DnR Reglazing

I do not live in the area. He was on time, did the reglazing as promised and the tub looks like new.

They did a good job. I was totally satisfied. They were totally reliable and the price was fair. He didn't give me a hard time or anything and he was very professional.

Adding my voice to the accolades. Diego is Professional, does beautiful work, is open, friendly, and his prices are very reasonable. The rental apt.'s bathroom in my 2 family had seen complete loss of grout in several areas surrounding the tub, and some ceiling tiles were loose. Diego came to look at the job, listened to me, explained what would be done to give me what I wanted (make it safe and waterproof), and gave me his quote. Knowing that I was under the gun to get the apt. in rentable condition, he worked me into his very busy schedule, for which I am both impressed and very grateful. On the day of the job, by the time I came home early from work, they were finishing up - and the bathroom, which hasn't been updated for three decades, looks like new. They cleaned up beautifully after themselves, and, while I did clean the bathroom before they came, it somehow looks even cleaner than I'd left it, even without considering the new grout. Wish I'd taken a "Before" picture. I'd tried doing the re-grouting myself, but during my attempt, a tile fell off, hit my head, and shattered in the tub. I knew then I needed a professional because I wasn't up to dealing with the threat of having the whole thing fall down and smash into shards. Diego ended up having to carefully (because I couldn't find replacement tiles) remove a section of loose tiles, re-apply them, and then re-grout them along with the rest of the tub area. A less professional man might have tried talking me into re-grouting the whole bathroom, but Diego didn't. He came, he saw, he re-grouted, without creating unnecessary billable work. Finding someone that you can trust absolutely in your home, who will do a truly excellent job and charge a fair price, is like finding treasure. Hire him without reservation. He's the kind of small-business man I am so glad is still out there - and I'll support and recommend him to anyone with absolute confidence.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent !! Did purchase a new house several weeks ago. The house was somewhat neglected as there were renters living in the house for years. Cleaning the tiles in the master bath was mission impossible. The grout had turned yellow all over and black on several spots. Three contractors did not want to touch my bathroom as they were afraid they would chip the tiles while re-grouting. The forth one said the same, but agreed cleaning. I was very disappointed until Diego and his wife showed up. He totally understood why the first fours threw the towel; they all would use a scraper which allows you to remove the grout fast, but could easily chip the tile. Understanding the risk, Diego removed the old grout using razors - very tedious job, but resulted to no chipping. On top of grouting, Diego and his wife did a terrific job at cleaning all the tiles with heavy stains from the hard water. My bathroom now looks brand new. Very decent pricing. Very professional. Very punctual. Because of the excellent job done in my master bathroom, I called Diego again (this time his brother was helping) for my second bathroom. Great job again. I strongly strongly recommend Diego. You will not be disappointed.

I chose DR reglazing because of the reviews i read on angie's list. I have to say I was not dissapointed. Diego and his team did a great job. They were very clean and careful to leave things better than they found them. He advised me of a plumbing issue I had as well which if I didnt get fixed could damage my reglazing. I recived a quote over the phone and he stayed true to that price. Overall I am VERY happy with the vendor and the finished product. My old ugly tub looks brand new. This saved me a lot of money.. if I didnt like it my next alternative was to gut and redo my bathroom. Now I dont have to!

They did a great job overall - came in & were very courteous, protected everything, did a neat job and within only a couple hours. Would use them again and recommend to others.

Tub looks brand new - what else would I want? Even the spout and shower controls look better and they were pretty new.

Diego did a terrific job. He was punctual on both appointments (estimates and actual work) and gave me very good suggestions. Three and a half month later everything looks great (this is a heavily used bathroom). Will definitely use him again.

Diego was on time, professional, and very friendly. He checked the condition of our original 1945 bathroom and let us know that some tiles had to be replaced. Only issue I had was that his schedule is pretty booked and had to schedule now to have the bathroom done late July. This creates somewhat of an issue for us as we have another contractor waiting to do the floors. Per Diego's recommendation, the floors have to be done after the reglazing because its marble. The price quoted was a little a higher than expected, but in fairness to Diego, we didn't consider the amount of tile needed to be replaced in the scope of work. Overall a great experience.

