quickly, professionally and well within the time frame he indicated on my initial call. I have rarely had such a good experience when it comes to home improvment contractors.
