DnR Reglazing

Diego and his wife are miracle workers. They did a shower stall and a bathtub for me and I am impressed with their professionalism. They were on time and very nice, no nonsense they got right to work and were at my home the entire day. They taped off everything, were very neat and the result was a great job. it was a pleasure having them work in my home. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

My bathtub was temporarily located in my master bedroom. On the 1st day when the provider (Diego) first came to my house, he covered areas surrounding my tub very well to prevent any damage to the surrounding area (floor, walls, furniture, etc.). He then refinished the entire outside of my cast iron tub and feet in satin black color while the tub was upside-down. About 40 percent of the outside of the 99 year old tub was bare cast iron and never finished. On the 2nd day, Diego returned and re-glazed the inside of my tub in the same white color as before. Diego used a special fan during the refinishing process that was very powerful and did an excellent job of keeping the bad fumes to a minimum. I was very pleased with the beautiful appearance of my bathtub after the refinishing. Diego made my antique tub look almost brand new. I never imagined that my tub would look so beautiful and I am very happy about keeping the tub instead of getting a new and more expensive one. I would most certainly hire Diego again and would strongly recommend him to anyone in need of refinishing their tub.

Diego arrived precisely on time; he assessed the situation; he set up a fan, covered furniture and got to work. The work took about 3 hours and the finished product is amazing.

Diego was responsive and prompt. Came and gave me an estimate before job started. Came on time to start the job and finished within time frame he initially gave me. Diego was knowledgeable, looked at my pedestal sink and toilet to match color of tub before starting work. He vented the bathroom while work was done. His partner even cleaned the tub fixtures so they look brand new. They gave awesome service and did their job. Would recommend them to anyone. This was probably the best experience I've had with someone I've hired to do work in the house.

He arrived on time and was very professional. Worked well with the other contractors on the project. Did a nice job. There was one place in the reglazing that could have been done better, but it was in a very unnoticeable place so did not request that he return and fix. Although based on previous reviews, I would think he would have returned to fix the area.

Bought a house in April of 2013. After about a month of work ( and money ) put into the house, we did not have the extra money to remodel the outdated bathroom. My wife's biggest concern was the bathtub, as it was rusty and dirty. I did some internet research before I decided to call in the professionals. Diego was more than professional. He gave me an estimate, and returned to do the work. He was very clean and did the job quickly, yet effectively. Diego went over the options of matching the bathtub color to the tile color. After about 15 minutes we decided to just go with the white. It came out great, and was probably one of the best investments in the home.

Diego and his wife showed up promptly at 8:30 to re-glaze our bathtub. They masked off all areas around the bathroom so no overspray would accidentally hit where it shouldn't. Diego noticed a few loose tiles at the base of the tub and removed and re-affixed them. He caulked the entire perimeter and cleaned up prior to leaving. The job was finished at around noontime and the tub looked better than brand new. A++++ job and super fast and friendly and professional - Highly recommend his services.

I was very pleased with my experience working with DR Reglazing. Diego promptly and clearly answered my questions before and after reglazing the interior of my tub. It looks beautiful and feels amazing.

The job went perfectly from start to finish and I am extremely pleased with the results. Diego came at the exact time agreed upon. He was very professional and courteous and got to work immediately. I had a vanity that was quite close to the tub that I am to replace next week. Not only did he remove it, he removed it from my house to the garbage for me. The job took about 4 hours, exactly as he said. My tub was in pretty bad shape. My home was built in the late 1940's and I believe this is the original tub. It was quite stained and it looks beautiful now. I had the plumber in later that day for an unrelated issue and asked him to be careful because I just had the tub refinished. He walked into the bathroom and was so impressed with the results and said the tub looks brand new. He immediately asked who did the work so I gave him an extra business card and hope this will create more business for DR Reglazing.

Diego was very professional and courteous from start to end - I cannot recommend him highly enough. Diego re-glazed a previously glazed tub and then re-grouted the surrounding tile. The end result was just what I had hoped for.

I found DR on Angies list. They did a great job - he was done in about 4 hours and the tub looks AMAZING. We had a severe rust condition near the drain, he cleaned it out, took care to repair it. Looks better than new. Highly recommended!

I was looking to remodel my bathroom and got quite a few quotes from different contractors. However, my sole bathroom being out of service for two weeks wasn't going to fly with the pregnant wifey... so I had to look for alternatives. I was looking at providers like rebath and bathking which essentially place a plastic liner around your enclosure. However, there prices were absurd. I then came across DR Reglazing on Angie's list and decided to give him a call - gave me a quote over the phone which I accepted. I had to schedule the appointment for 1 month in advance due to his availability. Diego arrived on time at around 9 AM and finished by 3 PM. I live on the third floor of a condo and my bathroom doesn't have any windows. He had to route his exhaust fan solution out through my door. I was quite surprised by the results - the bath looked great! Not only that, he recaulked around my tob and polished my bath fixtures.However, there was a visible haze and a very dizzyign smell from the tub - probably due to the lack of ventilation. I ended up leaving all the windows of my house open overnight and stayed in a motel. I got home the next day and the smell was virtually gone. Diego advised that I not use the tub for a 3 days to let the paint settle in and I promptly followed the advise. Its now around 2 months since my service and the glaze is holding up quite well. My only complaint was that he should have told me about the lack of ventilation potentially being an issue when he arrived. However, for the price and quality of the service - I can't really complain.

Diego was a pleasure to work with and incredibly responsive and professional. What started out as a simple bathtub reglaze turned into a little bit more when the wall basically crumbled due to an old leaky bathroom window. Diego knew exactly what to do and basically rebuilt and retiled the wall. He was fantastic and did an expert job. I would highly recommend him. Our old bathtub looks shiny and new and ready for our toddler!

Diego was great to deal with and a consummate professional. we wanted to preserve an old tub which was original to the house as part of a master bath addition. after we scheduled our appointment with Diego to reglaze the tub, we purchased a pedestal sink. Diego agree to reglaze the sink at his shop since it would need several coats over a period of 2 weeks. there was a bit of overspray on the tub which Diego needed to return to touch up and he was very flexible in accommodating our schedule. he did a fantastic job on both fixtures and they now look like new. Diego was on time with his scheduled appointments and returned calls promptly.

Diego and his wife were punctual, polite and professional. The tiling job was bigger than expected and because they had to cut out damaged original tiles without damaging those around it took quite some time. Even though the replacements were a different thickness they scrapped behind the wall to get them as close as possible to the originals and you really can't tell where the repairs were. The tub re-glazing also looks great but like any re-glazing can be damaged by dropping something on it so we will need to get it redone soon. I will be calling Diego for that.

All of my dealings with Diego - from the initial phone call to the completion of the job, were friendly and professional. He and his helper arrived early and did a clean, neat, and careful job of prepping. The reglazing itself took the exact time (about 3.5 hours) he'd told me it would. Afterwards, the tub looked like new and the bathroom was left in exactly the same state as it started. I have shared the before and after photos below! I'm very happy with the job and would recommend him to anyone.

They were excellent, He returned my call immediately. He called me and showed up when he said he was going to. Reglazing a tub can be really messy, but everything was absolutely immaculate. He said it would take about 3 and a half hours. He got there at 1:30 and said be done by 5:30 and he was done by 5:30. He cleaned up everything. There wasn’t anything that was out of place. The job looks great. They were really good. I'm very happy.