Diego is a real professional and you know it from the minute you talk to him. He showed up to price the job exactly as planned, to the minute. He explained what he could do, and limitations imposed by the existing tile and grout. He called to confirm the work date, as he said he would, 2 days in advance. He and two other people came exactly on time on the day planned, so I could get to work on time. My super told me I would not be able to sleep in the apartment after the re-glazing because of bad fumes for days. Diego reassured me about his powerful extraction exhaust fans, but I packed up to leave anyway. When I returned after work, I saw that Diego was right - NO FUMES, except in the bathroom where the tub was. I slept in my own bed. The grouting work was precise (my super checked up behind him to be sure no risk of leaks), it looked beautiful, and the tub is now bright, white, super clean and shiny. Better yet, the apartment was clean, no dust, no debris, not a speck of trash left behind. Diego clearly takes pride in his work - and he does the work himself, he doesn't contract it out. I have no reservation giving DR Reglazing the highest recommendation for quality of work and professionalism.

Very satisfied with Mr. Riera's work, my old worn 40 yr. old yellow tub is now white and looks brand new, he was on time, courteous and cleaned up before he left. I highly recommend Dr. Reglazing.

Diego and his wife did a fantastic job on my bath tub. I should have taken a before picture. It was in terrible shape. Chips and scratches greater than 2 inches all over the tub after my renovation. I didn't want to replace my tub it would have cost me thousands in parts and labor. I tried doing the refinishing myself by following some online postings but I gave up and called Diego. He was on time. He was very professional. He kept my place clean the whole time. The Verizon technician who was installing my FIOS at the time saw that I was refinishing the tub. He saw what Diego did and ask for his card which I was happy to give him...lol. Thank you Diego!

Absolutely great from beginning to end. Fast, professional, cleaned up after themselves completely. My only concern was that the feel of the finished tub was not perfectly smooth. It feels like there are very tiny little bumps. I called up about that and they said that that was normal -- they can't eliminate every little piece of dust in the air. That was a little disappointing -- so be warned about that. But the way it looks is just perfect -- you can't see these little bumps and, honestly, I'm not sure how safe a totally slick surface would be. Bottom line: hire these people and you won't be sorry.

First, let me say how grateful I am Diego gave me a quote OVER THE PHONE. It's very hard to get anyone to do that these days. That, and his high marks on Angie's list had me already sold. He showed up on time and did the job in the allotted time. There were no surprises. The tub looks like new. Courteous, professional, helpful and did the job right. What else do you want? I give him an A+. I say, even if you haven't considered getting your tub reglazed, if it's older than 5-10 years, give it a shot. It's not that much money, and this guy does a great job. It'll look like new and you'll be very happy.

Excellent! We moved into a new house and the bathroom was stuck in the 50's. Time was an issue for us and they performed the work on a Friday and Saturday. Could not be happier with all aspects of the work, from the first estimate to the final product. If you are looking to reglaze a tub, sink, tile or whatever, do not bother looking any further. you will not find a better contractor.

I had contacted Diego awhile ago to get an estimate on reglazing the bathtub and he responded to my email with a phone call within a couple of hours, which is much faster than any other contractor I've contacted across the board! They are SO busy that they were booked more than a month in advance! I was a little hesitant to wait so long as I really needed / wanted the work done sooner rather than later but the reviews and his responsiveness said I should wait. His work is WORTH THE WAIT. He is responsive to emails and phone calls, showed up on time and did a BEAUTIFUL job.

Old looking bathtub? Before you buy a new one, you really need to call Diego. You have to! He is the pro! He has all the qualities of an A-1 service contractor. Reasonable price! You get a husband and wife team that is so efficient and so professional. One for the price of two great people. Know very well their stuffs, did their work very well, punctual, courteous- makes me feel confident that the work will be done according to our verbal agreement. You have to get this guy!

Very professional. Punctual and quick, clean and neat in their work. Bathtub looks like new. Was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even went so far as to polish the kitchen sink which he said did not need reglazing.
